Can't update apps or download apps with Google Play Store while ROAMING!!!! - General Questions and Answers

Dear Forum,
Since the Android 7 (Nougat) update I can not longer perform updates/downloads with Play Store when I'm ROAMING. For the rest everything works well. I have a Galaxy S7 with T-Mobile Netherlands sim only Go Unlimited NL + EU (internet out of one bundle). When i'm in my home country i have no problems.
Have already tried a lot including emptying the caches Google Play Store, Download Manager, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, Dalvik cache emptied and Google Account removed and added again.
Regards,
Michel

May be a third party app interruption such as Freedom.
Do you have freedom installed? or is your device rooted?
If so, you could download the app called total commander and navigate to /file system root/system/etc/hosts and edit the host file and delete everything then add "127.0.0.1 localhost"
Or you mentioned you emptied caches and removed google account.
Did you force stop the app, clear cache and data then uninstall google play store updates and remove google account THEN reboot phone and open google app and see if it works?
If all fails simply do a reset.

Google Play Store only Free Apps/Games

Hello everyone, I've strange problem with this phone the things is that on all of my phones Play Store always showed me paid apps, on my Xperia Z, Z1, then Nexus 5 and when I switched to OnePlus I have only free apps, what could be wrong? This is not because of my location, I even tried mock locations, fake GPS but still nothing please help :S Maybe I should install different Cyanogen Mod?
Do you perhaps have a few google accounts and have chosen the wrong one for Play Store?
Try wiping Play Store app data and starting it again.
No I have only one account, I've cleared data from both Google Play Store and Google Play Services, even disabled, then enabled then re-added account, even VPN doesn't work : |

[Q] Google Play - how to link apps?

I had to change the user on the phone without resetting it.
So I added another google account and ended up with 2 accounts. Then removed the old account. Some of the apps got uninstalled and some of the data in other apps dissapeared, which is ok.
Phone works fine. Everything functions but there's one problem.
If I open "installed apps" in GooglePlay I get nothing. No apps installed. I can install a new app and it'll show up there. but all the basic stuff is gone. So Maps, Gmail, Chrome etc are not showing up there. So obviously they won't get updated ever. I understand that I can uninstall and reinstall them and they'll appear, but
Is there a way to link all the existing apps on the phone to the Play Store so they can get updates?
The phone is rooted.

Clear Play store / services : data/cache/dalvik and you shoule be fine again.
I forgot to mention - I tried to clear data on google play services, play store and google services framework yesterday.
After a reboot opened playStore and it asked to accept the terms and still didn't show anything.

Play Store won't auto-update apps or install apps from web (SM-G900V / RR 5.8.5)

Hi all, I'm having a problem with the Play Store on my Verizon Galaxy S5 running Ressurection Remix 5.8.5 (official) and Open GApps nano. When I use the Play Store app on my phone I can install apps with no problem. However, the apps will not auto-update, even though I have auto-update enabled. I also cannot install apps through the Play Store's web interface. The device shows up with a "Last Used" date of "null" (screenshot), and when I click "Install" the app never actually installs to my phone, despite appearing in "My Library".
I'm not sure exactly when this started happening, but it might have been when I installed a modded microG to use iYTBP as explained in this thread. However, I have uninstalled microG and re-flashed Ressurection Remix since then.
So far I have done the following to try and resolve this problem:
Tested Google Cloud Messaging push notifications using com.firstrowria.pushnotificationtester (they work properly).
Disabled and re-enabled syncing for all the services on my Google account (App Data, Calendar, Contacts, Gmail, Google Fit data, People details).
Removed my Google account from Settings | Accounts, and re-added it.
Cleared data + cache for the following apps: Play Store, Google Play services, Google Services Framework, Google Account Manager, Google Backup Transport.
Tried running without a SIM card.
Performed a factory reset.
Wiped system, data, and cache/Dalvik partitions, and re-flashed the latest official Ressurection Remix.
Registered my Google Services Framework Android ID at https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/.
The only thing I haven't been able to test yet is a totally new SIM card. I'm kind of running out of ideas and starting to worry that somehow my device data may be corrupt on Google's servers. Can anyone offer advice for additional troubleshooting, or point out something I may be missing?
Thank you for your kind consideration!
Just a quick bump. I'd sure like to get this fixed!

Google apps installed through NikGapps vs Play Store

A lot of Google apps are provided both by NikGapps (in the packages and as addons) and are available in the Play Store too.
I read that some apps have missing features when installed via the store: Search doesn't support voice activation ("ok google"), Maps doesn't support timeline history etc. I'm thus wondering:
Is there a list of which extra features you get, if you install the Google Apps via NikGapps as opposed to the Store?
And I ran into an issue related to this: I flashed NikGapps Core, then installed various apps via the Store. Maps' Timeline History wasn't working for me, so I was suggested to install GMaps from NikGapps. I uninstalled the Maps from store, flashed the NikGapps' one, but now Maps it's not working at all: even after force-stopping and clearing the app's cache and storage, Maps is not showing any map at all and doesn't work.
Can I fix it in any way? Or do I need to clean-flash my ROM and start over from scratch?
Start over from the scratch.
BTW:
The apps-package called NikGApps is softwares copyrighted by Google. Take note that Google name this softwares "GMS". GMS is not open-source. Instead, Google selectively licenses it to device manufacturers or OEMs for free, read: Device manufacturers require a license from Google in order to bundle GMS.
Installing GMS-apps via Google Play Store has the advantage that the apps get automatically updated if Google deem it necessary.
