And new Widget (now 9 widgets)
Any request to improve the program?
A simple app for monitoring and optimizing your battery, it provides battery information which allow you to control your power consumption, it comes with two widgets that can be set to your home screen, the widget background can be set to full transparent, the app allows you to display colored battery level on status bar with an option to hide it.
The app also estimates time left for charging or discharging modes, the time is estimated according to your power consumption; therefore, it will keep varying based on current power consumption.
The estimated time will not appear immediately, the app needs some time to monitor your power consumption to be able to estimate the time left.
And now with the latest version, you can enable your own power saving mode and optimize your power consumption with the optimization feature. both features are adjustable from settings
Features:
The app displays the following information:
- Battery level with number and battery icon.
- Battery status.
- Battery temperature in both “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit”.
- The estimated time left for charging or discharging modes.
- Battery technology.
- Battery health.
- Battery voltage.
- Charging electric current for wide range of mobile phones.
- Button takes you to system battery usage screen.
- Customizable Power Saving Mode
- Battery optimization feature, you can adjust optimization options from settings
The app has setting screen that allows you to set:
- Temperature unit.
- Widget transparent background.
- Show battery level in status bar.
- Power saving options
- Battery optimization options
Localized to English, العربية, Português, Polski, Português(Brasil).

How to update your phon
Extend battery life with tips and customizable saving modes from BatteryGuru
Battery Guru monitors, show estimates and helps you change your charging habits with useful tips to prolong battery life and increase its lifespan by 200%.
Designed to keep the battery in the best condition and bring it a healthy life
Taking care of battery health and optimize its performance
Showing the health of your battery
Batteries have a limited lifespan. Every time you charge your device, it wears out the battery, lowering it's total (design) capacity.
Now, you can boost mobile battery life, spend less time with your Android device attached to its battery charger and get more out of your mobile life without constant concerns about the low battery level.
Use Battery Guru to find the fastest charger and USB cable for your device. Measure the charging current (in mA) to find out! The app will show you max current achieved while charging.
Easy to use application interface, you just need to download and launch. The application will do the rest.
Info
- Section dedicated to battery stats including charge/discharge percentage and estimated time for full charge/discharge.
Display information about battery: voltage, temperature, capacity, and battery health status, battery charger history...
The section also provides info about App statistics, awake and deep sleep time of the device.
- Charging records are also part of the info section, this will tell you how much you take care of the device battery is your charging healthy or not. Charging records also have advanced info to show you charging history for the last 3 months.
Protection
- At the protection section you can set reminders for battery temperature and charging limits. As we know those are two unwanted factors that degrade our batteries. Use suggested protectors prolong your battery life and keep it in nice condition.
Health
- Health section contain useful tips for saving our beloved battery, everything is well described and "human-readable".
Save
- Save section contains saving modes, two of them are already managed and unchangeable, while one remains customizable. Manually managed mode automatically reads the device current state.
Doze
- Save more battery with fine-tuning Doze on your device. Make your device go idle faster which means less power consumption while the screen is off.
Enabling aggressive doze to make default doze behavior aggressive much as possible and reduce power consumption, doze optimization will set perfectly optimized parameters to maximize your battery life. Well configured doze will make your device sleep like a baby, this is definitely the best and the most perfect battery saver.
To use Doze features without Root you need to grant it DUMP permission via ADB on your computer by executing this command:
adb -d shell pm grant com.paget96.batteryguru android.permission.DUMP
You also need to grant WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission:
adb -d shell pm grant com.paget96.batteryguru android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
Battery Guru doesn’t require root, access to privacy-sensitive information, and won't show false info to users.

Congratulation on your new app. I Just installed it on my new, Onn 8, Android 9 tablet. Since no one that I am aware of has reported this, I will. I first noticed this on new versions of Lspeed on my older Nextbook Ares 8A, Android 6.0.1 tablets. It is also present on the New Onn 8 tablet and in the new install of the 5 beta on it. The bug is in what I think is called the nav bar. One can only vaguely see the back, home and recent buttons, to the point of almost not realizing that they are even there. I did not report this in the past on lspeed, because I thought someone else would as it is quite obvious on those devices, Android 6 and 9. I am not sure what version of lspeed that it appeared. Apparently it exists in BatteryGuru, also. What did you change that caused this? I never like, or use dark themes, so maybe this is is why you missed this bug. I guess I am a minority. Most say that light themes are hard on their eyes, I find dark themes hard to read, but I am 61 and use no line, progressive bifocals, so maybe that is the reason. I just tested and as I suspected, in dark mode the nav bar shows up just fine in both apps. I may be a minority, but i past versions of lspeed this was not a problem.
Thanks
