Extend your battery life notification - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone. Just quick help. With Nougat 7, now i get every time a stupid vibration with a notificaiton saying the following:
Extend your battery life: and it will tell me one app is draining my battery.
How can I stop this from showing? I have held the notification and search every where. I cant find any where how to prevent for this to show ever again.
Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue and it will drive me out of using Android phones. This last update is a nightmare.
I second the request for a way to disable the constant pestering. Thank you !

Settings> Device Management> Battery>
Press the menu button on the right hand sign (looks like three dots)
Click Advanced Settings
Toggle off App Power Monitor
Done!

[Q] Battery Full Notification - How do you Turn it off?

This is the MOST annoying thing in the world to me.
When the Battery is Full the Screen Comes on and puts this little Notification down at the bottom of the lock Screen.. Screen stays on a few seconds then 5 mins later it does it again..
Ive gotten to the point where I just cover my phone up at night. But there has to be a hidden setting or something to where I can disable this? Can anyone help out here.
Side Note : Ive already disable the "Sound" Battery Notifications. But thats the only thing I can find in relation to battery notifications.
There's a "Power Plug" application installed, but if you disable it (freeze) you'll also have to disable Motorola Services.
My bad.

[Completed] notification is completely lost of poweramp

few days back in the lockscreen view, while poweramp was playing, i toch hold the notification and pressed the silence button - the one that looks like slashed bell.. now i cant get back poweramp's notification anymore, everytime i need to access it i need to open app but cant access it from notification tray. i tried reinstalling with no success, also tried with some settings in sounds and notifications with h no seccess there too.. what am i missing here? also the battery info shows miscellaneous more than any other, i've noticed upto 91% battery consumed by that

Google Pixel: Enabling Battery Percentage

How can I enable the battery percentage on my Pixel?
Swipe the notification tray down.
Then hold the setting button, it looks like a bolt or cog.
Hold it for a few seconds the let go.
You'll see system tuner pop up in setting menu.
Tap that and go to status bar and it'll be at the bottom.
Good luck!

That requires a modification. If you care to and are rooted, flash this via Twrp. Select the very last option first (base). Hit finish, on next screen select check box at the top and hit finish again. This time select either percent with battery icon or without. Hit finish and finish again. Always make a backup first.
There are other mods in the theme section that will get you there too.

Might help to install busybox into system first

Edit: I might have misunderstood. The systemui tuner method will give percent inside the battery. The mod method gives you percentage beside or instead of the battery icon.
Thanks. I may root it soon.
i have no mods and battery percentage...its an option in setting like the first reply suggested

I see. That's inconvenient though.

Why is is inconvenient? Perhaps you misunderstood? Pull down the notification area, press and hold the settings icon until you see a message that says system tuner has been enabled (or some such thing). Then go into settnigs, scroll to the bottom and you'll see system tuner there. Touch it and enable the battery percentage there. It puts the percentage in the battery icon in the status bar. Only has to be done once.

Hey I just came over from Sprint and got the Pixel. I am 100% stock unrooted and long pressing the settings icon does nothing. I have even found a YouTube video showing this method and it simply doesn't work. I am on the latest February patch, could this patch have changed this and it's no longer available? Not knowing the percentage on the fly kinda sucks.

It should still work but I've heard stories of some people both on Nexus 5X and Pixel having difficulties getting it activated.

Battery percentage

Greets, I hope this is the right department, I've gleaned a lot from this site and have nothing but respect and appreciation, thanks!
I have a CAT S60, 6.0.1 unrooted and I can't get the battery percentage to display (outside of 1 swiping) I do have the stupid battery level icon and it stupidly does display a level that changes as battery drains. Here's what I've tried so far:
System UI activated and shows the switch for "Show embedded battery percentage" but turning it on and reboot, still no percentage.
Tried with and without developer options activated
Installed an app called "Percent Enabler" That puts a number inside the battery level icon that I just noticed is no longer doing so but so what.
Checked battery settings. No option
There us no settings for status bar
Checked display settings. No option
Looked through developer opt... you know what? I did not look through developer options. Can you hang on a second? Thanks!
Nope or at least nothing I recognized as battery percentage display stuff.
Searched here and found some info but none seems to apply. It probably is here somewhere but I can't seem to find it! Any help would be super appreciated and I'm ready to do a factory reset if needed. Thanks!
