I'm on the same version. As informed by Honor on facebook Nougat for the Honor 8 Premium should be available within the next few days. I think you used the rollback tool from Nougat Beta to MM, right? I got the same version no. instead of C432B131. Let's hope we will get the update on the regular way. I tried to flash C432 but it still shows me C900. Don't know why.

Yes I also tried flashing other update zips but the version never changes. Hope we get the update soon. Please let me know if you do get it first .

Do you find solution?

Use firmware finder and see the current latest updates and the download the update, there is video in youtube how to upgrade through firmware finder

i solved going back to FRD-L19C636B130 using this file:
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1276/g104/v64069/f1/full/update.zip
after extracting, put the files in "dload" folder into sdcard, turn on phone using 3 kays combo (Power and Vol+ and Vol-) and it will start installing again it.

What have you done after the installation of FRD-L19C636B130 firmware to obtain the updated firmware release, i.e. FRD-L19C636B360 or the newest FRD-L19C432B380? Have you downloaded again those firmwares installing them manually or have you received them by OTA with phone updater or HiCare?

Unfortunately since I live in italy i had to change values of files of locations after rooting system to get OTA. Now I have fw FRD-09C432B360 even if mine is a L19 but it works properly. Waiting for B380...

I saw maybe you had the same problem I have.
I have FRD-AL00 (4Gb/32Gb) Chinese version. I went to settings updater the day it arrives and downloaded two updates. Now I have L19C432B131 (shows on phone) / FRD-C900B131 (shows on dc-unlocker).
Can you please explain the steps the way you solve? Im very newbie on this

I just downloaded that file and extraxted it. You will have some file and folder: put ALL this in a folder called just "dload" (as it's written).
Turn off phone, take then this dload folder and put in sdcard into your phone.
Then turn on phone using "3 keys combo": push together Vol Up + Vol Down + Power buttons and it will just start to install.
Be careful of one thing: the file of the link I used IS NOT THE ONE YOU HAVE TO USE FOR YOURS!! If you want to get back to AL00 chinese version you have to download the chinese firmware. Crossflash other regions firmware will not make your phone work properly.

Someone can share to me his "oeminfo" and "custom.bin" files for the FRD-L19 version, please?
OEMinfo is located in: [/device]/dev/block/hi_mci.0/by-name/
custom.bin is located in: [/device]/data/

I tried it a couple of days ago. Not able to update with Firmware Finder (Proxy), and flashing with TWRP gave an error 7. So back to B389 I went.

I just installed it last night to check what I'm missing compared to my L14's outdated USA firmware. For starters the Android security patch is up to August. There are even several camera modes I didn't know about until I rebranded my phone like document scan, monochrome, light painting, etc. I'm yet to test any battery improvements. On the down side I lost VoLTE and band 12 support but I knew it was going be that way.

In all USA firmwares (from MM to Nougat) available for my FRD-L14C567. The last update that came out is B385. My carrier is T-mobile. It's very convenient having both, carrier aggregation and VoLTE. For that alone I'm sticking with the USA firmware even though update releases are happening very slow for my region.

Just received this via OTA... upgrade was flawless and no issue to report so far. Not noticed anything new apart from some new camera modes

Same got it this morning. Maybe also a bit more smoother in menu scrolling....

Short story before I get to my question.
I have a U11+ bought direct off HTC in Hong Kong.
I have had no updates since Dec 2017.
Wrote to HTC in Europe about the lack of updates and got this amazing reply:

Thank you for contacting HTC.
In regards to your enquiry about updates, kindly note that after running the serial number provided, your device ship country is Hong Kong.
Which means, it is not from EU region, and devices from the Asian region most of them cannot be updated and have no option to update.

Soo I checked through the XDA forums seems the TW version of the phone is the only one that gets regular updates.
Then I unlocked bootloader and downloaded HTC_U11+_TW_1.24.709.93_Images_OTA from nene bear.
I didn't install TWRP as I was going to return to stock and just be happy with the updates hopefully coming from the TW version.
all went smooth thanks to all the excellent posts and help on the forum.
378 fastboot flash -S 1G system system.img

380 fastboot flash boot boot.img
oh and I relocked my bootloader

I have both TW and EU version of HTC-U11+ (both rooted with Magisk 18.0) and will apply OTA on TW only when RUU will be available (as I had - probably self-caused - problems during previous update of TW version).
I am not too advanced but AFAIK the phone needs to be "s-off" to change the CID to apply other region version updates smoothly, which is not available yet for HTC-U11+ (maybe I am wrong).
I hope for the EU version updates a "shortcut" directly to Android 9.0 (which was announced for HTC-U11+), otherwise the neglect of EU updates is really weired.

Today I got an answer from HTC support why European version U11+ did not get security updates ...
Sorry for for the answer but we can't say why 11+ is not getting security updates.

Okay. I switched to a Pixel 3, great device and just the right size compared to the U11+ for me.

