Hey buddy Factory Reset is not necessary, but it is recommended. If you do it then the phone will be much faster (won't experience lag). Also wipe Cache so that you boot into a fresh ROM and avoid any issues.
Don't forget to make a backup first!

No problem. Wiping cache just after OTA supposedly helps the new software that has been installed.
I've never done it in any of my phones, not with the moto g. I also haven't faced any lag and I never factory reset or wiped my cache after OTA. But your results may vary. Better safe than sorry my friend. Good luck!

No mount. Go to your TWRP and Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, and Data first before you install this !!!
I think it is problem of ROM, because I tried to install Flyme 5.1 and still getting same mount error.

Well, then the problem is your phone... I never had any problem installing with aroma installer or Nianrom... Never! Maybe could be you or your phone or your version of TWRP... Give me some details of your phone, which model ?

After wiping data and cache, try rebooting back into recovery and then flashing. That fixed the problem for me. ?

Hi all!
It works fine and I'm not a beta tester. I was on 8.2.4.0 Stable (global).
How I installed this rom:
- reboot to recovery (TWRP 3.02)
- do a backup
- install this rom
- wipe cache/dalvik/art, wipe data
- reboot and done
In the market app type "google" and get the google installer if you want Gapps.

Hi all,
I am trying to upgrade crdroid from 7.13 to 7.14 but after clicking ok on the apply update screen it kicks me out of the updater page and does not install.
Can I just manually download the latest zip, boot into twrp and flash it over my current install instead?
Thanks
