I have the Verizon version pixel and after update into the 7.1.2 update I lost VOLTE . ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?
Nope. Got 7.1.2 the other day. Still have VoLTE.
I was hoping the 7.1.2 update would fix the issue I keep having with "server not reachable" if VOLTE is on. Anyone have any input on that?
I have a Google Play purchased Pixel XL on Verizon and I also lost VoLTE in 7.1.2. It is still not back after the May security patch.

Press *#*#4636#*#* in the phone dialer and go into phone info and see if volte is turned off. Mine was , someone here in the forum recommend this fix for me and it worked .

Well, unfortunately, T-Mobile carrier WiFI calling is not present in the official 6.0 release today. I was really hoping it would be as we could see the option in preview 3.
Anybody have any further information regarding the possibility of T-mobile Carrier WiFi Calling on the N5 ?
Any Sprint users by some far, far, far out chance have Sprint Carrier WiFi Calling after the 6.0 flash ? :silly:

That option was there before in the M previews, as I stated above, and it still cannot be enabled.
.
I own Verizon Pixel, but I use it on T-Mobile. Maybe someone who knows can comment if my device will get that new build(NHG47K) or this is strictly for users that use Verizon sim.

Would be interesting to see if you will get the new build: NHG47K
Verizon Pixel on Verizon with N2G47E as well though I did the OTA manually rather than wait for it to appear. I do this every month. Have had no issues with the phone.
Much prefer to do updates on my schedule rather than on someone else's in case there is issues with the update.
got mine through verizon. dloaded and installed nhg47k yesterday. nothing bad to report.
I got a Google play store pixel and I use it on Verizon I also received the Verizon build is there any differences

So looks like users on Verizon network are getting this build. Link in the first post shows change log.
It does work pretty good so far as I can tell very smooth
I updated and my VOLTE is broken . I factory reset and still nothing. Verizon said it's a known issue
Does anyone have a download link to the Verizon specific OTA, please?
Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

A couple of things that may help you out on the VoLTE option, including bringing back HD Voice calling and Video Calling. Same thing happened to me on the new build. I went into the the *#*#4636#*#* Phone information menu and ensured that VoLTE Provisioned and other options are turned on. For me I need to decline the HD feature and re-enable...for you probably a call to Verizon. Takes just a few moment to do and didnt have to reboot. Viola' HD Voice and Video Calling were back. Good luck

The only difference between N2G47J and NHG47K is the radio image (modem.img). NHG47K has a newer radio.
Sounds bout right
The K update has done nothing for the weak cell signal. Time will tell if it does anything about dropped and missed calls.

I never had such problems even with old firmware versions. I know that some people have them, but it looks like these issues are location dependent, so I wouldn't expect updates to fix it.
Anyone running the google pixel 2 on AT&T unlocked? If so thoughts, I've been reading that VoLTE does not work nor does WiFi calling. I have a Samsung S8 that I purchased from Best Buy and I flashed the AT&T firmware to get all this working. I know that this phone is not on AT&T so I doubt there will be a way to flash any firmware since this device is not sold by AT&T.
Anyway, just throwing it out there for feedback from Google Pixel 2 users on AT&T.
I signed up for Android beta, and had VoLTE and HD voice on AT&T, but not wifi calling. I switched back to the Nov security release to see if Bluetooth issues were fixed and those things went away. I have since re-signed up for the beta, but haven't gotten an OTA yet for the next beta, but I'd assume they will come back. So the answer to your question is yes and no....

Thank you for the feedback, this is the only thing that keeps me from buying this phone unlocked. At&T service sucks where I work, so I'm dependent on WiFi calling functionality. I think I may have to switch to Verizon if I really want this phone.
I went back and forth on keeping it vs going back to my HTC One M9 that seemed to work flawlessly.... The Pixel 2 is nice and the battery is sweet, but I feel like the technology goes backwards sometimes with the Bluetooth issues and lack of some casting support. I decided to keep it, in the hopes that the Bluetooth issues will get resolved, and the battery life. I have good AT&T service, so those things I never had, I didn't even know what I was missing.

