Instructions:
Download and install SP-Flash Tool
Download twrp3.0.3.0.zip and extract it
Open SP-Flash Tool and load MT6592_Android_scatter.txt from TWRP folder
Turn Off mobile and prepare USB Cable
Press Download button in SP-Flash Tool and connect phone to USB Cable (if u don't have drivers,look at attachments for drivers zip)
When you see DOWNLOAD OK,boot into recovery (hold vol down + power for 10sec,when u see screen is on,release power and wait)
Make a full wipe (/system, /data, /cache, /dalvik) FULL. Do not report not working if you don't do this. VERY IMPORTANT STEP
Install CM 13 ROM
Install GAPPS and reboot to system
When you see wifi connection page,reboot again to recovery
Install GPU FIX
Again make full wipe and reboot to system

There are some bugs like can't switch from 2g to 3g (it's always on 3g).Then also range cuts off after calls sometime.also some times mobile data won't turn on(if it happens turn on airplanemode and turnoff it after a minute and mobile data will work). Rom becomes laggy sometimes..No other problems found from me.

I tried to fix it,I get 14MP camera,but there are some green layers that i can't fix,8mp is original size that our camera can support,13mp is factory moded pixels(for best selling),that are blurry when u zoom pic,and use a lot of memory instead of 8mp pic,and yes,use that camera

Yes,i know,but those bugs are known bugs for custom marshmallow rom,and that's source fault,I can't do much with it
BUT GOOD NEWS,I've successfully ported lollipop 5.0.1 version,need to improve more stability,and i'll release it. Much smoother,better ram manager,less bugs,and will be stable haha

Na...not for the contest...As you know I was working on the 4.3 for DHD, I decided to also add a few features of 4.3 on 4.2.2 so, used the MIUI port

I'm working on a source build of 4.3 for DHD. So I just used an miui port with a few features of 4.3.This has been released only for testers cause I wanted test feedbacks. It's more of a kernel problem I face on the source port so decided to use the 4.2.2 kernel.
So to answer your question, I need feedbacks of the ROM , FCs, ANRs whatever...because I need to be sure that a few features are compatible with the existing kernel.
The 4.3 features are not ui changes just to answer future questions. It includes a few low level changes. For example the new OpenGl , a few bluetooth mods.
I believe many would have the question "Why a port when there is an official ROM?"
The answer is I'm working on a source build of 4.3 for DHD. I have created an miui port with a few features of 4.3.
This has been released only for testers cause I wanted test feedbacks. My bad that I didn't mention it on the OP .
I need feedbacks of the ROM , FCs, ANRs whatever...because I need to be sure that a few features are compatible with the existing kernel.

So what you need to do is send feedback regarding any issues you face. preferably a logcat.

Thanks for pointing that out. It's corrected now.
Version 3.8.2 3g when out on the bed as it does not work. Hopefully this Sunday version 3.8.9 will fix this problem soon

I found on the official MIUI 3.8.2 the "screenshots show info" upside down. When in turn, info screenshot instead die. When turned off it alive. Does this bug still exist?

Always great to see new ROMs showing up! In the past I tried using miui and kind of liked it but the lag and choppiness on the OS made me return to CM 4.2.2. The question is, how is this ROM on those aspects? Good luck on 4.3 development, its makes my eye water every time I see people showing love for DHD

i think he's talking about the option in settings somewhere, called show screenshot info, I've noticed it myself a few times I've used MIUI, but I can't recall where exactly it is.It's an option for sure, not the screenshot button on the toggles.
You can find it in settings-status bar..i'm using cm10.1 now..i cant send a screenshot to tell you where is the "show screenshot info" what i mean..

Kernel Source not Available due to Cherry Mobile did not release kernel source in public.
I used CM Flares Stock boot.img and modified it with Nokia x boot.img(i.e ramdisk contents)
Made a lot of trial and error for fixing bugs. Compiled more than 5 boot.img.

I did not faced the problem you posted in quotes i.e. double tap.
One request, if you find bug fixes, updates, kindly make a simple flashable update zip instead of another build because I don't want to cost 200 MB for an update.
A question, where can I adjust/calibrate proximity sensor, I can't see option in display. Also typing *#*#36#*#* does not brings KTCIT. So can you provide compatible KTCIT apk & instructions for it.