I did have further conversations with HTC customer service regarding updates they said this:

It still doesn't explain the lack of regular security updates on the U11+ but my friends U11 has had 2 or 3 updates bought the same time as my U11+
I tried to get into recovery last night but got a red triangle Ill try it again later, got into the bootloader and download mode fine.
Think Ill end up going down the TWRP and Magisk route and change the CID just a bit more reading up to do.

u11 + model is selling in taiwan because the small updates take that region. I think he's looking at the sales figures. But if it's just Taiwan for the update, it won't be able to sell anywhere except Taiwan. International brand, will be the domestic brand.

Not at all, update 1.24.709.994 as the title said! When Pie will arrive, the version number will become 2.xx.709.xxx
U12+ hasn't received it yet I think and it will sure arrive on it before U11+!

April security patch released in Spain for SM-A750FN

On April 27th, it was released the latest security patch in Spain. This firmware can be found in Sammobile.
This update (A750FNXXU1BSD6) is not the same as in Russia (A750FNPUU1BSD2). The changelog only says that it brings security improvements, and I haven't found anything new.

That's very complicated. You should try to install SmartSwitch app from Samsung. I havent had recieved any OTA too. But when I connect to the SmartSwitch you can easily update your phone if any update available. I got the second pie update today in SmartSwitch. If you use SmartSwitch and no update will be there, then you can go into the manual update. Im from Slovakia too BTW

It was updated last night, and the pie is terrible. Changing my device. Farewell friends ?

Are you talking about Samsung Smart switch mobile app? But that is an app to transfer files. Please let me know to update my device.

I mean this app https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch you need to download to PC and also to mobilephone. When you connect the phone with PC , then launch the app in PC. This will automatically check for new updates. You can also do the update

I think there is no update for my phone, after connecting my mobile, there was no intimation to update even though I kept the device idle for 30 minutes.

Please go to Settings--> About the phone (down)--> Info about software, then do the printscreen and upload the picture here.
Or give me the software version carrier (it´s something like SAOMC_SM-A750FN_???_???_...etc)
I will try to help you to find if any update is available for you.

It seems that there is no PIE for you. You probably have XME Malaysia version of firmware.

Can I flash any other countries firmware. for ex: Thailand firmware

I only know that it's possible with ODIN, but I can't tell you more about this,because I don't have any experience with flashing with ODIN.

I noticed only improvments in camera. Exactly: before this update, scene optimizer didn´t work in my case. After this latest update, Scene optimizer works okay.

It's smooth enough in deed But I'm definitely missing some useful tablet features like volume button rotation depending on tab`s orientation and vibration feedback. One can only hope Samsung will fix this with some update ... .

It's strange they took vibration feedback out. Im pretty sure the tab s4 did. For me it's no biggie on a tablet but should be an option

... yeh man ... and that the volume keys don't rotate together with the tab`s orientation, it's for me the first time on my third tab (1: Packard Bell= acer a500 and 2: galaxy tab S).
AOD would be nice too. No idea why they not offering it on tablets ... .
In One UI I miss a lot the launcher option to scroll left or right from home screen in a circle, endless to say so.

Volume rotating according to screen orientation should be baked in as default.
Untill then you should be able to enable it with System UI Tuner from playstore. :good::good:

Can't locate any stock firmware for this model anywhere. Tried Samfirm and Frija but no luck.
Sites such as sammobile, updato and imei also return nothing. WTH?
Firmware for SM-T860 XSA is easily available but that's only the Wifi model.
Can anybody help with obtaining stock firmware for the XSA (Australia) region.

Hey mate, had the same issue here. I just flashed German firmware, just like I did on S9 before. Works perfectly, and it is always in the list of first countries to receive security patches and other system updates (via OTA)

Flashing German (DBT) firmware is exactly what brought me here.
Doing so has lost Wifi calling (yes the tab is used for calls at times)
This is the reason I'd like to go back to the original XSA firmware (It had working Wifi calling).

Right, I see...
I couldn't find flashable XSA anywhere for download, but if I were you I'd try Kies firmware recovery (rebranded into Smart Switch?), or any other official Samsung firmware recovery method which uses your IMEI/SN to identify your device. That should be able to get you Aussie (XSA) region firmware restored onto the device.
P.s. Try New Zealand (XNZ) firmware, I wouldn't be too surprised if it works for wifi calling in Aus

Do you mean in this thread here What I've read samsung is offering it for galaxy s10 only ... . It would be very cool if they would bring this program for our tab but i doubt it.

Very doubtful. But, note 10 also stated yesterday!
Ok, tabs nas never had this beta treatment by Samsung, but this is first tablet with best possible soc... Now, only sd 855 which has not early beta 10...
But again, small chances...

How to change region
I bought a Galaxy Tab S6 LTE in the Emirates, the region is naturally xsg. I want to change to sek Ukraine. Since both regions belong to the OXM Region multi-regional firmware, I inserted the Ukrainian Vodafon SIM card and made a complete reset via the tablet menu. The region has not changed, XGS remains.
What am I doing wrong?
