Why there aren't any topics for the Romanian manufacturer www.allview.ro? They make pretty good devices, with nice specs and a reasonable price.
Yeah i would love that
Sent from my ALLDRO2SPEED using XDA
There are no threads... lemme think...
Oh right! They just take Chinese and other phones/tablets/devices, and rebrand them. Try to find the original device, and you'll most probably find them here.
There is one device what I've exactly recognized:
Allview AllDro Speed - this is the Pioneer Aurora (LY-F1)
any news about allview other devices? i'm using alldro speed 3g with internal modem and would love a custom rom
i could try to start a kernel development project...but first we need recovery
+1 about this....I really want to buy an Allview tablet and it would be really apriciated a thread here on XDA
Allview Alldro 3 Speed Quad = Onda V972 ?
What do you think guys? Are these two one and the same?

And I have this issue after I install the latest firmware JB 4.2.2. from Onda V972: http://youtu.be/sULa5OLbgW0 .
Any suggestions?

The problem was fixed by installing the latest software version from Allview official site.
There are no firmware replacement right now (or I couldn't find one till now).
If you what to root your Allview Speed quad device you can do it like this View attachment 2252943

Yesterday i flashed it with new official firmware, http://www.allview.ro/index.php?id=1637 it is awesome, the tablet is completely changed, is very fast, with no lags...
For rooting with new 3.2.1.4 official Allview firmware, i used
Root_Allview_Alldro3S_Quad_4.2.2_V3.2_LZ.zip (1.6 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!xtMwSJBT!cSBNcHXKYFJeh5pwdxRZAiP3TV06coLEeZ7eVh_CPhU
and works well
for firmware replacement i hope will work with Cyanogenmod port for Onda 972 ported by Christian Troy but is not tested yet
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45522946
I think, the Speed Quad is clone of Onda 972 V1 or V2, but more possible it is V1 (the firmware version is same (3.0, 3.2.1), appear with little delay after Onda official firmwares, and in the firmware version in Settings/About is marked the V1) so is hopefully to will work with Cyanogenmod port for Onda...

I already try it before. It does not work with any of Onda firmware or Cyanogenmod. It needs a compatibility pack and drivers for wireless and camera. I don't remember if was also an issue with screen resolution and orientation.
We should try to post on this romanian forum or this one, or on softpedia

Which version you tested? V1 or V2 hardware version firmware? I have an idea where come the wireless incompatibility... the 972 has not have bluetooth, maybe Allview requested this hardware modification for bluetooth support...
So, does anyone know what other brands sell Gionee GN 715 aka Allview Viper S4G ? I found condor c7 sold by condor.dz
I am also foarte interested in an Allview phone replacement for the good old n7000 (still working perfect from day 1, rooted and running 5.1.1 Nightowl) and also interested in finding ways to update it after manufacturer support ends, so a big thumbs up on this topic.
PS: Probabil ar trebui sa ne apucam noi de development, intr-o buna zi vom avea si un thread XDA dedicat, asta pentru ca Allview nu este distribuit in toata Europa si/sau America.
Allview viper L is known as Gionee elife 3.
Can anyone check out this thread and try to help?

Every link I come across is invalid
Or do you have any other ROM you use?

Hi all !
I read that google will make a lite version of OREO : Android O Go Edition
Made for hardware with 512 Mo to 1 Go of memory
Have you got any information for this version and for you, is it possible to install it on galaxy tab 2 ?
Thanks
Nico
Sorry for my bad english
Unless you or an interested developer ports it to our tab, no you can not install Android Go on our tab.
They are making mid range phone with Android O Go. Like Android One

What makes you think so? Android 6 runs well on my opinion, should do the same for android oreo Go.
android oreo Go is made for hardware with 512 Mo or 1Go of memory, the galaxy tab 2 is in !
like @Lightracer say, android 6 is running well, android 7 is going to be good on this galaxy tab, an android 8 lite should run too
You know it'll move tasks from ram to cpu? More interesting seem to be a GoGapps Package which could help on None-Go Oreo builds.
