Help sd card not support - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

My phone is s7 korean g930l. Two day ago,I buy a sdcard samsung 128gb evo plus then insert s7 in rom cook . Phone notify "this devices not support this sd card..." i touch format sdcard to error command '27 volume disk partion...
I up rom stock sdcard working greet
How to use sdcard in rom cook?. Sorry for my english

I had the same problem with this sd card and my S7 (G930F)!
The card is working without problems in some other devices even in the older S7 G930F of a workmate.
I returned the S7 to the shop because I thought it was a problem with the sd card reader of my new S7.
I got a new device but it has still the same problem.
The only solution I found was to buy a Sandisk 128Gb card, which works without a problem from the beginning.
I can't still believe that a Samsung sd card is not working with a Samsung smartphone

I had the same problem with this sd card and my S7 (G930S)

Thanks for the feedback, at least now I'll be purchasing the Sandisk 200gb card when I decide to upgrade my external storage.

any help please (flytouch 3)

Hi guys just bought my first android tablet from ebay its a 10.2" TABLET PC,SUPERPAD 3 ,FLYTOUCH 3,ANDROID 2.3, 8GB. I have been having a few problems getting the sd card to load. I have tried 4 different sd cards and none of them work. When i insert the sd card it pops up reading sd card then nothing i go into the settings then to sdcard & device storage and all that shows up is internal device storage no sd card. I have tried to use apps2sd but that doesnt work either. I contacted the seller and he told this was normal and i would have to use a file manager to locate the sd card on the tab.
I am at a loss here as i have rooted my hero and my galaxy s2 and never had a problem using my sd cards or app2sd or anything like that. I am just wondering if this means the tablet could be a clone or a fake.
I would be grateful if someone could please give me some help or information on this
Thanks
Well, the first thing I would do is attempt to follow the seller's suggestion. Can you reach the SD card via a file manager? If so, perhaps it's worth reloading your OS (though I'm not sure how to do it on your tablet).
To address whether or not it is a knockoff, the general rule is:
If the price is too good to be true, it probably is.
Here is the firmware for the tablet
Model number : Android Tab10
Android Version: V2.3 2011-12-19 (001112)
Kernel Version: 2.6.329 [email protected] #289
Build Number: FRF85B
I had same problem FlyTouch2 but i tried low speed SD card. 4GB and 2GB and after 3-4 reformat those cards worked. I format those cards in device.
Class 6 card never worked.

[Disussion] Micro SD Cards SGS4 I9505 64 Gb

Recently went from SGS3 to i9505 as Samsung has left us not much space on the 16gb version I purchased a Samsung 64Gb class 10 SDHC card .... Welcome to my nightmare. ...
1. Could not restore via CWM recovery I would always get MD5 mismatch
2. Take a photo it would just dissappear after a couple of hours
3. Folder mount or LinktoSd would not work correctly
4. Media files would not play correctly become corrupt
The CWM not restoring was the worst its kinda like playing Russian Roulette .. So I dusted my 32 Gb card off cleaned it up .....No more problems.
I've noticed alot of people seemed to face the same issues with 64Gb cards . So I thought I would start this thread to see if we can find the common denominator with this issue
Please post your experiences with SD cards here. Should I just write that one off to experience and go buy another 64gb card ??
Which format is best SDHC or SDXC
Should we format exfat ext4 or fat32
Please post any information regarding SD Cards and what dramas you have had

Hello, i just have got a Samsung Class10 not (UHS1) micro SD Card 64GB. And i put it on my Galaxy S4.
All was ok, until I passed some archives from the Internal memory to SD and Recorded some videos, then it appeared a message Saying "Empty Memory Card or Incorrect File Format" and tells me to Format it. Even it says I need to Format when i connected the Micro SD on PC (I connect it Through a Printer SD port with SD Adapter).
Now Im afraid I will lose my recordings and files.
So Should i have Formated it before giving a use?
Well the other detail is that after formatting it, looks like it cant be readed, my printer gets stuck saying Loading Photos.*
So it isn't readable on PC after formatting it on my android device?
Then I tested it on my Canon camera and it reads.
Looks like its defective. Many files got corrupted or simply dissapeared. And if I try to read via card reader on pc it says that doesnt have format and ask me to format it. Anyways it cant be formatted, an error appears.
what should i do with this card?

[Q] sd card not detected anywhere

Hi,
I have a samsung galaxy note 2 and i bought a cheap micro sd card from ebay which was a big mistake. the card is 64 gb and i bought it a month ago. it was working fine until yesterday. i got a notification saying safe to remove sd card.i went into storage settings and it says mount sd card. when i mounted it,i got another notification saying blank card and then it asks to format the card. i took the card out and did the same procedure several times but the same thing. i've got important data on the card and have no other backup. i also used the usb cable to connect it to the computer but it only recognizes the phone memory and not the card. i dont have a card reader. i have checked several threads here on xda but i cant find anything related to my problem. please help me....please its really important. thanks.

[Q] Galaxy S2 64GB SD Card Cyanogenmod Problems

Hello, thank you for reading this, in advance i am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong area, i am new to the forums.
My problem is that i have bought myself an 64 GB sd card for My Galaxy s2 I9100. This is the SanDisk SDSDQU-064G-FFP Ultra 64 GB Class 10 Micro SD Card.
Although 32gb is the officail limit for the gs2 i have formatted my 64GB sd card to FAT32, so it SHOULD work.
It works fine with my on average 45gb of music on stock rooted rom, but as soon as i try to use it in cyanogenmod i will encounter problems such as:
Freezes in the cyaogenmod file manager when trying to get into the Sd card
Apollo will either recognise some of my music or not any of it
As you can see these problems have made me have to go back to the 4.1.2 officail rooted galaxy s2 ROM, which i am very upset about.
The strange thing is it works perfectly on the stock ROM, the other strange thing is that in the cyanogenmod ROM the sd card comes up in storage options in the settings.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this please?
Many Thanks, Brendan

Lexar 128GB sd card uncompatible with Lineage OS ?

Hi,
I've recently migrated on a S7 because of this sudden great development of Lineage OS, and this as been awesome ! But I had on my previous phone a 128GB 633x Lexar sd card which worked perfectly but as I put it in the Samsung, LOS says it's corrupted. If I try to fix this by formatting as internal, I end up with a timeout and nothing else. For a external sd card there's directly an error 400 with sm formatting it to PUBLIC. I also tried with a shell and sm, and with my TWRP in every kind of way without any good result. Strange thing is TWRP recognize the card when I format it but that's all, I then cannot access it in recovery.
The card had been naturally tested on computers, on another S7 with Stock ROM and I tested other sd card on my phone which worked fine.
Help would be greatly appreciated !
Edit
I've also found that mounting the sd card with a adaptor on the USB port is working perfectly.
