I have idol 3 6045k with dual sim support. I tried several ROMS but none of them give dual sim support. I tried Pixel OS 1.0, EU 4.2, Alek Os 5 and Project X but none of them support dual sim natively I tried some workarounds like trying build prop editing and installing some random zips like DUAL SIM.ZIP by Marionette but none of them solve the problem.
Right now i am in Pixel OS with stock kernel. Can you suggest me any ideas to get dual sim or any rom that has this feature (If possible MM else LP)

Hi if I install the official cm11 http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=falcon from here. Will it work without ril. I mean all the other features?
Also Can I install any single sim rom on dual sim to work without the ril(NO SIM) but other features should work?
PS I am not referring to the test build I want to try the official one.Will it just boot up
the cosmic and the kitkat build are the best roms for core, why not developed for single sim version?

Because most of the developers are from India, and I believe they only have the dual sim (GT-I8262) version available there.
too bad, i tried to install these roms and change the sdk but not working. sorry for my english im italian
Which one should I buy Z3 (D6603, D6633)?
I would like to use custom ROM as a daily driver.
Z3 dual D6633 seems to be great, but will there be a wave of LP 5.1+ ROMs for dual SIM phones? - Official android support for dual SIM was introduced in LP 5.1 AFAIK.

When I bought Z3, I had the same problem as yours whether I should go for single sim or dual one.
Finally, I bought a single sim (mine is 6653) because I think 6633 won't get as many custom roms as 6653 would have.
And it's true till now though I am still using stock rom as the custom roms are not very stable yet.

You can flash D6603 rom on D6633 but you won't have any mobile connection on either the cards (no phone, messaging and internet). As far as I know the problem is not resolved yet and that's why no AOSP rom, etc is available.
Hi there guys!
I'v just unlocked the bootloader, got root and installed the CWM recovery for my L02...
The problem is that if I install a rom, like CM or MIUI (L02 versions of course), "i don't get the dual sim option and signals"!!!
Please help with this :/ I don't know what I have to do :/
Current versions of CM11 and MIUI based on CM11 Kernel are not supporting dual-sim mod. In other words,, only one sim is working.
PLease be patient, after realeasing of Android 5.1 sources, new versions of CM11 (CM12) with dual sim support will be released. Currentlt, only stock rom, and all based on stock rom are supporting two sims on our Honor 6 L02/L12 phones
