I have recently brought s7 edge and I am missing the feature of double tap to wake up the screen. I do believe this is a handy setting which removes the use of hard keys like power button and home key. I have also looked into third party apps in playstore but they are quite annoying with different ads and especially draining the battery.
Therefore if any of you have found this feature please let me know and if there is not any such feature would like to request the developer to think on this and build one for next update of nougat for s7 edge

Thank you for the reply. The application is good but it requires AOD to be on and frankly speaking I am not that much big fan of AOD although it is a good feature but it distracts a lot.

If you used the elemental x kernel you can choose to swipe acroos the nav bar. There is also a mod in the sense toolbox (xposed module) to use hold the back button when on the homescreen to go to sleep.

If you have something like nova launcher you can use the above program to sleep your phone using knock or swipe gestures. There is also an exposed module with swipe gesture shortcuts to turn off your phone. It's sense 6 or gravitybox I can't remember. I use insertcoins tap time to sleep since I like BlinkFeed launcher and xposed seems to marginally slow down the UI

Thanks for the tip! I already had this app, but did not know you can swipe up from the homescreen to lock. I relied on the widget, but its much easier to swipe up on any screen
I was just talking to my friend about this the other day since we both had galaxy s3s and the power buttons broke around the same time. Thanks for the heads up

Thank you for this! I never use Google Now myself so this is the perfect solution for me as I wanted a way to swipe to lock the phone.
Hi guys you all are welcome. We are here sharing and learning. ?
Great thnx for sharing. Been using the HTC gesture listener but the three finger thing was quite cumbersome to use. this one seems far better
Nice app! I've noticed that you can now double tap to unlock even if you didn't pick up the phone first and it's already in your hand. Also if the phone is sitting on your desk you don't have to pick it up to unlock anymore......just double tap. Very nice indeed.
Use your fingerprint sensor for actions.
Enable the fingerprint actions of Google Pixel on your device. Use gestures like single tap, double tap, or fast tap (swipe) to control your phone and/or tablet.
To check your notifications, swipe down on the fingerprint sensor on your phone. Touch your fingerprint sensor and scroll through an app of your choice. To quickly turn your phone to sleep, just tap the sensor. And so much more!

Nice work! But double tap registers as fast tap like 9 of 10 times (whichever delay value i use).
Swipe (fast tap) does not work on a Honor 5x with CM13

Does smart lock and fingerprint to unlock functions works without root?

Swipe function do not work, no matter how quick or slow tapping. There is no reaction.
Is root necessary for it to work, or is it just not supported?
In stock rom swipe is working with fingerprint.

Root is not needed for swipe fast tap. I cannot test Huawei over here, closest thing is a Nexus 6P (Huawei made) which works. Maybe some other members can reply.
Do you get a "finger moved too fast" on your lockscreen when you do a fast tap/swipe? This is to determine whether the app works.

No, there is no message showing up.
All other functions work in your app. I tried also the functions where root is necessary, I rooted it to try out - everything works except swipe.
Why does this app require a persistent notification while Fingerprint Quick Action does not?

How many of you have tried out the new accessibility button on android pie? Once enabled, it adds a new button on the navigation bar by using which you can get access to a few shortcuts which are really awesome and much needed (See the screenshot below).
Steps to enable:
Settings>Accessibility>Accessibility menu>Enable "Use Service".
Try it, if you haven't already.
Its awesome

After updating to android 10 reachability cursor stopped working are there any other alternatives?
Would like to know too.
I have started working on a "replacement" for personal use, perhaps someone else will find it useful. It's really barebones right now with no configuration options at all.
To get the app working, first you'll need to allow "Display over other apps" by going to: Settings -> Apps & notifications -> One Hand Cursor -> Advanced.
After that, enable the app's accessibility service by going to: Settings -> Accessibility -> One Hand Cursor service.
Once this is done, it should be possible to swipe from either the left or right lower edge of the screen to bring the tracker and cursor into the screen.
The source code can be found here.
It doesn't work very well with the new navigation gestures in Android 10.
A great app.

I use it in addition to the Fluid Navigation Gestures app.
I just installed it on my onePlus 6t and allowed Accessibility and Display over other apps. When I open the app, it is stuck on the Home Screen, I suppose, it says "Hello World", a pink play button in the right bottom corner. Could anyone help, please!

You don't have to do anything else than enable display over apps and then accessibility and it just works.
From the sides you can swipe and point anywhere on the screen.
Opening the app is useless.

Ur a genius, using with ROG 2 (Android10-Gesture Nav)
This app made my life so much easier as I have a big phone, maybe some feedback for upgrades if ur open to hearing;
Make cursor able to do gestures like scroll through I web pages eg. (Swipe)
Also being able to access notifications menu would be good, as cursor disappears for me once it passed top area of screen.
& Maybe a colour change for trackpad thinking maybe white or grey sort of classic look.
My Workaround:
(I know it doesn't work the best with gestures Nav enabled but I think I can get the hang of it+back is to swipe L/R but when I use your app I only need tap bottom L/R of my screen to show trackpad) + (I added to my start-up menu on phone)
Many thanks for sharing :good:
I think you made a really good app man, congrats.

Thanks for the update! Just tested on a Mate 20 Pro, and managed to get it 'working', however swiping up to go home usually results in the Single press action getting triggered as well.
