Hello,
I was using the weather widget in Nova Launcher and after upgrading to Nougat I saw that the widget on 4x2 (Or 5x2) format isn't in list anymore ... And Even after a restore of the settings in Nova I could'nt configure the widget.
Does anybody where I can found a similar widget then ? To show the time in a nice font and also the current temp perhaps ?

Thanks for the reply ... So basically it's **** then. Congrats Samsung, again ... I used Meteo Live for information it went free a few days ago, it's a nice app but the sleek and slim widget is still missing, specially since it seems to be present on the S8 ?

So HTC came down on Weather Widgets for looking too much like the original HTC flip clock, and have since released an update that removes said clock, or at least changes the graphics.
Now, I want to flash cyanogens latest, but I don't want to lose my favorite clock widget. I have backed it up using Titanium Backup, is that enough?
I'm an Android newbie and I've never flashed/wiped a device before so I have no idea what Titanium really does, but I assume I can install all programs directly from Titanium/SD Card after Flash, without having to worry about losing my flip clock?

In order to save the HTC style clock widget just back up the folder "prettyweather-googlecode-com" thats where Weather Widgets stores it's skins. Then just put it back on after you flash CyanogenMod.

That folder is stored on my SD card, flashing a mod doesn't affect the SD card does it? So I should be safe?
Absolutely, I just flashed Cyanogen and my flip clock is fine (I also use Weather Widgets.) When you flash a ROM it won't erase anything on your SD card.

That's just your opinion and one with which I disagree.
When I had the old version of weather widget I downloaded the default skin with the skin downloader just so I could switch back to it when I was trying a load of others out. If you have that, it works on the new version (or PM me and I might be able to help )

Now with skin support.
The htc clock is still in the skin downloader, its just called h7c now and isn't the default

can you help me on this. I've downloaded weather widgets from the market but everytime i put it on my home screen i just see the weather and temp readings. i go to the settings and downloaded some skins like the h7c coz i really like the flip clock (htc style) but then the clock preferences is greyed out. im coming from htc hero and i really like the clock with weather integrated and i want this also in my nexus even if it is just an imitation but i don't know how. Am i missing something?

sorry for resurrecting such an old post, but has anybody the .apk for Weather Widgets (yr.no)? I can't find it on the Market (it was still there a few weeks ago). It was the only app which got my hometown correctly.

I want a weather widget that has videos playing in the widget that show the condition of the weather. Kind of like the Samsung or LG weather widgets. I know Yahoo Weather does static images but I want Video. Is there any type like this that will work with any launcher. IE Nova???

What I suggest, however, is using live weather wallpapers. They serve the same purpose that you want but in a slightly different way.
Here are a few examples:

Weather Screen by Hamster Beat - it's not free though
Animated Weather Widget, Clock by Mobilityflow Publishing - they list animated widgets under features in development

Hasnt had a update since July 2013. I don't think any future updates are coming.

In his case (as in my case too), phone/android version is irrelevant because we want a weather widget for a 3rd party launcher and NOT for a propierary launcher with a propietary dependant weather widget (like samsung weather widget, or xperia weather widgets that are only compatible with their propietary launchers...)
Anyway... answering myself, i've found two widgets that does exactly what we want, but they can be very laggy without a potent phone
--> FineWeather Widget
--> Animated Weather Widgets
Both in play store
Missing some widgets from UX mag. Not sure if anyone else is missing them. Is there suppose to be a update for the WIFI version? For instants, theres no clock and weather widget.

I guess I wasn't too hyped up on the mag interface. There is a widget for the regular android screens with the time and weather, you want one for the magazine screen also?

I was just looking for the briefing widget with the clock and weather so i wouldn't have to scroll all they way over to the 4 pages i have with the magazine. But it looks like they took it out.
I was looking for that widget I think is for the phone version only.
I like having the current weather on my home page but the One Plus Widget only updates for me when I tap on it.
I looked at the settings and can find nothing that says something like update once an hour ?
Do you use a weather widget ?

I like Transparent Weather Widget. I've used it for a long time. Can't find anything I like better.

You have to turn off battery optimization for the app. Works like it should then.

LOOK! THIS APPLICATION WAS AN OLD MOD WHICH WAS THE HTC CLOCK WEATHER WIDGET WHERE IT WAS AWESOME !!! NOW THE COMPANY THAT HAD MADE THE MOD HAS CLOSED ALL SERVERS. THAT'S WHY IT DOES NOT SHOW YOU TIME. I WILL FIND ANOTHER MOD WHICH WILL PLAY!!!
