For those looking for a call recording application and If you are on Nougat
I tested on NXT-L29C636B563 and it works well
unzip
Put the folder in system / app
Give the 755 permissions for the folder and 644 for apk
Delete all other call recording programs before
Enable in "Dialler/Settings/Automatically record calls/".
You can test on other versions of Nougat
If it is ok thank you to report your model

I used acr and now this function gives better recordings
No need to juggle with the settings

Just install Total Call Recorder and you will be fine.

I can also confirm that call recording is working!
The audio quality is good and also the mobile WLAN Hotspot is working (someone in the linked thread was reporting that his didn't work anymore!)

tried but no luck, the file is generated but can't play with BSPlayer
Recording as .amr file and playing but nothing to hear, just creepy sounds :.(

It works randomly. Recorded 10 calls and just one of them was readable.

As for me call recorder (from skvalex) works perfectly on rooted device.

I have switched to Google Dialer and it's not working with that.

i am having xperia z1 c6902 on lolipop 5.1.1. yesterday i tired to install call recording zip and ended up with this error on my screen always
"Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".
i first deleted arm folder from System/Priv-app/TeleService Folder
and then booted to recovery and installed the zip file. since then i am stuck on this error. can any one share original z1 c6902 teleservice.odex or the arm and teleservice.apk files with me. i did not do backup of any thing

Works fine, records with system tools (not via microphone). Awesome alternative to Xposed call recorder of Android 4.4, which does not work on 5.1.

Use a file explorer and go to Systems>Add.on> and delete the OTA script for the module then flash the new update or same version update on your device it wil reset all your modifications done by this zip as for fix there are non as cyanogen recently made huge changes to the ways of how the CM theme engine works so the older version cannot function properly anymore you will have to wait for the next version of C-Apps or wht cyanogen calls it now Mod.life package to be released

Very thanks to my brother @spuri78 for sharing the "N" system image. Maximum of all system apps working in MM but i don't notice any big difference than the current Google apps.. So here u go... This mod tested only in MM.

Just hold on the home screen till you go into edit mode.
Then hold on any icons to go into uninstall or clone mode. Clone mode is + plus sign.

Whatsapp is supported . I can confirm for the India release . Maybe you are using a old release of whatsapp or a problem with your Rom . Refer attached screenshot.

as hugo is using latest version. 1.16.x
in india current version is 1.7.x
try using APK Mirror

Go on your browser and go to apk mirror its a website that allows you to download android apps without using the app store once a month go on APk and check to see if it has any updates
