Hi everyone!
Did someone of who owns the Honor 8 Premium (L19) received the upgrade to B380 Nougat via OTA?
I know in my country, Italy, many of L09 are receiving it, but for me still nothing...
I also did rollout to MM to kinda "force" it but now it is not finding me anything, neither B380 nor former B360.
Does anyone have same issue as me?

I did a rollback to MM, then to B131 and after updating HiCare I received B380.
That was my relocking process

I just received my Honor 8 from Gearbest with the stock firmware FRD-L09C636B130.
The issue is that doesnt matter which region i choose the OTA updater doesnt find anything. Its frustrating since everyone else is already running Nougat.
Does anyone know how to force the update?
PS: I currently live in New Caledonia, which is a French territory on the Pacific.

Be sure to update the HiCare app to the latest version. Then you will receive the Nougat update in 1-2 days. I received mine the day after purchasing the phone and upgrading HiCare

hi. i just had same situation and solved it with "HW firmware finder" . i cant assure you anything but you should try . so far Nougat and emui 5 is great.
64gb , bought from gearbest, so i thInk we were In the same situation.
firmware : B130 → B360. dont forget to backup your data.
you can install an app called hw firmware finder on google play store. you dont need bootloader unlock or anythIng like that. basically app helps you to OTA update manually. there is an thread about how to use this app. so you can fInd it easily

I am looking to update my Mate 8 (NXT-L09C316B150) to Nougat. I am currently on EMUI 4.0.2.
Firstly, is the update out for this device? If so then where would I be able to get it if not via an OTA?
Secondly, if there is no update is there any other way to upgrade? Such as switching the phone to be a different version of NXT-L09 (Like a different region so that it does receive the update?)

Hey Guys! I own my 6x since a week and i am still on an older update. The moment when i connected my phone to the internet i recieved an update to emui 4.1.3. I think it's weird that i did not recieved the nougat update that is published around march. I am living in hungary and i can't find another threads for the issue so guys if if there is a solution please write it down for me. If questions accure notify me then i will anwser it.

You won't get the update unless,your manufacturer or your mobile carrier offer the update. Not all devices get updates, some never get updates at all. Just because there is a new android version available does not mean your device will get it. That is not how it works.
Check with your device manufacturer or your mobile carrier to see when/if your device will get the update.

or-can I just update to oreo with any C rom?

Nope, hasn't received it yet. Last update was April 5th I believe. Pretty lame and pathetic if ask me. Huawei wants to break into the US market they are going to have to start doing better than this. Had it to do over with, I'd got something else besides this phone.

There is only a beta release for our c567 so far, to install any of the ones for other regions you're going to have to unlock your bootloader, rebrand, and install that Oreo using the steps in other threads, our mate 9 c567 Oreo should be rolling out as an OTA update in a few weeks so I'd be patient and wait a while, I installed a different regions ROM and want really happy with it at all.

Ok guys, I bought my Honor 8 in Italy and I am still on B394 update with August 2017 security patch.
Huawei Firmware finder shows last update B403 March 2018.
What do you do? Do you wait for official one or do you download it yourself via FF?

I advice you to wait for IMEI Batch, when your turns arrive you'll be notified about it. I faced the same problem but after some times i got the OTA and now i'm on B401 waiting for B402 February update. If you're rooted maybe you can try some other methods described here on xda
Only go for updates approved with IMEI in firmware finder. I got my device to B401 from B394 with the DNS thing.

Did you register a Huawei account?
Yes, I got two updates in past.
Just pull the trigger. Believe me, B403 is a solid update.

Update availability is not only related to country but also to IMEI batches.
I'm in France, yesterday someone told here he got b402 in France, I did not get it yet, I will probably get it within next hours/days when my IMEI turn has come.
In FF, we kinda see the future : b403 will be installable in about one month, as 402 became installable in the beginning of March, b401 in the beginning of February...
