HEXAHEDRON BOOTANIMATION FOR ANDROID
Bored with your stock or old custom bootanimation, here is a brand new bootanimation for your android smartphone. Both 1080 and 720p versions are there to download for you. I have also embedded a video in this post to see how this bootanimation will look on your phone. Hope you will like it.

The color of hexagon is not good. Don't know why but it is not attractive.

Replacing the file didn't work
So I created a flashable zip
And flashed it

On small thing I think would be an improvement would be
Making the Android text that appears colourful....
Can you do it the same but with background black ?

I'm assuming this sort of thing breaks SafetyNet?
Looks super dope, but I don't know if it's worth giving up Android Pay, Snapchat, Netflix, etc that I finally got working with Magisk.
How do i install it? Why not make it so that we can use it by substratum.. would be nice..

I've modified the launcher itself to work with Eclair/Froyo framework.jar so you no longer need root to make use of this awesome launcher.

Instruction:
Either put the APK file on the SDCard and install it with any file explorer or install it with adb.

I believe this only works on the specific build of FRF83, I think there is a link for it in the first post

You have to install FRF83. It doesn't work with any other version, sorry.

I would like to dispute that claim I have it working on my FRF72 MCR r18 Mod by Rodriguezstyle 2.6_fix.....I did not wipe at all...I figured I would be flashing MCR r19 RS2.7 anyway so it would be worth a try...Initially it took forever to flash and I thought it was bootlooping but then the lights came on it was a go!!! Initially this had some noticeable lag but I went to spare parts and tweaked the animation/transition speeds and I have had no problems so far.

You have to go to settings to enable the weather.
I have attached the theme zip, due to size constraints, its in 2 parts. Enjoy.

Yeah, just checked, same here, but that's a problem with this AOSP build. I'm gonna keep using it though, still very functional.

UPDATE
Updated the theme to to work with the 2nd AOSP release by Chris Soyars.
Most bugs with the ROM are fixed.
Added a better charging animation.
just wanted to thankyou for this theme and hope you continue to develop it.

I don't use the kitchen, I compile the framework myself in apkmanager.
So im very hyped up for my nexus 5x to arrive tomorrow so to help past the time i made a small bootanimation to try on the device when i get it. its nothing special but i did feel like i should share it so here it is

I have it set at 60fps but I'll look at increasing it.
Where exactly is the flickering, it may be just spots I missed when rendering out bb8. There's a lot of frames and was just going by what I could see as is to save time. But if others can see excess bits I'll go back and zoom in and clean it up.
A mirror would be great!

I edited the picture to monochrome and the boot splash is attached.
In case you want the red version feel free to comment. I think black one looks cooler though.

Try again and give the screenshot of logs (screen when flashing) from the recovery. Please also mention the recovery used.

Splash just remains the same, no change, after flashing this.
