Managed to get it on an o2 upgrade through CPW for 230. Would have like the 32GB version but 16GB should do (coming from a G2 with on 16GB and no SD).
So first concern will be screen protector.
Have you any recommendations of brands you have used or what you have currently for the phone?

I'm hoping there will be some more cases available for this phone soon, amazon currently have a couple but i really want a black one. Been considering the unicorn beetle case but there's no image of the black/black model on amazon, only the frosted/black one.
I'd be interested to hear how the tempered glass screen protector works out though

Just for reference this turned up and very happy. Standard slimline case affair.
Good fit.
Also got brotech screen protectors. They fit height well but only go to the edge of the display and the whole front width so you know.

The problem you may be posting about when you get that is that the screen on our phone has a beveled edge, either the screen protector won't make contact on the edges, or it won't cover the full screen.
It's very likely we won't see a proper full-coverage protector for the life of the device.
I just went with a custom cut one from Geek Squad, $20 well spent. (but still not edge-to-edge)

Just ordered an Xtremeguard as well with that coupon, I got the "Hi-Def Dry-Install" version. First of all, thank you for sharing it! And second, please let us know how it is when it arrives. I'm currently in Germany so my shipping will take respectively longer (18-31 Days was the suggestion with the $5.87 USPS International Shipping option, ouchhh).. But on a positive note, after the 80% off coupon the whole deal, including shipping to Europe, was only about $7-$8ish!

Got them this friday and installed it Saturday night (wet install). It fit perfectly, not as slippery as I tough it would be (I guess I got use to the naked glass) but overall I like it.
still have 1 or 2 bubbles under but I know by experience that tomorrow it will be gone.

No proper Screen Protector yet available for MXP. I bought back covers and screen protectors, all ruined in few days.
My brotec (?) screen protector os doing just fine 3 months in.
Seems most aren't the best fits due to curve of screen but covers 98% of the screen when a case is on as well so I'm happy enough.
I recently bought a back cover for my Moto X Play. It is from "Frosted Series" of Nillkin brand. The device is much more comfortable now, thanks to the TPU material used.

This case is also made of Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
I don't think I'll bother with a screen protector this time around, it's got Gorilla Glass 3 already and have never had problems with screen scratches previously, with inferior screen solutions.
I shall wing it, apart from my TPU case to protect the corners of the device which is my main damage culprit.

Few weeks ago i installed a 5 euro/dollar anti glare screenprotector and it fits perfect.The edges are rounded so you will never find a screen protector that covers the whole screen.I use the original moto x play flip shell for protection and a screen protector for the anti glare look.

Well since it isn't gorilla glass (however it is some kind of scratch proof durable glass), I would suggest playing it safe by applying a tempered glass.

I am using the Graphene armor glass Ultra HD for redmi note 3. It doesnt affect the touch sensitivity at all, it is totally clear and doesnt form any bubbles etc. Its costs a bit higher at Rs 599 but it doesnt compromise on the quality at all.

I bought one edict was unbranded from the local ship for Rs150. going great till now (3 months) not a single crack even with the phone always in pocket of tight jeans. These tempered glass that we get in India are all the same quality, just brand names are different and cost is different. The local guy who put one for me put one with some bubble underneath at first which I pointed out to him. He very casually took it off and threw it to the side on the floor and put on a new one. I was astonished at his behaviour but from his action you can guess how much a single piece would actually cost him. I believe they buy by weight lol. Anyway long story short just buy any one tempered glass you get because all are of the same quality but may be a hit or miss sometimes.

I got mine from a local supplier but you can easily find it on Aliexpress. It fits rather well and Nilkin screen protector friendly (non-full type).
I bought the nillkin flip case for the mi 5x thinking it would work as there the same phone and i think its going to fit but i there doesnt seem to be any setting about the smart case so i think i wasted some money lol

Haha. Stock Android doesn't have that smart cover feature. So, it won't show anything through that lil window. Such features can be implemented in custom roms tho or perhaps a 3rd party app if any. But generally, Mi5X and Mi A1 cases are essentially the same and should fit.

