Flashing New Bootloader using EMMA - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I looked everywhere to get the new bootloader on my Z3 D6653.
I have downloaded Emma and tried to flash the phone but it recognize my phone as D6603 so I thought of not flashing causing the phone to brick.
So I really wanna try 14.1 roms but everywhere it says you need the new bootloader so is there a way to get it.
I am currently on 6.0.1 LinuXRom
Thanks

If you on latest Android 6.0.1 then you only need a latest TWRP 3.1 recovery by @nailyk - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120716037 and then flash stable Lineage OS 14.1 by @nailyk - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=164444 . That's all! But if you want to return on 6.0.1 use Emma tool.

[Q] Flash 5.0.2 on D6603 (unlocked/flashed)

Hi,
i want to update my xperia z3 D6603 to the newest Lollipop 5.0.2 Update.
If I want to do this via PC Companion, but I got an error 2003 that it can't update my phone. I think this is happening because I unlocked the bootloader.
The currently installed version is 4.4.4 (23.0.1.A.5.77). This was installed from a service company, so I don't have any clue how to flash my device to the new lollipop 5.0.2.
Can you tell me what I need for the installation? Is there a complete tutorial for it?
I already downloaded flashtool and found the custom lollipop roms here. Do i just have to go into the flashmode, start the flashtool and flash the new image?
Looking forward to get some help from you
greetings

Yes, you're right. Just follow the on screen instructions of flashtool and you should be good to go

XT1039 and Lollipop OTA update problems with wrong bootloader

Hi guys,
several months ago, when Motorola released Lollipop for my rooted XT1039, i tried to update via OTA, but the device got stuck in a bootloop, showing a message that i found out after searching, means that i have the wrong bootloader(I´m using CWM Touch 6.0.5.0)
So my question is, what is the best and safest way to get Lollipop working on my phone.
Should i flash the stock XT1039 version of Lollipop or can i use the Motoflasher to flash the correct bootloader and update?
Thanks in advance
Just flash the original recovery from your device, as you cant update via OTA from a custom one
Ok, thank you.
What I've seen ist the MotoFlasher the best choice, as it has the new Moto G Recovery, should i use this program?

New TWRP 3.0.0.X installation process

So hey guys,
I got ZyxxOS 1.2 (Android 6.0) running on my Z3 and it has the old bootloader with the old TWRP.
I want to flash the new TWRP but therefor I have to get the new bootloader.
My questions are:
If I flash the new bootloader (.200 service with EMMA) will the rom be overwritten with the latest official stock firmware?
And if so, I made a backup just now and if I flash a recovery on the new bootloader, will I be able to fully recover the ZyxxOS
on new bootloader with new TWRP?
Cheers.
EDIT: I just tried it and it worked out
Flashed the .200 firmware with EMMA (5 mins), then unplugged the device, plugged it in again with vol-up (fastboot),
flashed the latest TWRP (unofficial one from Z3 Dev section) and then restored my backup from before.
TWRP works fine as well as my rom

Can't return from aosp 7.1.1 custom rom to 6.0.1 stock rom

Well, i've flashed an aosp 7.1.1 firmware to my z3 UB but the battery drains fast and the camera is too dark, so, i want to return to 6.0.1 sony stock rom but i flashed 6.0.1 kernel (fastboot) and flashed the rom (recovery) and bootloop occurs after that.
Any suggestion? help
You must flash stock firmware with flashtool
I have the same problem, but i fix it:
1. You need to flash some android 7.x.x non-aosp(lineageos, etc) rom.
2. Then flash nailyk's recovery - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767124626 (ONLY WITH FASTBOOT,NO ZIP)
3. Then from this recovery wipe data cache and dalvik.
4 Then try flahs .ftf with flashtool.
If all this do not work you need to download and install official flashtool EMMA form Sony - http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/ and then flash with last ftf in this programm. After flashing in EMMA you'l be able to flash .ftf in Flashtool... Please say thanks if i help u)))

I used FlashTool from PixN Rom 7.1.1 , to get stock rom. Worked.
I flashed the 7.1.1 AOSP, had no battery drain or any other problems/bugs. Was a good rom. But decided to go back to stock 5.1.1, mostly because of Sony DRM keys. Unlocked my bootloader but forgot to backup the keys. Good thing is that there is a fix for that, if you didnt back them up. Only on stock Sony firmware you can get them back.
The easiest way to fix the dark camera issue and the Sony special "things", you need to be on stock and restore DRm keys or flash the DRM fix.
Use flashtool to flash stock ftf, than just flash recovery via fastboot and download any rom you want to flash after that.
I recommend flashing stock 5.1.1 than custom 5.1.1 or MM.
Dont forget flashing SuperSU
Hope this helped you. If you need recovery img i can upload it for you.

How to Downgrade XZs Dual to Nouget 7.1 ?

Hello . How can i Downgrade My Xperia XZs Dual 8.0 to Nouget 7.1 ? My device is new and Boot Loader Locked . I don't see FTF of Nouget here . I want to Downgrade becase the Battery is Worse in Oreo also with Heating Issue .
I've been looking for instructions on downgrading my f8131 and i can't find anything that helps. every time i try to flash with the flashtool i get some loader error.
I think it requires Unlocked bootloader
Try using flashtool to download the FTF. However, that may only contain the latest FTFs. You could check on xperiacheck for older FTFs.
You do not need an unlocked bootloader to do this.
Thank You for the response ! Appreciated !
Are you serious we don't need to unlocked the bootloader if we wanted to flash something?
