I have one weird issue with contacts in LineageOS 14.1 . I recently flashed nightly ( lineage-14.1-20170406-nightly-osprey-signed.zip). Now whenever I am installing any app with "read contact" permission, if I allow permission, my all contacts are getting deleted. I have checked this behavior while installing whatsapp, hike and viber. Anyone know what is happening ? Is it some bug ?

My phone is MMX A116. I'm a newbie to Android rooting and custom ROM. With some help from XDA I'm now using TWRP Ver 2.5.0.0 with Jellysmart V1.2. Quite happy with the performance. Noticed an issue with whatsapp: when I touch the 'play' on any audio in a conversation, instead of playing, the app quits to the previous page ( it goes to the page showing all contacts ).
Please help me fix this issue. When contacted, the Whatsapp ppl say that since I'm using a custom ROM, they cannot help me.
1. Is it due to Jellysmart V1.2?
2. If so will upgrading to Jellysmart V1.3 solve it
3. Can I upgrade to Jellysmart V1.3 without having to reinstall all apps?
4. Is there a simpler solution to the whatsapp problem?
It appears as though whatsapp is unable to open the default audio app. I have no problems playing video or seeing images from within whatsapp conversation. But to play the audio I have to browse to the file location and select to play.

Hey bud, I wanted to help you out because I know it can be tricky when you can't post in a development forum. I took a look at that rom for you real quick, and unfortunately I have no help for you because I don't want to answer unless I'm certain that I'd be correct. If I can make a suggestion, you might try sending a pm to the op. Here is his profile and "send message" is available: http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4422843. An observation though: last post he made on the ROM you are asking about was back in March. Might want to look into alternatives... Sorry I can't help better on this one. good luck though.
Hello everybody.
I installed Resurrection Remix 4.4.2 at beginning of the year and everything was ok. In may it started to appear the message " Services Google Pay app shut down" without reason.
I thought it was just for few days, waiting for an app update or something like this but since it continues.
I tried to install another ROM but without success (cause of gapps...) so I installed back RR and the problem is still here.
Can someone help me please ? I can't access to map because localisation doesn't work...and it is very very very VERY IRRITATING !!!!

Recently I update my Rom from Cm 12.1 to cm 13 (snapshot 16.03.2016), and then I noticed the clock app has changed, in cm 12.1 you can use random songs from my storage for your alarm (v 3.0.3) , and after I update the Rom I don't have the option (maybe the app from 12.1 was edited by cm).
I didn't find any apk link in the Internet so I tried "apk extractor" app and installed the clock on cm13, but it didn't work.
I tried a lot of apps from the store and everyone of them was disappointing.
Can someone know a way that I can use this version on cm13?
I also have this problem on nexus 5. I tried deleting the clocks data but it didn't change anything (I saw that solution on another forum from a user on a nightly cm13 build).
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one.. Can someone please help us to find solution??
hey guys, yesterday after i did fresh install my galaxy s7 to stock ROM, i'm experiencing this annoyance issue. i dont know what the name it is, somekind of system pop up message and the position of the text is in the wrong position, it's a bit off from the center (picture below).
anyone know what cause of it?

It's a known bug in some Nougat builds. It's already fixed in the latest build.

Hi Xda, I have been using Lineage 17.1 for some time everything works perfectly fine.
The issue comes when i want to upload an instagram (Story) or a Whatsapp (status) uploading just fails. I already did all the possible fixing solutions with nonrelated OS possible problems (connection, app version, factory reset).
Also when i try to record a video without the stock camera (just records 3s and then just freezes)
