Then I opened the built-in camera app and the pictures were fine
Same problem with other social media apps like Facebook, Instagram etc they all display very dark image.

[Q] Third party camera apps linking to gallery bugged?

I'm currently using xmc wildchild22's JellyKang rom. When I use a third party camera app such as Camera ZOOM FX or Camera FV-5 and there is a button within the app itself to go to the gallery, I am only able to view the last picture taken, and cannot see all my pictures without exiting the app and opening gallery itself. I also have no option to delete the picture, only to edit. Is this normal?

Camera photoviewer showing photo by camera only?

Is there any way to set the photo viewer (when pressed in the camera app) showing photos that are taken from the camera only?
The photo viewer shows all photos accessed by the phone in chronological order. It is annoying that I capture phone screen frequently and the camera apps shows the screenshot also within the camera.
Can expect disaster will happen if I download some porn photos and forget to delete

Camera brightness problem

Hello,
When I'm using stock camera, on the preview the pictures is high contrasted and bright, and when the photo is done, it's not so bright, more darker.
I tried all the camera settings, but nothing works. Maybe there are another good camera apps.
That's no camera problem.
The photos look darker because the gallery app reduces the screen brightness. Use quickpic gallery as a alternative!

Camera app with good auto settings and date naming?

Can anyone recommend a camera app that name the photos with date and is equal or better in quality than stock app with auto settings?
I have tried some apps but I always go back to stock app because it seems like better photo quality
The stock HTC Camera app lacks filtered shots and a live photo option. The live photo option, Zoe Camera, was last available in the HTC 10, capable of taking 3 second live photos like iPhones.
So if you want those features, you can try Camera MX, as it has both live photo and filtered shot features. What I like about this app is how close it is in quality to the stock camera's auto mode, plus it adds all kinds of special effect filters and overlays to its feature set. Best of all, I have the option to do live photos.

Google Camera App Video Not Working

Taking videos with the built in Camera app (Google Camera) leaves me with a green thumbnail in the bottom right, and when I tap on it, the video is just grey. There is sound but the video is not there. Other camera apps work but they are missing features the Google Camera app has. Has anyone else experiened this, and have you found a fix?
Rooted with Magisk, Unlocked, TWRP installed. Tried reinstalling Camera app to no avail.
