I dont know is this maybe stupid question,but i need to ask because if something goes wrong i dont have how to restore software.Is posible to install XPOSED on htc one e8 single sim version? is just regular install enough?

Yes possible, but you must be rooted.

I have E8 single Sim and Xposed 2.6.1. KK 4.4.4 and I can confirm that everything is working.

E8(5.0.2)=> XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 + flash xposed-v79-sdk21-arm.zip

Hi guy, I have htc one e8 single sim "mec_ul". Currently I have ICE ROM Installed, but seems a camera flash light and nfc are crashed. I'm looking for once stable ROM. I had TWRP 3.0.2 istalled and ICE rom on Android 6.0.1 SENSE 8.
I'd tried many ROM but ervery rom that I'd tried was not work for stable e.g camera issued. I found VIPER ONE M8 ROM on XDA, I has downloaded into sdcard but when I uses TWRP to Install it maybe zip file of ViperOneM8 corrupt! How to install ViperOne for My htc one E8 single sim? please help me. Thanks so much.

Here I am with a wonderful device, yet history seems to be passing me by.
I do not know a lot about rom and firmware, but as it seems the phone is a cheaper copy of the M8.
And though you can find so many roms for the M8 and lots and lots of updates with all so many choices. it seems we are stuck with the E8 to one rom or two.
I have M8sw and I installed the Indian TWRP backup rom 4.4.2, every one else has the 4.4.4 or even 5.
every one has options except the E8 people are almost optionless
please Developers
Help us out here.

It doesnt help if you cry. I tried asking on the m8 forums.
IT.DOES.NOT.HELP.
I was told to start the development if I could. But considering the amount of time i have left for daily activities, this looks unlikely.

I have the M8Sn and I think I'm the only one with this model here.
As I am not able to do the ROMs myself, I think I am stuck to 4.4.2 for good.
Can't find any announcement for an upgrade to lollipop for my model... :crying:

Is it possible for M8 rom to be used on E8 since the only difference between these two is the build quality? Like is there some way the rom will detect that its a E8 and fail to install?

Nope that will not work in the way u r expecting
As some porting needs to be done...
Like camera modules etc..
So no it won't work!!

Hey. The M7 was a flagship, and had a great reach. The E8 on the other hand is a region specific phone with hardly any reach. And all devs prefer the M8 which is just a bit costlier. If a dev or two would get this device, we'll see custom roms for this beauty too, otherwise it's just not gonna happen.

I work on port best rom for m8 Android Revolution HD by mike1986 to E8. If i boot system than open new thread on Android Developer section.

What kind of E8 do you use? Single SIM? What Model?

E8 M8SX but is compatible with M8ST. Now i have 4.4.4 from M8ST.

Has anybody got euro version of CM14 thats stable?

It would mean allot if someone could upload a rom cm14 euro for the htc one a9 please
