Change color - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am running LineageOS 14.1. I want to change the system color from light blue to dark blue. I used Pixel UI Substratum to change it, but only some things changed. I have attached a picture. Is there any way to change it completely, or is that only possible with CMTE?

You can try other themes like "swift black".

Turns out that was the problem. I switched out Swift Dark for Pixel Dark and it had the option to change color. Anyways, thank you for replying.

Color inversion is serious sick.It doesn't just change the colors inside but on the whole display.

Why don't you use BluEmerald Substratum theme from here on XDA:

It's seems nice, but I am content with my new Pixel Dark Theme in Substratum. BluEmerald doesn't seem to support as many apps as Pixel Dark, but I may still try it out.
As a matter of fact, I might leave Swift Dark as main theme and apply the blue color of Pixel Dark since Swift Dark is themed on more apps.

Zip the brings some Holo Blue back?

I prefer the holo blue accents in the settings menu over having everything white/grey and some ROMs already come with everything whited out. I'd like to add back the holo blue.

Gravity Box, which is an Xposed module, allows you to add color to the icons in the status bar. The default is the holo blue but it can be set to anything.

Thanks but it's not a ROM I'm after. What I'm looking for is a way to restore the holo blue accents in the settings menu. I don't find the all white UI very appealing and rather confusing.

That ROM is all holo blue stuff. Jelly bean style.
Otherwise, good luck.

Wow that was quick. Waiting for OB11.
I think the blue color (judging by the screenshots) is still the untouched color from OxygenOS, not from the Pixel.
Is it also possible to mod the circle user icon in the quick settings to the same blue?
After checking the hex codes:
Pixel colors
grey #2D2D2D
blue #5184F3
Your colors
grey #2A2C2E
blue #2196F3
Its possible to make status bar on settings darker?

OB11 v2:
- Brightness slider still has the old blue
- settings app icons have the correct blue
- grey color is correct in settings and notification shade
Enabling a darker status bar inside the settings might be hard to achieve?!
I like the new blue! Thanks for modding.

By restoring your backup.
I for example simply backuped both apk files from the system folder,
so I can restore them from within TWRP file manager incase something goes wrong.

@Nishidh
Will you continue working on this mod?
Fixing brightness slider color and I also noticed the volume pop-up dialog is still using the old system colors.
Please ignore post.
On 4.0.2 volum pop-up is still default from oneplus and brightness slider is also default but brightness slider doesn't matter not noticeable
images?

Thank you so much for this. Honestly I don't like the pixel blue and grey combination much but its hundred times better than the crap oxygen colors. Thanks again.
P. S. Is it possible for you to get the stock nougat color combination.

Material/Pixel Navbar [Samsung Oreo] [Rootless] [No Substratum]

This is a quick guide to get Material/Pixel like Navbar.
This is not a perfect replica since there won't be any animation.
Material Navbar:
1. Go to Samsung Theme store and search for Material Dark (Android 7+)
2. Download it and Install it.
Pixel Navbar:
1. Go to Samsung Theme store and search for PixelizeD
2. Download it and Install it.
If you see no change in Navbar:
*For Oreo Only*
1. Go to Settings
2. Go into Display
3. Select Navigation bar
4. Enable current theme
This, is, awesome! Thanks a million.
It turned my menus dark tho, any chance of a lighter theme?

Android Pie Purple lockscreen ?

Hi,
Do you also get a purple effect while on lock screen after pie update? And it goes back to normal only while unlocked ?
I'm thinking about reset the phone already...
That is an android pie feature.
It depends on the wallpaper main colour. Try to change it and you will see that it changes.

It's implemented by HTC, found a wallpaper that it doesn't happen.
I use the day/night automatic change wallpaper feature.
During the day, I have configured one with red and orange colours so the effect is red/pink.
During night I have configured one with blue and the effect is blue (light blue, in fact).
I think is quite cool this effect.
i don't get it can you show me a video of this effect

Try the following atachments "tech" as your lockscreen wallpaper and the other one(Harley Quinn) as your "desktop" wallpaper.
Then lock your phone... You'll see it get purple..

Question Remove the darkness from statusbar?

I still didn't switch to the P7P, I noticed yesterday that statusbar is dark like in older Android phones which is a deal breaker for me who like to enjoy landscape wallpapers.
Can you easily remove this dark tint?

Maybe they saw someone using a different launcher and it had shadow on it.
The app "Nacho Notch" also sets the status bar black for those that don't like the camera cutout (Notch) in the wallpaper.
Nova will allow you to make the status bar black if you want.
