[Q] Disable Force Shutdown/Power Off From Long-press Power Key

Hi all, wanting to make my phone completely thief-proof here, and one of the things I'm wanting to disable is the ability to force-shutdown the phone by pressing and holding the power button.
Is there an Xposed or anything that can negate this? or is it, as I fear, just a hardware configuration that cannot be stopped? If this is the case, can a tasker task that disables the power button when my phone disconnects from my Smartwatch be a solution? I use a OnePlus One so not having the power button functioning when I don't have my Smartwatch is not an issue because I can double-tap the screen to wake it.
Anyways, simply want to disable someone from being able to power off the phone if they take it and don't know my passcode (I already have a fake power-off popup when the phone is locked, so all that is left is to make it so that a thief can't force the phone off).
OR, failing this, worst case scenario, can I put a password on TWRP recovery so that my phone can't be reset if it is powered off?
Thanks,
Michael

H950 Power Button doesn't go to power options menu/turn off screen sometimes

THIS IS NOT A HARDWARE ISSUE
Screenshot will always work. Tap on/off will always work.
I have an LG G Flex 2 (H950 on H950PR firmware 5.1.1) and I noticed sometimes I can't turn off the screen or get into the boot menu (Power Off, Power Off and Restart, Airplane Mode) with the power button.
Sometimes it will tell me to keep holding power for a few more seconds and/or tap volume down. This will allow me to get my power button working normally again. but sometimes I don't even get this option and I need to use a rooted app to restart and that will fix the problem.
I am a battery doctor user, root user, Xposed user, and my IO Scheduler is changed from CFQ to Deadline.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this or is this some safety feature to make sure I don't turn on the phone while it's in my pocket?

S8 Plus Recovery Auto Boot

Hi guys, this is my very first thread so here goes nothing,
I recently damaged my S8 + power button and it is no longer operational, however i have been able to boot to download mode and reset device after it going flat and not turning back on and staying in a bootloop while plugged in. Any way so my new problem is that it went flat again and i plugged it into charge and it automatically boots into recovery mode and when i manage to get it into download mode pressing volume up or down does not work. Any way to fix this and get my phone back up and running?
I can definitely see that being a ***** because you need the power button in sequence with Bixby and a vol button to get to download mode or recovery. Id prob root the phone and install quick shortcuts app that gives you on/off/reboot/restart/ options it might help you. But replacing the power button is a simple procedure and I'm sure it's very cheap to. Id fix that button and problem solved.

Cannot go into safe mode please help!!

Please help me. So recently I've been having this screen overlay detected issue and I'm trying to resolve it and one of the ways I found was to go in to safe mode and disable all draw over apps. I'm ok with doing that and I know how. You hold down power button and then hold down power off on the screen. The issue is that my phone doesn't have a notification after holding power button to power off, restart and put to airplane mode it has a slide to power off a button to restart and a cancel button to cancel. So I need help to finding out how to put my phone into safe mode when everything I've seen says to hold down power off on the screen, but I don't have a hold down to power off!!!! Please help me btw my phone is called Leagoo M8 Pro.

[INFO] LG K3 Modes - Download / Recovery Etc

Here are the modes for the LG K3 VS450
Factory Data Reset - Power off phone. Hold down volume up button. While holding the button down press the power button and hold it then while holding it when the LG logo pops up let go for a quarter of a second then hold down again on the power button. You will enter Factory Data Reset Mode. This is your typical LG Reset Mode (one on a white background) and has 2 options.. yes or no.
Advanced Recovery - Power off phone. Remove battery from phone. Replace battery in phone. Hold volume down + power button at the same time. You should see a message saying "Recovery Mode loading... " when you do let go of the buttons. You will enter the Advanced Recovery mode. This is your typical Android Recovery with many options.
Download Mode - Power off phone. Hold volume up button. While holding volume up button plug your data cable into your computer. You will enter Download mode. This is your typical LG download mode.
Safe Mode - Power off phone. Hold down volume down button. While holding the button down press the power button and hold it until you boot up. You will enter Safe Mode. This is your typical LG Safe Mode. It shows safe mode at the bottom left of your screen and can be exited easily by selecting exit from the notifications menu. On some LG's it will require a reboot others it wont.
IMEI Display - Plug phone into computer via data cable. Turn phone off. Remove battery from phone and replace it. Hold down volume up + volume down + power button. After the LG logo you will see a white image pop up make sure to quickly let go of the buttons. You are now staring at IMEI Display. I do not know if this is normal for all LG's or not but I would imagine so. I do not know what it is for either other than perhaps something industry related? Test modes? Etc. I will research and try to find out. I have an industry level barcode reader and software so when I get time I will read the barcodes and see what data I can get. I will also try to replicate on other LG's here.
