[Q] Downgrade to the Android 2.1/2.2 Bootloader Samsung Galaxy S

Hello Everyone!
I've flashed the Android 2.3.3 Beta from Samsung with Bootloader. Now, I need to downgrade the Bootloader because the CM7, wich need the Bootloader from Android 2.1/2.2.
Have somebody a stock Firmware with old Bootloaders?
Thanks and sorry for my english, I'm from switzerland
install js5 through odin, that will install the right bootloaders for you
I dont recomend you CM7 into your SGS... but if you persist on it you need to :
1. Download JPU stock Firmware from www.SamFirmware.com
2. Flash it with ODIN marking REFRESH BOOTLOADER and RE-PARTITIONING.
3. Install CM7 following their instructions.

Boot to Recovery, Wipe ALL, flash your GB Custom ROM, reboot, Flash GB GApps if not included in ROM zip, Enjoy !!!!
PS. Backup your data before wiping all / make a Nandroid backup if you want to come back to the ICS ROM.
Thanks

another way you could do it is to flash stock gb with kdz
this is useful if you are sending your phone in for repairs and you don't want lg to see that you have rooted your phone
but otherwise it you could just flash anything. just remember to clear data before you flash
just flash any custom ginger.... any rom like usual... wiping data and cache and other things...

GPE Question

Hello all. I have an XT1032 currently have CM12.1 installed and I'm wondering, could I flash the stock GPE 5.1 over it without any problems? Or do I need to flash stock first?
Thanks

Flashing 4.4.4 from 5.1.1

I'm on stock rooted 5.1.1 with locked bootloader and dualrecovery perfectly working. Is it possible to simply perform a full wipe and downgrade to a 4.4.4 kitkat rom just flashing it through recovery?

Are you intending to use a pre-rooted kitkat 4.4.4? If so then yes but do a complete wipe, cache. dalvik, data and system first then flash the kitkat rom. Be sure to do a backup first.
Yes, I'd always use a pre-rooted rom. I think I'll do a backup and give it a try, cause the mobile radio bug is bothering me too much lately.

I couldn't stand the battery drain either, so I went back to KitKat and couldn't be happier with the performance. My battery life nearly doubled vs lollipop.

Can Google Dialler work on stock ROM?

Just wanted to know if there was any way of getting Google Dialler/Phone app to work on the stock ROM? It has a lot of great features simply not there in the stock ROM. Is it even possible? Otherwise the stock ROM would be fine for me as I'm considering buying this phone.
Phone app must be work without any issues in this phone. Stock phone app is good tho
