Hi,
Installed superman rom v2.3 on s7 (g-930f). After setup, installed Facebook apk, opened it, logined, and after few seconds it give force close.
Any recommendations how to fix it?

Newbie with my 1st post. This is the 1st time I have rooted and installed a custom rom, I installed on my Desire HD RCMIX3d Runny 1.2 custom rom, but when in some apps like whatsapp & playerpro, and I press the Menu button, the application crashes. Does anyone else experience this. Besides a few niggles this rom is way better than the stock rom.
Could the crashes in the applications be down to this running Android 2.3.5 as this is not yet an official release?
Or if it is not, is there a fix or would I need to wait for a newer version of the ROM?

Did you do the full wipe before you install the ROM? /data left from incompatible ROM may cause mysterious problems.

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
Has anybody else in the ROM specific thread reported the same issue as you? If not, do as suggested above. Wipe and then reflash the ROM.
If you used ClockWorkMod to install there is an option in Advanced > Fix Permissions.
Hello, im sorry if im doing something wrong here but this is the first time in my life im posting on a forum.
I installed Juwe's ROM 5.3 smart edition with semaphone kernel, without doubt its the snappiest rom ive ever used, but i noticed a problem in the market app included by juwe in the rom. for some apps i cannot see the download button . for example i cannot see the download button for facebook app, this download button is un available for many apps on the market.
Anyone know how to fix this or how to install the latest stock market app in juwe's rom overwriting the one juwe's rom comes with ?
I got exactly same problem. Juwes 5.3 (Semaphore 1.5.0) and some applications says not compatible with your T-Mobile SGS ... Recently when I was on Darkys ROM, there were no problems like this.

I recently ported from a MR3 ROM to a MIUI ROM, here is my problem, is not a problem persay, okay.. I fell in love with the messaging app on MR3 cus it looks a lot like that of an iphone, I love the MIUI rom so I never wanna port back to MR3, is there a way I can install the messaging app from the MR3 into my new ROM? I tried installing the apk directly, but I got an installation failed error. Pls help,

Does anyone have access to the stock google contacts app. The one that is labeled just "people". Comes on CM11, AOSPA etc etc. I recently flashed the latest AOSPA ROM on my Galaxy Tab and for some reason whenever I open my contacts/people it FC's on me. So I wanna reinstall just that but I am having trouble finding the apk via google search. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Can someone please help with installing Galaxy S8 apps
On my Galaxy S6 every app I try to install gives error - app package conflicts with existing app or package is corupt
In app settings there is no button for uninstalling updates for specific app like there was on MM
Everyone suggesting to do that but I dont see that option, so I dont know what to do
S8 apps like music, gallery, voice recorder were installed normaly but other apps and S8 launcher always gives error messages
Im on Nougat 7.0 stock

Hey i have the same problem i was able only to install music app/galaxy app/themes app from s8,but browser,gallery or similar no chance the same error as you get,maybe it has something with monthly security updates that is blocking us s6 stock 7.0 android users to install them,i was searching and find nothing to answer our problem
why not use a custom rom like noble rom 3.1 ? is already pre installed

I dont want to root my phone or install custom rom on it.
Looking trough forums I found post with Galaxy S8 apps and I wanted to install them on my phone because they look great for my taste.
Half owners of S6 can install them but others have error with every app they try to install.
Solution is to unninstall previous updates for that apps in app settings, but there is no such option for me anymore in Nougat 7.0.
I just wanted to know is there any other way to install them

No there isn't, the only other way is to replace the s8 apk files into system, this requires root though. If the apks are not installing via the usual way it's most likely down the specific nougat firmware your handset is on, to test I'd find out the firmware of a member who has managed to successfully install and see if it is one that your phone will accept. Other than that you're out of luck mate.