I was finally able to place an order for this phone 2 days ago and will get my hands on it tomorrow Checking online, I haven't had the best experience looking for the aforementioned accessories for this phone. The other thread on this page for tempered glasses is also pretty inconclusive. I thought this one could be a one stop shop for anyone looking for good choices with actual feedback from users. It's difficult to gauge the quality of cases/tempered glasses online because most of the images are stock, badly photoshopped or just plain bad. Any feedback in terms of images or suggestions would be much appreciated

I just pre ordered Kapaver Rugged case from Amazon for Max pro along with Mi note 5 screen protector from Mi india official website.

I had Kapaver cover (similar in design) on my Oneplus 3t and I accidentally dropped it 3 times from 4-5 ft and not a single scratch was seen on mobile , it even protects screen.
I have ordered Mi note 5 (not Pro) screen protector. For Rs 129(including Rs50 delivery charge) you will get 2 of them.
(These are not tempered glass)

In India, we have 2 models : Mi note 5 and mi note 5 pro.

Thanks I got a case from the local market in the meantime because the phone was much too slippery and I didn't want to risk waiting for the case suggested earlier in this thread. I was planning on getting on getting that one after a few weeks if I still felt like changing it. This is another option I'll definitely look into. Do post the link when your review is up

It doesn't cover led. Seems like the picture is of different mobile. My colleague got similar/same one. It's perfect fit. I have also ordered.
Goto Flipkart and type "Zenfone max pro case" without quotes. In the search results, select type filter in the left as bumper. You will see so many similar cases.

I just tried a RN5 Pro tempered glass. It covers the front camera. And probably the notification LED too. Wasted my money
Anyone tried the Flipkart SmartBuy rugged case?
I know it's early but that screen need to stay protected.
I expect Whitestone to come with a glass and leave some impressions if you get any. How the case combability is.
But more curious about alternatives that does not involve UV light and LOCA glue also.

Same here and keep Note 9 in a flip case. Prefer to spend money on case and not £40 On Whitestone solution.
I'm gonna go with the Zagg glass screen shield. Have one for my Note 8 and it works great. Full adhesive throughout so no issues with air gap and clarity is good. Expensive but I always end up buying 3 or 4 other cheaper ones that usually don't work, so might as well get a good one. Whitestone ones are good, but I hate the loca glue application process. Zagg one is way easier.

Waiting for IQ Shield or Armor Suit, the Spigen ones are in stock at Amazon now so I may order those early.
I've always had great results with IQ Shields. I like the matte, I know most don't but the HD clear ones are very good as well. I can't find anything for the Note 9 on amazon yet. Hopefully, there are a bunch of them coming out soon so I have something by the time I get the phone.

The Zagg one is okay. Just don't like the gap on the sides. But curious on that one since the curve is not... Um... As curvy as usual
My preordered unit will come with a free Nanofixit screen protector, if that qualifies. Hopefully, it's good!

I'm gonna go with the Zagg glass screen shield. Have one for my Note 8 and it works great. Full adhesive throughout so no issues with air gap and clarity is good. Expensive but I always end up buying 3 or 4 other cheaper ones that usually don't work, so might as well get a good one. Whitestone ones are good, but I hate the loca glue application process. Zagg one is way easier.

I wanted to get the Dome but saw that it doesn't play well with the Gear VR. I'll try the screen protector they're giving with preorders where I live:

Cant say for certain as I don't have the Note 9 or the protector yet, but they say it will. I have it for the Note 8 and have no issues with using it with a case.

Had great luck with Armour Suit , works decent with the spen on my note 8. Until curves are gone I have given up on glass, just look at the whitestone dome thread in the note 8 forums. I dont want that kinda hassle. Might run naked also, depends on how the gorilla glass holds up to sand.

I also ordered the Dome Glass Full 3D Curved Edge Screen Shield. I got the 2 pack so if I mess up somehow, I have a back up.
So just ordered some of Spigens products. The Liquid Air and Neo flex. Since this phone is quite big the slimmer the better I feel
