Hi friends,
I'm trying to install my mobile phone operator default application "vivibici": https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.softecspa.coopappinbici&hl=it
I've not any Google applications (GAPPS) installed onto device. And I think this could be the reason of the problem.
Could you suggest If there is a possibility to force the installation or some other way to install it (and make it executable) ?
Here the apk
many many thanks!

Hey guys, I just installed Cynogenmod 4.2.15 on my Mytouch. I tried to update Google Maps however it wouldn't allow me, it kept generating a "package not correctly signed". I heard that by deleting the map app from it's install folder (From the system > apps folder) then trying to download and install it from the market would solve the problem. However, it did not and now I don't even have maps at all. I tried to download the .apk file and installing it then but I just got an error saying "maps could not be installed on this phone".
Anybody know how to get the latest Google Maps to install? Thanks in advanced

you can try flashing the gapps package and then individually uninstalling the parts you dont want from system apps by using a file explorer such as ES file explorer...
but as far as i know to run the play store you need to login to google account.
The component it needs is the Google services framework. You cannot use the play store without it.
However....you can disable the parts you don't like. It involves more than just deleting apps you don't want though. You have to disable stuff in the Google services framework to really shut the unwanted components off.
Check the thread in my signature. Go to the 2nd of 3rd post where I have a list of questions. Find the one about wake locks caused by the Google services framework and check out then link in that question. That will tell you how to edit the Google services framework and get you started on that process.
If you follow that guide exactly as I have written it you will end up with basically only the play store working and all other Google apps shut down. It nearly eliminates Google wake locks and might have a positive impact on battery use as a result. The only catch is that your WiFi and data icons will always be grey. They won't change color when connected .
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.
Dear All,
I bought Lenovo pha plus ( ROM versionis PB1-770N_S000101_160701_PRC ). It has only LenovoStore (in Chinese) to download the apps which really sucks Smiley Sad. It dont have pre-installed any google app. I badly need these google apps because without google maps the mobile is really useless. I have been tried these methods already:
1. Cleared cache in google app store etc and restart mobile.
2. Tried different versions of google app store and google play services.
3. Tried gapps also
Note: For some reason i dont want to root the mobile because firstly i am noob, secondly on the root mobiles our office attendance app dont work.
Bump! Please anyone could suggest. Thanks in advance.
One of the ways is install custom recovery so you can flash the GAPPS.
This is tutorial for installing TWRP in lenovo phab plus. Install TWRP
After that you can download and flash compatible gapps with your device here
You must think to do root on your phone to have super user thene install all google play services including play store ...

Did you ever figure out how to install google play on the phab 2 plus? I'm having the same issue. None of the google apps I've downloaded will work. Plz let me know If you found a way to fix it!
Just download stock rom and install fresh android. All process is very simple.
If you dont find, I will upload again...

You can use Opengapps for example
Hello there,
I have an old XPOD tablet, The google apps in it are not responding well and i get errors like, (Google Play services have stopped working). I tried rooting the tablet with Kingo root and deleted the google apps and install the recent ones but i get the same error ((Google Play services have stopped working)).
I cannot flash the Gapps package in it using ADB and Fastboot because it doesnt have a bootloader.
Is there any way that i somehow flash the GApps into it to probably make it work again? Or any other relevant solution that could help me get away from this issue.
