Last week, Xiaomi released its third-party adapter tool, Patchrom, for its MIUI Android-based operating system which allows third-party developers and smartphone manufacturers to port the latest version of the operating system, MIUI 6, to non-Xiaomi devices.

I'm not a developer but I would like miui 6 for our honor!

Well, I would be interested too. On my old droid razr I tried a lot of roms , without giving up to stock rom. I would love to see a recovery with dual boot option for the honor too.

Don't expect too much for honor 6
RAZR was a great device which got stable cm12 and custom kernel even though it has locked bootloader and 5 system multiboot

Well, I know that honor will never have the popularity and the developer "attraction" of the razr,but I can still hope for it. A custom rom will probably never have the dual sim functionality and all the feautures of the stock rom, on the honor 6

I had 5.3.6 version, but i didn't liked it very much, almost 60% of RAM always was busy.

Yes and the RoM works well
Using it as my daily driver
And 1.7gb ram is free when idle.

It's your problem. I downloaded at 5mb/s speed. I could have uploaded to a mirror but my download speed is 50mbps and uplink is 1mbps

I have the L04, do you know if all functions works? Like 4G, IR sensor etc?

I have installed 5.5.8 version, it's very beautifull but i have some problems too, i can't change USB CONNECTION settings (it's MTP and i can't use ADB on this mode) and also in settings there isn't 4G network, anyone have same problems or found some solutions?

On L-04, i receive com.android.phone has stopped working all the time...any idea?

Install a custom rom on Huawei Y6 II (CAM-L21)

Hi, I've done searchs for a while and I have found ways to install custom roms on my phone, but all the tutorials seems to be about the exact same phone as mine, except the model name (I only found LYO-L21) and mine is CAM-L21. But what is the difference between these two versions and can I follow steps from the LYO tutorial on my CAM phone?

Listen bro, every custom rom made for huawei p8 lite works in huawei y6ii also. I have tried each and every custom rom made for p8 lite in my huawei y6ii. It absolutely works and there are hell lot of custom roms available for p8 lite which we can easily and 100% safely flash on our huawei y6ii . And my model is CAM-L21. It doesnot matters which model if your phone is Y6ii . Thanks !!

And you should have twrp recovery installed in your phone. You can search in google about how to install twrp in huawei devices. thats it

i have tried the nougat rom in my device and there is a bug in network...i can't call any one and noe one can call me...i have tried ressrction remix based on this rom and still the same bug...is there any other nougat rom?? beacause i searched and found nothing

do you tried AOSPA ? if sim did not worked then flash Stock B190 firmware and then install AOSPA . the sim issue will go in AOSPA but not in others. and there is also omni rom android 6.0 . this rom does not have networking issues. try those

the proplem is i didn't memorize my build number before installing any custom rom and now i downloaded different stock firmwares with different build numbers and always say to me it's not the right firmware how can i know my build number while iam in custom rom??

for me , in lineage os 13, the mobile network did not work well. the signal keeps on disappearing and i could not make calls. even if i could then i was unable to listen to their voices . but if you like you can give it a try and tell me how well it worked for you.

marshmellow version. nougat version has network problem.

Bro Omni rom (android 6.0) has no network problem . not the nougat version but marshmallow.
i have tried all roms available in xda and all i can say is Omni Rom android 6.0 and Aospa have sim working. that's it. other all rom have bug of ril. maybe it will be fixed in future but it is not fixed yet

the rom works without any problems,..
in twrp full wipe with data wipe ,... http://xiaomitips.com/guide/how-to-root-mi-5-using-supersu/attachment/format-data-twrp/
then flash the rom, than pico gapps and then it works ,... i use it as a daily driver

Thanks nofx161, I have found the error , SIM I was using was Raoming SIM , local sim works perfectly fine for Data and Calls may be there is a bug in phone app related to roaming SIMs

volte works..ive been using for two days..dont like miui so this is the only option available till now..thankfully its fantastic rom though nougat, everything works as it should, magisk, kernel toolkit, gcam portrait mode all working

I have tried PE rom and this doesn't support Network Signal Guru app from play store.
But it support stock miui rom.

So i wanted to know that any other custom rom which supprt this app. And I will flash that. Because everytime i flash custom rom i have to format data and all so I can't do that everytime since there are a lot of custom rom are out there.

working means forcing option is working or not?
because i have tried this app on stock but only app is getting opened but no luck in forcing of bands.
apart from forcing the band function everything is working fine in lineage os as well.
if forcing of bands is working in stock rom(need proper confirmation and current band after forcing can be checked on lte discovery app ) as well then do let me know your miui version.

Vendor image is not matching my system

I have a Moto G turbo (Merlin) and i installed Havoc OS in it. Everything works fine except the Camera and the proximity sensor. Whenever I open camera it crashes. I have installed many camera apps and tried it. In the sock rom it used to work fine. Also when I get a call I get a call my screen turns blank and I am not able to attend it.
I think there is some problem with the vendor image cause whenever I switch off my phone and turn it on again it gives an error "
The vendor image does not match system. Please flash the MPDS24.107-56-1-28 vendor image for you device"
Please tell me a way to fix this. I searched for the vendor image in my stock rom but i just found a .xml file that has a similar name. I don't know how to flash an xml file. It would be gr8 if anyone could please provide me with the vendor image for my phone and tell me how to flash it so that I could get this error fixd and take photos again!!

I've never had to flash an .xml image but until you get a better answer there are other Roms you can try,

I am assuming that you are using HavocOS 2.x (pie) by Archer , i believe that the camera bug was resolved in future updates. And about the vendor image mismatch error, it is nothing to be worried about just ignore that (it is not causing the bugs). About the call issue it is something that I am unaware of. Also please dont wipe the vendor partition and there's no real need to flash stock.
I would highly recommend you to flash the latest official TWRP 3.4.0 by Althaf or SHRP 2.3.2 and then flash newer Q ROMs, Q is more stable than P for merlin and there aren't any bugs. There are lots of Q roms available (9-10) including Havoc and other official roms (LOS,AICP).

Actually I am using Havoc os version 3.9 the latest one and still ty big exists. For the call error thing, I just turned off proximity sensor.
But I am still not able to take any photos. Pls help

Are you using this one ?? This is the latest I haven't tested it yet. You will find RR by the same dev on AFH which too has good customization and should be bug free (again i haven't tested it yet,both were released yesterday), I use AICP (I am the maintainer) it has no issues.

And please switch to official TWRP and reflash the rom, the vendor TWRP is not required nor recommended.

First take backups (both nandroid and migrate) then flash the new TWRP 3.4.0 and then wipe system,data,cache and dalvik cache then flash the RR zip and Gapps (i too use nano) then reboot and then flash magisk if u wish to do so(required for migrate)

Yay, I finally flashed RR ROM and it works like a charm. Never imagined my device would work on Android 10.

Glad you got it running. If ever you need to update your TWRP and the phone is rooted just use the app,

Well, Thanks for the recommendation. I will sure try it soon.
I wanted to install GCam on my phone as it has really good photo processing capabilities. When I searched about it I came to know that I had to enable Camera2 API. So any idea on how to do it in my phone?? (Moto G Turbo - Merlin)

Sorry I don't use that app. I use,"Open Camera" and I find my G5 stock Camera good enough for me as well
