Hello
Anyone knows how to enable autofill for sms verifying
I didn't know that exists until my friend did it with his phone and he doesn't know where to enable it
I couldn't figure out where it's enabled
I seem to forget to mention his phone is not rooted and the future came out of box

Hi,
I have received several MMS messages and I don't think I've I've ever tried to send one, however...today..when I do try, I get an error message telling me the recipient is invalid>
does anyone know why I would get this? or how to fix it?
I'm on T-Mobile if it helps (obviously not in this case!!)
thanks
I am very new to Android coming from Palm Pre and I purchased Droid Pro and activated it with Page Plus everything seems to work fine except I can't receive or can't send any plain text messages any kind. I haven't been able to receive or send any ever since I got this activated. I have tried everything I could.
I did activation multiple times and still no luck! I am very frustrated at this point and don't know what to do. I really love this phone and it works great including web data, calls but the stupid text messages will not work at all.
As soon as I send a text message I get an instant error message saying text message not sent and it does that for every message. This is just driving me insane since I text more than I talk.
I am getting close to my last resort is the reset this phone to factory which I don't know how to do. My brother uses Droid 2 Global and Fascinate on Page Plus Wireless with no problems. I tried calling multiple sources and no one is willing to help me.
Please help me if you can.
Anybody here know what I can do? I am so frustrated. I know I am missing text messages right now. I hate to go back to Palm... and this is the only Android phone from Verizon that I like so far. I love the keyboard but without being able to send or receive text messages this thing would be worthless for me. I text more than I talk.
This are just random guesses, but i thought i would try:
- wrong sms format (UTF-8?)
- wrong number/address for sms central in settings?
Fixed!!!
After days of fighting with it I got it figured out by process of elimination. For Page Plus Wireless under "Wireless & Network Settings" > "Mobile Networks" > "Network Mode" - needs to be set to "GLOBAL" and not "CDMA" like I thought and after this all my text messages are working properly.
This may be useful to someone later on.
Now if I can get rid of all the bloatware that this Droid Pro came with without rooting I would be very excited. I love this phone so far even though I am missing the true multi-tasking but I am sure I will get used to. I am already getting used to Android and it's only been a few days
Root it and change build.prop
change in system/build.prop
ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc = 0
This will solve sms problems

Hi guys:
I already searched for this in Google and what not, and I have tried some, but with no luck. Here's my situation:
I own an Unlocked Nokia X2-01 with a T-mobile SIM Card working. (I'm not prepaid, just with a expired contract).
I receive calls and make them nicely. I'm able to receive text messages and send, but, for some reason I can't make work the MMS messages since I can't receive them.
I tested already the proposed settings here, but I can't make them work since those are for other devices, not a Nokia X2-01.
How do I make MMS settings work with my device so I can receive mms?
If someone wants to drop a hint, thanks very much in advance! And sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks!
Thanks anyway.
Still waiting for someone to share a hint. I already tried some configurations but they didn't work for me since those are for other devices.
Thanks in advance and i'll keep waiting. Thanks guys!
*BUMP THIS UP*
Anyone can share a hint? Thanks guys!
Got something working, partially...
Ok! Here's the thing. I've done more search and I've found a partial fix for the mms settings. I'll share the fix for the benefit of everyone.
I was a couple of days ago inside the t-mobile website. And I didnt notice a help section they have for "non-tmobile devices" (see the attached PDF file for specific details). I found this only thru their search option.
So, I took the phone. I went to the menu->settings->configuration->personal settings. And there I created an access point and a multimedia msg. settings with those tmobile provide in their site.
Inside access point I inserted the wap.voicestream.com address inside of the packet data access pt. option.
Then, I inserted the mms server address inside the multimedia messages personal setting.
Now, I activated both in my phone and I'm now able to receive picture messages. And, I just said picture messages. Now I have the problem of sending mms messages. When I try to send an mms for example, to an android phone of some relative they only see a little triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Just that, no photo.
There's where im at right now figuring out the sending of mms. If I make that work i'll post results. If anyone wants to drop a hint on sending mms, configuration, etc. Please do.
Thanks and i'll check back later.
Hi guys....I have a HTC One M8 which is unrooted and running Lollipop which is great for the most part but I can't figure out how to set up group messaging and more recently it won't download any MMS I recieve.
I wanted to try and change the settings for group messaging in ChompSMS but can't figure it out. Right now, when I'm part of a group text, each message shows as a single text from the person that sent it, and when I reply it only goes to that person, not the group. I have tried changing some of the settings but nothing seems to work. I am sure this is an easy fix and feel kinda dumb for not being able to figure it out. I tried my other sms apps as well to see if it was a chomp problem and it's the same for all 3.
When I was trying to figure out the group messaging problem on my own I apparently changed something in the settings because now whenever I recieve a MMS I get a message saying "Can't download MMS - Check your APN settings". Again I have tried messing around in Chomps settings and haven't gotten it working. Also again this goes for Textra and the stock app as well. Please help!
So....nothing?
Is this just a really stupid question or what? I don't know why no one responds to my posts. I've posted about it in 2 other forums as well and no responses anywhere. I have searched this problem as well and found other people asking similar question and haven't found any helfpul responses. I can't imagine no one knows how to fix the problem...someone help! Please!
Have a Nokia 8.1, which was recently upgraded to Android 10 Q.
Have been noticing that the phone sends SMS or at least shows the SMS sending notification on screen.
But there is no sent message in the SMS app. Need help to remove any possible malware from the phone.
Have not installed any dodgy apps or given permissions to apps (for sending sms), so am not sure why the phone is behaving like this.

Would appreciate any help provided.
Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this.

When is this happening?
Is this after you buy (or an automatic subscription renewal?) something from Google play store but pay via your carrier? Normally this "DCB-ASSOCIATION" authentication takes place in the background, which might be what you are seeing.
(Some msg apps like Signal do seem to show these msgs)
In this post it's showing... though yours are not showing, possibly just the pop up?

However it could be a sign an app is sending in background that you are unaware off, maybe you can see it on your phone bill. ( Android 10 does allow you to block other apps from sending send sms messages, so only default messaging apps can, you can turn this on in developer settings ... though you should find the source of sms. {Maybe an antivirus will show spyware your loved one has installed on your phone which is sending them your location, aww how sweet} One other possibility is carrier provisioning which sends an sms to set up your network settings, but as far as I know you should get a pop up to do this & I'm not aware if phone sends a confirmation back to your carrier)
