Hello,
i wanted to root my Huawei P8max (Android 6.0 Emui 4.0) with a guide from xda (http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8max/general/p8max-root-guide-d-701l-d-703l-t3269213)
I already have my Bootloader Code but in the 6. step typing fastboot oem unlock xxx (xxx=bootloader Code) i get a FAILED (remote: Necessary to unlock FRP).
So i removed the Google account in Settings and did a factory reset. In the beginning configuration of the phone, the phone didn't ask me for the old Google account. I thought that the FRP Lock is gone. But when I go to Fastboot & Rescue Mode there is still Standing "Phone Unlocked / FPR Lock".
I tried the 6.step again and i got still the same message FAILED (remote: Necessary to unlock FRP).
So i googled it and found out that i have to go to Settings and disable "OEM Unlock". But I don't have These Kind of Option in my Settings.
Then i did an upgrade to Android 5.1 Emui 3.1, i thought that i can find the OEM Unlock Option there but didn't find it.
Then i rooted my device with Kingroot which is only possivle with Android 5.1 and wanted to unlock Bootloader in the hope that the bootloader is still unlocked when i upgrade it to Android 6.0 but still in Android 5.1 i am not able to unlock the bootloader neither to install TWRP. I always get the FAILED (remote: Necessary to unlock FRP) message.
Can anyone help me to remove the FRP lock?
Thanks
Yaman

Hi Kingkea,
yes i looked there but i don't have this Option. Which Firmware do you have installed on your P8max?
you need HCU Client ... (paid tool )
sorry i don't have OEM unlock in developer Setting. which Firmware do you use? im on DAV-701LC209B203 now.
And i found out that my bootloader is already unlocked. So i jumped over to "Android 6 Flash Insecure Boot.img" and tried to do the 6. Type: fastboot flash boot boot.img.
Here i get a similar Problem like FAILED (remote: command not allowed)
any idea?
i tried to unlock my vivo y21l using adb command "fastboot oem unlock" but i get an error saying "device lock" message but my phone get identified by adb command so it's not a driver problem.is there any other way to unlock the bootolader? i just want to root my phone but not any one click methods are working so i guess it's because of locked bootloader maybe.thanks for anyone who can help.

Hi everyone,
Today I decided to root my Mate 9.
I started out with turning 'OEM unlock' on and usb debugging. With ADB installed and the huawei drivers, I began to unlock my bootloader. On the 'EMUI Huawei' homepage I filled out my device details and obtained an unlock code. I opened ADB and checked with 'adb devices' if my device was there. It was. So I continued with typing 'adb reboot bootlader'. After that I typed 'fastboot devices'. My device was still showing up. I typed 'fastboot oem unlock CODE (with the code). On my screen I pressed 'Yes'. Bootloader unlocked.
After this step I tried to flash twrp with the command 'fastboot flash recovery xxxx.img'. I couldn't continue because every adb/fastboot command keeps failing (remote: command not allowed). Now when I boot up my phone it shows 'your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted'. Phone=unlocked, FRP=locked. I can't do anything.
Device: Mate 9 L29C432B198
What did I do wrong or what did I missed? :crying:
I had this issue at first to had to redownload the original rom via the phone recovery this will fix the frp lock then u have to unlock and flash twrp 3.1.01 that is linked in the threads on here
Did it format after it unlocked?
You can try fastboot oem relock UNLOCKCODE
Then go to Settings -> Dev options -> enable OEM Unlocking
Then unlock again.
It probably will fail though if FRP is locked, but worth a shot.
Edit: It's supposed to say
PHONE Unlocked FRP Unlock
Greetings... I'm having a problem here, I don't seem to find any way of rooting my Hisense E31. I've been trying to Unlock it's bootloader using CMD fastboot OEM unlock and also fastboot flashing unlock but nothing works.. please help.
Thank you
I am having issue while unlocking bootloader on OnePlus 7pro, I have updated to the latest 12.1 recently (from 10.3.8), which I didn't really liked, so wanted to switch to Pixel Experience Plus, when tried to unlock the bootloader by running the cmd 'fastboot oem unlock' it gives the error as "FAILED remote: device cannot be unlocked for technical reason", though when I run the cmd, 'fastboot devices' I can see my phone details there..
Please help on this.
Same thing happened to me a few days back,so i reverted to 11.0.51 with msm tool.after that unlocking the bootloader was succesfull
