How to get Google Assistant in non-pixel Android M & N devices outside USA no root
Step 1: Update your Google app from playstore.
Step 2: Change your google app language into English US & also change the language to English US in the settings app
Step 3: Clear app data of the Google app.
Step 4: Launch your google assistant by long pressing the home button & done. you'll be greeted with the google assistant.

this post requires root.. in mine it's​ not required
and i have tested this in my moto g4 plus..:good:

My phone has 1gb ram and 480x854 display.
I have tried this method but no success.
Model:-> Micromax canvas A1
Rom:-> Resurrection Remix 5.7.4
Marshmallow.

Minimum requirement for it to work is 1.5gb ram and 720p display. You should use root method on your phone to get assistant.

I don't see any work arounds just yet. Give it sometime maybe. It worked for me just by downloading GPS apk and store apk. Didn't even clear data.

Help...deleted google play services

I deleted google play services by mistake..
I tried reinstalling the apk for gms pack and i did but the google app store is not opening even after installing the google play services apk...
Im getting the following message..
Need help here but im totally novice in these things...

Thanks. Found it. I did it earlier and i was about to enter and thank gm.
I had to delete every google app then install the gms then reinstall each app including the app store which worked.

Because i was entering 'core gms' in the search and i found gms by virtue of luck earlier today when i was searching for something related and it appeared in hiapp...

How did you installed Google play services first time? You say it was deleted

I found the APK for play services online with a little search so i installed it but then my google play still not work until i found the GMS pack on hiapp.
By the way, 2 additional questions:
-My google now voice is not working although i followed the steps to activate it as usual..
-Notifications dont work unless the apps are opened. I thought with B175 update it was supposed to have been fixed. It was fixed for me for a while but now neither whatsapp nor telegram send notifications unless apps are open.

Well...thats a bit technical stuff probably...will it wipe all the data/files i have on phone??!! How easy/difficult it is to do so?! How long does it take??!!

What are Instant Apps?
Check out at Android Developers Website
How to enable them?
First make sure you meet the following requirements:​
Android Lollipop 5.0+ Device
Any Activity Launcher
Latest Play Store (Check through Play Store>Settings>Play Store Version)
Latest Play Services(Dont worry, Updates are automatically installed)
A working BRAIN!
Then follow these steps:​
Launch the activity com.google.android.finsky.instantapps.SettingsActivity
Select an account for Instant Apps
Follow the on-screen instructions
Let Google Play Services for Instant Apps download and install
Open Google Play Services(Lollipop:Through Launcher Icon, Marshmallow:Settings>Google)
Tap on Instant Apps and check if they are enabled
How can I use Instant Apps?
Search for an Instant App, say, Wish(more are given in the Android Devs Website), and see if there is written Instant. If there is, then tap on it to use it.
Why the title says "TESTING"?
They aren't available in my location. I haven't tested( and tasted) one yet.
I can't see Instant written in the card
They are probably not available in your country. Be sure to check if they work on MM+ and share the report with me.
I just enabled Instant Apps on my device. What now?
Play around with some Instant Apps and don't forget to press that Thanks :good: button.​

Huawei p10, Android Nougat, b132 FW, with play services beta activated ?
Also, works on my Nvidia shield tablet k1 with Nougat, latest FW.
I have do it on my mi2s with marshmallow but didn't work (after changes, instant apps doesn't show up on Google settings)

I successfully enabled instant apps but Google search still doesn't give me instant apps results.

Play Protect errors

Hi guys, i have P40 pro for 4 months, yesterday was all normal with sideload GMS ets... but today, Google Play Protect stopped me from any google app... i didnt make any update or something, it was just like snap of fingers... can you help me with solve this problem without restoring phone ?

I already fixed it by installing google services again without reset phone, but idk why this is happening

I think on phone for China, Indonesia region, there are no errors. I know for sure that on C301 are no errors.

See your installed version and chose the new one according to the red number. Example: Version: 21.21.16 (110400-378233385)

Accidentally updated Google play service, how to recover?

Accidently updated Google play service (ver 23) and now no Google services can be used. Tried to delete Google play service and reinstall the old version but not working. Does anyone have the similar situation? How to recover the Google services? EMUI 12 by the way.

did you have Google Account Manager (GAM) when you did the Install/Uninstall process?? If no you'll have to rollback if yes i can help
