All of the apps that I use, are working on WiFi but not this music streaming app, Gaana.
The thumbnails load as they should but the songs won't play.
But when I switch to mobile data, it is fine.
What could be the possible reason? Provide me a solution.
There was a trick, I read somewhere to turn on aeroplane mode and then use Wifi... It worked once but won't from next time onwards.

Its some android related problem, not app related.
So I would wait for a solution
Anyway I didn't like Saavn actually

How were you able to solve the issue, even i am facing the same issue and unable to fix it... All the video streaming apps (barring youtube) and music streaming apps keep buffering on wifi but work on mobile data.. plz help

Does anyone know how to fix this
The same is happening to me. If this continue I will reinstall stock with rsd lite, Im on stock, dont know why this is happening.

None of this makes sense to me on why this is happening... Do you know how to disable Device Admin for Google Play Services.... My F*cking WiFi won't even work now....

Mine has been doing this as well and clear cache or reinstalling doesn't help. Here is to hoping 4.4.4 fixes this issue or Google updates the Play Services app again...

ART here, guess I could try switching back again to see what happens
ART is known to cause this problem with Google Play Services. Hopefully it is fixed in the new update that we should be getting shortly.

Hi,
Recently I tried installing the Cyanogenmod using 4 different versions. The first one by the installer given by the website and the next 3 using ClockWorkMod app with the last 3 snapshot versions starting from the 16 Sept one and moving downwards.
All installations failed to connect to WhatsApp when I am on mobile network even though I can still surf the internet on my web browser and access Play Store. Once I am connected back to wifi, the WhatsApp will be working again.
Anyone experiences this and have a solution?

Looks like the problem is with your network provider rather than the Rom itself ..
See if whatsapp works on other ROMs for you like purity or slim. I use lots of ROMs and have never had a problem with whatsapp

Thanks for your reply. However, when I install back the stock android, I am able to use my WhatsApp as per normal using LTE connection.
Hope this clarifies the situation.

Just to confirm. The change in kernal takes place during the unlocking or rooting process?

i am on this version and have no bluetooth issues at all.just crap battery life and no google play music lockscreen controls

I updated to XNPH05Q via OTA not aware of the reported BT issues.
Will try later today if I have issues connecting to car audio system.
Btw, is 1+ supposed to continue receiving CM updates ? I read somewhere that CM and 1+ are in some feud.
Update: BT works just fine in my car.
Try to revert back to 44s version or flash Bluetooth firmware of 44s build

No BT issues after XNPH05Q OTA update ? is that a fact ?
I have to manually select my Bluetooth headset or speaker after I updated. I have no other connection issues, just the manual selection.

I have updated to Lineage OS with latest release on July 10, however when I tried several apps for online Radio it doesn't work on mobile network however If I stream You tube at 720 FP it works well..
Even the web WhatsApp also doesn't work...

If you mean apps like saavn,gaana,Spotify..etc,they work fine.
Thanks I just checked yes saavan is working however non of the online radio which have malayalam streaming station in not working ..
Like malayalam radio , its not working only on my device with mobile data but only by a WiFi..

Some of these I try are like...
1) Malayalam FM radios
2) Malayalam radio stations
3) Malayalam radio and news
4) Malayalam radios
& so on from google play store..

First one(Malayalam FM) working fine..see attached screenshot.I didn't test the other two.

Yes you are right they are working well with the wifi however when you switch this to mobile data it stops working on one plus one..I even got a July 17 update on Lineage OS.
I tried my sim with other handsets & the app was working well even on mobile data but no luck with one plus..
Seems issue only with Lineage OS..

Could be..you can try switching to some unofficial lineage os like sultan's or idprophecy's.