I have an S8 that I purchased out right unlocked from Best Buy. The phone is good but I get irritated because it runs like a snail from time to time and it drives me insane. A quick reboot fixes it all but then after some use (days) it's starts doing it again. Maybe it's all the dumb Samsung bloatware that slows it down. Which is why I like the clean vanilla UI on the pixel 2.

I can confirm that HD voice works fine on my unlocked Pixel 2 on AT&T. HD voice was added in Android 8.1.

Not sure. You can test it yourself though. Find another phone (person) on AT&T with a handset that supports HD voice and make a phone call - making sure you're in well covered LTE area.
You will see "HD" displayed on you Pixel 2 screen under the name of the person you're calling.
so... im on ATT.. i have a OP3 and when i switched to omnirom 8.1 . all of a sudden my VOLTE and VOWIFI started working... but of course when i upgraded to OP6 VOLTE went away with the same sim. if i pop the sim back into my op3 with omni, boom volte works and i can make HD calls. but on stock op6 its a no go. i have seen the threads where u can root and enable it . but i dont know how exactly that works. if u can do that with root. why cant oneplus enable it on there stock rom? how can omnirom make it work but not oneplus? and switching to something like tmobile is not a option for me..

Yes, you can enable it with root/magisk and magisk module called VoEnabler. HD calls work fine on ATT once you have this installed.
Only 1+ could answer why they don't enable this out of the box. Pretty frustrating.

I thought I saw a setting under the AT&T settings (SIM1) that said to to use VoLTE whenever possible. Does this not enable it?

Usually it won't even be an option if ur using att on a OP.
My OP6 doesn't have that option with AT&T, but it does with T-Mobile. I tried the VoEnabler module and now I see WiFi calling and VoLTE as options with AT&T.

Hmmm. Maybe the ROM I'm using has both baked in as I see both options - and I'm on AT&T.
Hello guys,
Finally the good news (at least for us in Saudi Arabia) Google has activated Volte & 5G on the latest Android 12 beta (May.2021)
But i am still waiting for the Vowifi activation
If anyone living in different countries can confirm as well
Thanks.
Update: in Android 12 beta 2 it was disabled again
What a stupid decision making
Good news bro
No change in Belgium (Orange, Proximus) with A12 Beta 1 , no VoLTE, no VoWifi
Same for Portugal(NOS) even on Beta 1 VoWiFi and VoLTE remains locked
VoLTE working here on 3 Austria too, don't have 5G enabled on my plan anymore so can't comment on that.
No luck with kuwait Stc
Anyone tested this in Hong Kong yet?

Is it still working after beta 2 update?
Anyone for uae ?
VoLTE & VoWiFi in Poland still blocked. Tested on Polkomtel and T-Mobile carriers.
It didn't work in Android 11 too...
The same for Orange BE, Proximus: VoLTE & VoWifi not working (A11, A12B2)
And we are in 2nd half of 2021..
I guess if Android 12 does not have the voiceover LTE then moving to root is the only option we all are left with. I am going for iphone anyways once it is confirmed that a basic feature of voice over LTE still does not exist after Android 12. Google pixel has been a terrible experience in advance times.
So there is a July security update which has a voice over LTE support for certain networks. Definitely not Middle East because I tried still not working I think it's just for some USA carriers
I enrolled in beta and on 2.1. Well the request still goes to deaf ears for Google.
Sorry on beta 3 but still no volte. Makes it clear that it's time to move to custom ROM and make the most of use of this phone now.

did you find any custom rom with volte working for you ?
No but I am currently up to two things.
First is that I am on the process of selling this phone on a local classified online.
Second is to check by rooting the phone.
I don't think any of the custom rom supports voiceover LTE by default. You really have to use the magisk by rooting the phone.
Pixel 5 will be totally last Google phone which I bought.
Official build of Android 12 comes this morning to my device, 5G, VoLTE, VoWIFI all these features still LOCKED!
Google is not a company which I can trust anymore.
