Its based off 4.2, how is it 5.0.1 if it is actually 4.2? Just to clear confusion. Make sure to post in xda as there is much more interest in the p920 there but keep here up to date to [emoji14] if this works you are GOD. Because that phone is ancient and anyone who makes it less laggy deserves a medal xD. Unfortunately i cant test it until its developed further, e.g. 3D not too much bugs, because its not my p920, its a friends who's on stock 4.0.1, wants 5.0.1 but isnt prepared for the risk yet.

May I know what the command 'getprop ro.product.wt.boardid' prints for you? The fingerprint sensor works fine on my device, but it may be due to differences in model/hardware. Just for the record, my boardid is S88537BA1.

Camera was broken because of an accidental change I made last minute :/ It's fixed locally (as it should be).
Working on GPS at the moment.

So can this possibly be used as a daily driver?(I don't use video recording, so I'm thinking of giving it a go.) BTW, can you please include the Mi Remote app as well, if it isn't available? Also, link to TWRP to install this ROM?

We're using a prebuilt kernel so we don't need any of that. Which MIUI ROM version did you come from? Could you try flashing V8.0.3.0.MALMIDG before flashing this ROM, if you weren't on V8.0.3.0.MALMIDG before? I don't plan on including the Mi Remote app. IR should work, but I haven't tried it at all. You could try with any of the consumerIR apps on the Play Store.
Other than GPS being broken (don't even turn it on if you treasure battery life) and the battery life not being as good as stock, it seems good enough. I don't have TWRP available to install this ROM, but there's CM recovery if you're fine with it.
Regarding Nougat, I'm not too concerned right now. It's quite unlikely to boot without an updated kernel (which we obviously don't have at this point in time). Either way, the saner plan right now is to get CM 13 fully working and running on nightlies, wait for some kind of kernel source, then start working on CM 14.

Wait... CM Recovery supports OpenGapps installation now? It didn't work before for me... And uh, does Xposed work?

I am on MIUI 8 Global Beta 6.11.8. Hope there will be no kernel freakouts... And, isn't the latest Global Stable ROM MIUI 8 8.0.5.0?

android is booting, but computer sees mobile only as a battery....so i cant copy anything....btw rom is very fast and working good!!!!:good::good::good:

If you're impatient like myself, you can remove the product code lines in the updater script within the zip and repackage then flash. [zip wont compress to the same size but it still flashes okay.]
ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING - ANYONE ELSE READING THIS.
I recently broke the screen on my s6 edge so I've been using the s4 ltecan which I had used the same method. Just also keep in mind you'll most likely need to flash a supported kernel (T/W8) and a callfix. (W8)
What the dev emplemented into the updater script is a safe guard for unsupported devices ie. TWRP stops the flash. And with good reason!
AGAIN ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE FULLY CAPABLE OF RESOLVING YOUR OWN SOFT BRICKS.
Ps sorry for caps, mobile formatting is iffy.

what special feature does your ROM,

Testing this out on a G925T so phone calls naturally don't work, but this is still absolutely amazing. Mobile data, wi-fi, root all work great, and everything is really smooth. If calls worked, I'd honestly start using this as a daily driver.
One thing I noticed that doesn't work: automatically turning on the phone when the flip wallet case is opened (using an official Samsung flip wallet case). But, that's such a minor issue that I could live without it.

Well, I will have to disappoint you on that. The rom is smooth and snappy BUT it is by no means as smooth and fast as the Google Pixel. Ofcourse, you can try it and report because your experience may be different

Dirty Flashed the rom on resurrection remix and working very well so far. I just have an issue with the root. I've tried to switch it on and I'd multiple times from Dev options but it doesn't work. Should i flash supersu for root?

Me too, when the setup pass through the "Just a sec.." screen it stops working.
How to workaround??
Solved, I've just remove the setup wizard from /system/priv-app by using twrp's file manager.

I will test it today and report back. Need to test whether VoLTE works or not though.

BTW, are you using LineageOS 14.1 with extra open commits?
Because there are lot of fixes in that commit.
That would help us a lot, like VoLTE and other fixes.

I am going to try this with OpenGapps as with the given one I can't able to add google account and more over there is no Google play services at all and I have to manually download from the apkmirror and even after doing that It keeps crashing. I tried whatever the fix you posted, nothing worked out for me.

Yes. Go to Default apps and set Google dialer as the default one.

For me it works just fine. Try flashing root again, whether it's lineage root or supersu

BTW, are you using LineageOS 14.1 with extra open commits?
Because there are lot of fixes in that commit.
That would help us a lot, like VoLTE and other fixes.

I am going to try this with OpenGapps as with the given one I can't able to add google account and more over there is no Google play services at all and I have to manually download from the apkmirror and even after doing that It keeps crashing. I tried whatever the fix you posted, nothing worked out for me.

It is based on purely stock Lineage OS, not with extra commits.
OpenGapps will delete some apps and thus the ROM will have many issues eg no launcher or some apps may miss.
Try flashing the ROM and the Gapps (that I gave) without booting and of course wipe everything again

-BE AWARE-
Flash the given Gapps without booting the system. Let me be more specific. Do not boot the ROM before flashing the given Gapps, otherwise you will have many issues.
Also OpenGapps will delete Pixel Launcher and thus you won't be able to use the ROM

Go to settings - apps - click on gear icon - click on 'Phone app' and select Phone.
This helped in my case.

This Part I Have Copied From Old Kernel Adiutor Mod Thread
Kernel Download Support-
I Have Modified This Unbranded Release So That Kernel Devs Can Add Support (And Override Whatever Is Included In The App Already) For Their Kernel's Downloads By Including /res/kernel_adiutor_mod/downloads.json In Their Ramdisk.
Why? Well... It Removes The Need For Commits To Add Support For The Kernels Within The App. Want Support? Add The File To The Ramdisk. Next Time When A User Flashes The Kernel, The App Will Display Them With Your Downloads.
Information taken from Grarak's Wiki
The original app required the files to either be downloads.json to be compiled into the app, or in the app's data directory. I simply added the /res directory and made the priority /res > data dir > app's resources. So the information is the same.

This File Is Static, Once Configured And Added To The Ramdisk It Will Remain Valid Unless You Remove/Move The Link File. It Will Pull This File Each Time The Dowloads Section Is opened, Pulling In Whatever Changes You've Made To The Linked File.
For An Example Of The Downloads Link, Check Any Of The Ones Included Here As Well As The Example In Grarak's Wiki. This File Will Be Dynamic, Any Changes That You Make To It Will Actively Be Pulled When Users Open The Downloads Section Within The App Once The Static File Has Been Added To The Ramdisk.�

Version 17 is working just fine on my Nexus 6 on Oreo, it is odd to see big/little core control options though. I didn't even know that my Shamu could have that option.