I have Karbonn A9+. I have tried approx 10 custom ROMs but this is the best ever ROM. Cause it gives whole look change to device. Boots faster, apps run smooth, i.e. better RAM management.

No, I wasn't. I searched on Play Store for it but I found only one app by ZTE, it ran but force stopped when I tapped calibrate.
I searched for KTCIT and found one on 4shared and copied it in System/App, after reboot type *#*#36#*#*,but it didn't worked.

- Copy GApps and CM12.0 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM12.0 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 12.0:
- Copy CM12.0 ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM12.0 zip from SDCard
- Reboot

I mean there are already CM12 roms for our device, how's your build different? I think a pure AOSP is the way to go ( psst, or you may want to try PA) :good:

can someone explain how 3g works? and status of 4G?
i'm on stock but i want to switch to android 5.0

4g works great. The only problem is if u keep it on 4g prefered it will sometime dissconnect 3g and connect after some time

i've flashed the rom and 3g isn't working for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when i uploaded to the latest!!!
I have problem with music player! When i play music the sound skipping sometimes if screen wake off. (with headphone)
sorry my 3g won't work!!!

How to install
S-off or Unlocked.
Update to the latest Lollipop firmware (Not required but highly recommended).
PhilZ Touch Recovery is recommended. You may also try latest TWRP.
Wipe Data/Cache.
Flash the zip file downloaded.
Verizon users please flash Mod edit link removed before you reboot after you flash the ROM zip file. Sprint users may also try and give me feedback.
Don't report bugs if you fail to follow the exact steps.

I'm not jing95916 but you have to go to the 5.8.28 folder & then you can see the m7-5.8.28-4.4.zip :silly:
I'd be more than happy to try this out for my Sprint variant. Have modifications been made so that it (in theory) should work?

Thanks, cant believe I didn't find it. Should've gone to Specsavers!
Just flashed the 5.8.28 file with full wipe. Sim card is not working. Reinserting the sim card and resetting the phone does nothing. Latest firmware for lollipop installed and flashed through TWRP.
What's the difference between this one and the one on the official website of miui ?

Set other input method as the default ,then you can remove SogouInput.

Yes, it's based on CM11 so it's a small enough size
does this work with 801n version ?

Apologizes in advance if "alternative" sensors end up broken I hope they won't!

only issue for me is wifi doesn't see my hide network,i registered it but it stays on saved networks page. but it connects perfectly to normal networks
EDIT:File managers do not work properly or not open at all (ex. Xplore)
EDIT 2: How to grant root for adb? There is no option for that in Dev settings

When I said 'now' I wanted to say 'later'. During my holidays, I don't know how, I lost my 16 GB SD . I bought a new one on eBay and it may took a month. I will find another sd card tomorrow and see if I cand test it
Now it's time for feedback. (I'll write what's work and what's not, if it's written on first post, I will still write it)
- Buggy camera (can't save video recording and no 1080p recording, I use PMSCameraNextMod and stock camera)
- Bluetooth is buggy but work, especially Settings>Bluetooth (if opened, Bluetooth keep turning on and off) you need a Bluetooth device that request to pair.
I test it with my bluetooth headphone and it's connected and working.
- a bit sluggish on transition and animation
- Files doesn't show internal SD, any downloaded file like apk needs to be "copy to" to external SD with Files in order to open it from Files My mistake, sorry. Thanks @JuniorCaesar
- longer boot time compared to los 14.1. (I counted the boot animation circle, in 14.1 it's around 7-8 round. In 15 it took more than 10 round before lineage os logo show up)
- everything else is working or not used by me.
I was going to test nfc, but it seems that there is no other people's phone being unused.

Bad news - they are broken... All of them :'(
But it's bootable and most of the thing works (apart from BT etc.).
I can even login to Snapchat and take picture but only with front camera - cannot switch to back one.
Also - is there something added regarding "low ram" or something like that? Because Chrome browser switched itself to that simple tabs switch (without "3D tabs") and without animations...
But overall, it's super-fast for a ROM in alpha stage
