Reinstall google play services.
Do a Google search for:
"Google play services apk for (your specific CPU architecture)"
Then push the copy of the apk to /system/app or /system/priv-app(whatever it's original location is).
Then boot to recovery and wipe cache then reboot.

Solution for unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped
This appears to be the solution to the error message unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped.
After more than 10 long hours of beating my head against this problem, I found it is not play store that is stopping but one of its subordinate processes. That is com.android.vending. I downloaded and installed that .apk, and the plat store was fully functional again.
Of course, I had previously cleared the data and cache for the Play Store app after uninstalling all updates.
You have helped me many times. Here's hoping this helps you.
Hello. I have a Motorola Xoom CDMA Verizon - Stingray and I have installed CM 10.1 (past was 4.0.4). I followed all the steps on the CyanogenMod web page and I got the Google apps from goo.im/gapps (version 20130301). What happens is that the Google Play was not installed (only Google download manager and Google Play services). Then, I tryed to install a Google Play version 4.x and it crashes everytime I try to open it or refuse to open - message: "Unfortunatelly, Google play has stopped".
I have already cleared the cache, force stop, uninstall. Rebuild the CM 10.1 and install everything again. I tryed to enable/disable Google download manager, tryed to enable/disabled Google play services. Everything. Nothing seems to solve my issue.
Is this a known issue ? Can someone support me on solving this issue ?
Thanks in advanced for your support.
Rodrigo
Can anybody tell me how to do this? Google Play isn't supported, you can load it but when you try to run it the error message "unfortunately google play store has stopped" appears. I've seen instructions on flashing the dual core tablet to make it work but this is a single core tablet. Any help would be appreciated.
I am On ANDROID 4.0.4 in my Spice Mi-495. I recently installed Android Device Manager On My Device and when I opened it it says "Google Play services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported by your device. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance". Due to this error i tried installing google play services manually and through google play store also. but id showed an error which said " Incompatible shared ID". The error message was nt exactly this but was very much similar. I Dont know what to do. Please Help. I m on CWM recovery.

There is not much about your exact device on xda, but I found this solution for a simialr issue: [SOLVED] install failed shared user incompatible.
Maybe it works for you too.
Basically I would try to flash latest GApps for your firmware (Android) version in custom recovery ... like described here: [newest]Google Play Service for all custom rom by fifa2151.
Gapps can be found here:
[GAPPS] The Gapps Central - Consolidated Gapps [Updated 21-04-2015]
[GAPPS][2015-04-04] Google Apps Minimal Edition for Android 5.0.x & 5.1
[GAPPS][5.1/5.0/4.4] Official Slim GApps & Custom GApps
[Gapps]Download PA Gapps Mirror! [5.1.x/5.0.x/4.4.x] [Lollipop/Kitkat]
Good luck !
