I just installed Lineage OS 13 6.0 for my Le1s x507 but after installing I lost the MTK Engineering Mode!! Please help me out, I really need it to enable VoLTe on my phone. If there's a flashable zip or an apk that would bring it back through TWRP please reply with the link.

But we can extract the stock engineering mode.apk and maybe install or flash it on our custom roms. I am saying this because today I was going through the build.prop file of Le1s with Lineage OS 13 installed and found few lines about VoLte. They were in unknown section so maybe the stock engineering mode may help us tweak those values (currently set to 1).

NO Engineering Mode or VoLTE in CM/LOS/RR ROMs (Extracting from stock ROM doesn't work, Its MTK proprietary stuff) but Engineering Mode is available in AOSP

Thanks dude.....Have you ever tried doing it, like copying all the em***.apk from the system/apps folder of the stock rom?? This might work as official thread of MTK Engineering Mode on xda says of doing so for custom roms. No one has ever tried it. I haven't tried it myself as I am too lazy to re-flash the stock rom on my device and setup everything again. If someone could extract all the em****.apks for my device it would be great for all of us with CM/RR Roms to get volte and to tweak other stuff using that method to get back the engineering Mode.(without letting mediatek know?). Or do you have any links for an AOSP Rom based on Marshmallow for my phone (LeEco Le1s). And Thanks for your concern. ✌✌

There is no thread available for AOSP anywhere, mostly no one using it, You may try RR 5.8.2 (7.1.1) or LOS 14.1 (7.1.1) in both camera is a bug

Use AICP ROM.. Very good...
AICP rom for TWRP based Custom ROM is best for LEECO Le 1s. I have tried Resurrection remix and Lineage OS, But the AICP has best performance... As per MTK Engineering mode, Just forget it. Its not available in any ROM. Hence, you cant patch the VoLTE option which works in 19s STOCK ROM
Well, I had installed CM 12.1 Official on my phone (LENOVO A2010-a MT6735M) WITH Engineer Mode functioning just as fine. But when i installed CM 14.1, It went missing, so I thought that copying the folder on /system/app and mtklog-config.prop would fix my phone and just like on the Thread Author's case, I did not fix it too. Well, I am thinking if copying Engineer-Mode-Related-Scripts would work.

Unfortunately I don't have a clue where to look to get a stock image, the S3 is only able to temp root and once it has had TWRP installed we cannot even take OTA anymore, we really need a Dev that knows what to do, it's really a mess right now.
I have been following the S3, LeEco is not releasing any offline updates or stock images like they do for other regions, S3 is a USA only build of the Le 2 so many internal workings of the software I assume are different.
I am only guessing that the TWRP we are using isn't really fully compatible, people have made backups of their phones but are unable to flash back to full stock and update through OTA.
We cannot fully unlock the bootloader like the other regions builds either.

try this to set it to 4G add/edit this line in build.prop
#this is to set default network as 4G.. Remove it if you cant change network mode from lte

You can root it through SuperSU zip flashing to get root
Got it actually this seems to be pre rooted so just enabled root access from Developer Settings

I don't think changing modem will help the problem can be with your location cuz as I've shown u in posts my speeds

beta version of flyme version but very much stable
i m not the developer of this rom,i m just sharing this rom with u guysz.
installation process as follows:
1.must have a rooted redmi note 4 (snapdragon)
2.twrp recovery installed latest version.
3.download the rom from the link below(afterclicking the link u see all the things in chinese please click on blue box and ur downloading will start)
4.download gapps for nougat
5.boot into recovery mode
then wipe data system cache dalvik cache
no need to format ur device
6.install the downloaded zip file and the gapps
7.reboot.
enjoy u have flyme os installed with nougat.

volte doesnt support otherwise a good rom for daily usage

also although the rom package is almost of 1gb but u have to install gapps for google play.

first boot may take some time....but if it is stuck on boot loop try flashing again ....

Volte enabled inbuilt... But only OUTGOING is not work... INCOMING is work great....

[EDITED] Gonna wait until the VoLTE issue gets fixed. Thanks @ZIDAN44 for porting so many amazing ROMs for Sakura specially OOS.
It's initial build ofc there will be no proper support at start
Success but my phone always suddenly shutdown automatically. How to FIX.
before flashing I am using MIUI stable v10.3.3.0 and TWRP V 3.3.

Ur saying right i downloaded all the android Q rom but in all roms LTE problem is their. Plzz fix this rom developers as fast as possible.

Reflash the software without formatting just dirty flash it may get fixed if not fixed u have to flash a zip to fix that

Which version of TWRP is correct. TWRP with system partition or TWRP with system-root partition?

Donate money to dev and he will fix it asap.
Guys like you should understand that dev is also a human like you and me and he also have a personal life instead of all of this things and most importantly he is doing this out of his own interests not for anyone like you and me. So please be sincere of what you are saying and chose your words wisely.
If you have suddenly power off
First at all, install SAR recovery. Then copy you PE 10 at USB OTG FLASH. Open Advanced wipe, and wipe all except cust, otg and micro sd. Come back to main menu recovery and click on advanced wipe again. Now you can see system_as_root. Wipe again all, except.... And install PE normally. It ok, now you phone will not reboot.
