OK, this is my problem.
I had one app, fx guru, for video effects on my old p7 phone and was working perfectly. But on mate gives me a error message. I tried the other similar app and it's the same problem.
Would be nice if someone could install that app and just try to make one video. Just to know if it just my phone.
Thanks

Hope someone has an idea.
I recently installed Kinoma Free Player, works fine.
But now I can't use Get youtube Video to work. I can locate the video I want, but when I select it I get an error message about the file not having a certificate (or something to that effect)
It seems to be a file association problem.
Any suggestions?
I tried uninstalling Kinoma but that did not help.
Pity, GetYTV worked beautifully before
or was it....
Or was it the recent reinstallation of an upgrade to TCMCP?
As I said it seems to be a file association problem. I'm lost
Anybody here on the OPO forums that use the TwitchTV app? Not getting any sound when I watch any streams but am able to see video.
Would like some input here before I contact the developers on see what the issue is.
Would appreciate it if someone could download the app and play any video of your choosing and let me know if there is any sound being output.

Still doesn't answer my question. No sound in Vortex either, whats weird is that I disabled my ad block and I heard sound from the ads as well as the ad itself but the actual live stream I receive no sound.

I have no idea then. I use Vortex every night and it works fine for me. Audio and video loud and clear. Have you tried changing the quality of the video?

Yeah I have, I guess I'll re-flash my ROM and install twitch right away and see if audio would come through or not. I've done everything that I can possibly think of, time to start from scratch and yeah.
Thanks. You should try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kwd.lakitu out. I find it better than the TwitchTV app although the TwitchTV 3.0.0 beta app is pretty good, a lot of changes.
edit: found the culprit, it was Mahdi Rom.
About 50% of the time this(see screenshot) is what I get when I use the Google youtube app. I can use another app like viral at the same time and play the same video and it always works. So the issue has to be with the youtube app. Any suggestions what I can do to resolve this? It makes the youtube app unusable most of the time.
I already tried it on different networks, clearing data/cache on the app, reinstalling, restarting, relogging. ..
Am I really the only one with this issue?
No you arent. Due to latest cm11 sources yt APP doesnt work with its latest version. Downgrade to 5.1.10 and it works fine
Had that same error also..i just installed older version of youtube app..
Hello
I don't know when it happens or if I just didn't notice before.
When I play youtube videos via the app, at 480p, it seems like there are scanlines across the screen, much like a scanline overlay on an emulator or that sort of thing.
I don't know if this is normal, or if I need to fiddle with settings somewhere.
I already tried to change a couple display settings in developer option but nothing happened.
After a quick check through a printscreen and looking at the picture afterwards, there are no scanlines.
Going back to the video, scanlines aren't appearing anymore.
Maybe something to do with the youtube buffer ?
Anybody with this issue ?
HOW TO REPRODUCE PROBLEM : Launch any youtube video at 480p, observe screen and weird scanlines on video.
You are not the only one with this problem

Ive seen a lot of people complaining about this problem on hihonnor forums
Same problem here
I don't have the Honor 8 so I'm only speculating, but has anyone tried just uninstalling YouTube with an app like System App Remover (ROOT)...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp
Then reinstalling Youtube from the Play Store to see if that fixes it or is it just a problem with EMUI 5?
Yeah known issue

Hello from Greece! I am facing an issue after installing the latest software update ( MIUI 12.1.1.0) on my Xiaomi Mi note 10 lite. I am using a payable app for streaming sports and movies (Cosmote Tv) and the problem (which I didn't have before the update) is that while watching, at any video quality, the video lags, like it doesn't have a continuous flow. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, didn't work. I tried to reset the phone to factory settings, didn't work. I contacted the provider, they couldn't help me..I am a bit upset because I use this app every day. Could you kindly suggest a solution for me? Could you perhaps help me restore a previous MiUi software edition; Thank you very much, looking forward to hear from you!

Usually the problems of lag with those apps are not coming from your device but from their end. It's maybe time to find an alternative app
