[HELP] Call forwarding disabled - Xiaomi Mi 4

Hi, as shown in the screenshot Call forwarding has been disabled (or not working ?) and I can't make any calls anymore, it just says call ended when I try to make a call, and no one can contact me.
It just stopped working like that which makes me think it might be a setting (and not hardware) somewhere but after looking through Google for a week I didn't see anything to fix this, hopefully you can help me
I'm using a Xiaomi Mi4 LTE (China Telecom) on MIUI 8.2 Stable (changing ROM doesn't affect the problem)

Video call, call waiting problem with Samsung Galaxy S4 (SHV E300L)

Hello, I have got one Korean version of Galaxy S4 (SHV E300L), with U+. I am using it on a different country.
Everything works fine, except the video call; and I can't find any option to turn on call waiting or call barring (option is not available inside Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings).
When I try to make a video call, it returns this message: "video call not supported in international roaming area".
Any idea how can I fix these issues? I am running on Android 4.3
Also there is a mark on the top area of the phone's desktop, which I don't understand. Please check the image (marked in red color):
Can anyone please help me about this?
same problem
hy
i have the same problem on shv e25l
Did you find any fix for it????
thanks
SHV-E470S
Hello, don't mean to revive a seemingly dead thread here, but there's still much life to this question and I agree the problem needs fixed. I have a Korean version of the S4 as well, the full-featured LTE-A (SHV-E470S) model. I cannot make video calls or use HD voice, and I am on Straight Talk in Terre Haute, Indiana. I'm unable to disable roaming as well, the system menu option is grayed out and I've read from some sites on Google that turning off roaming can POSSIBLY fix the issue.
Has anyone made any significant progress that they can share about this?

T-Mobile 5.1.1 and broken Google Voice

How many of you experiencing this too? I literally just switched back to Android specifically to use Google Voice, ported my number back over to Google, bought a Note Edge and upgraded it to 5.1.1 immediately (stupid). Found out GV outgoing calls are broken.
This is a known issue and google says they're working on it (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/voice/urpXxSfS-kE) but it's definitely irritating.
Yep..same thing here!

I am using GV to make weekly International calls, better to pay $0.07/minute than T-Mobile's $1.25/minute!!!
But since 5.1.1 it's broken....Here is the solution (in the mean while), that I have been using - and it's working again.
Say you want to call the number: 000-123-4567
Say your own GV-number is 111-222-3333
Reprogram the contacts you need to call from GV, with the number in this format:
111-222-3333 , , your-passcode# , 2 , 000-123-4567#
This will dial your own GV number, will prompt you for your passcode followed by #-sign, Option 2 will allow you to make calls, followed by #.
Each ',' is a few seconds delay - I have not tried it without the delays, but it also makes it easier to understand (for us humans).
Ya, no thanks. That's just a huge hassle.
Same problem here Google Voice does not work on the Note 4
I've got the same problem with the Note 4 (not the Edge version). I'm thinking this is an Android 5.1.1. problem. I never had this before I did the upgrade to 5.1.1.
What I see happening is this:
- You dial to make the call.
- I have Google Voice set up to ask me each time
- While the prompt for Google Voice is on top of the dialer, I see the dialer is already making the call.
So the dialer is not waiting for GV before making the call.
I'm trying to find out how I can go back to the previous version of Android, but so far it looks like I'm not able to do this.
I have a t-mobile Note 4. Hopefully t-mobile will release their 6.x version and that will fix this issue.

Unable to receive calls

Hello,
I bought a mi mix 2s some time ago and it's currently running the china rom because I can't unlock the bootloader the next 10 days.
First of all I can call other people and I can use mobile data. Also I'm able to receive calls if the sim is in my old oneplus one.
Now to my problem:
Today I realized that there must be a problem if someone calls me but I couldn't really figure out under what circumstances the issue appears.
However, I could figure out the following:
If I'm on wifi calls work most of the time
If I'm on 4g I don't receive calls most of the time
If I'm on H+ I receive calls most of the time
If the phone is locked I either get the call or the mailbox answers
If I don't get the call there are two things that happen on the phone that is calling me:
If it's a samsung theres just one loud beep and the call ends
If it's a LG there are fast beeps (similar like if the phone is busy)
Thanks in advance for any help
Flatric
EDIT: Just figured out that the problem is that the phone takes too long to switch from 4g to 3g since VoLTE is not supported by my carrier... Found some guys in a forum who complained about the same problem but with a oneplus phone... I'm still open for any ideas that could fix that Maybe someone from germany here who uses O2/Eplus network and got the same problem?
EDIT2: http://en.miui.com/thread-935378-1-1.html Used this to enable VoLTE but can't test if it's working until tomorrow
Fixed it by the way by enabling VoLTE with the miui dialer code explained here

Poco F2 Pro not sending sms (most of the time)

Hi there,
I've been searching the internet for someone with a similar problem but nothing helped me.
My phone : POCO F2 Pro 8GB version
What's happening?
The phone functions normally except for text messages. Most of the time they are just stuck on sending . I've had some success by clearing all data from Google Messages app , uninstalling updates and rebooting the phone but this is just a temporary fix (sometimes works for 20 minutes and then stops but most of the time it just doesn't help).
Things I tried:
- Changed the SIM card
- Put another SIM into the phone from a different carrier (worked but I only tried it for like 10 minutes)
- Tried a different messaging (Textra) , this worked for a limited time.
- Looked for anything off with the SMS Center Number but it's set correctly
What I noticed :
When logging into Mi Account, it tries to send a verification message but always fails . I logged out completely from the account but nothing.
I know it's not from the carrier since it worked fine with my old phone (S9+).
Could this be hardware related?
Thank you very much
Did you try to move SIM from Slot 1 to Slot 2, and then back? Redmi Note 5 had this issue for me, from time to time I had to change slots...
So far, on PocoF2 I don't have any problems with SMS.

This might be a different topic altogether ... I have strictly this topic, I can not activate my SIM card with MiCloud services. To activate it, the SIM tries to send a SMS to a +44xxx number and my carrier does not have a commercial relationship with +44xxx network, so the SMS is restricted by my carrier and not sent. Other than that, my SMS sending/receiving works fine.
Update : look like my phone sends texts normally without any problems to specific numbers like my work phone
Hi. I have the same issue. The problem is existing only when the VOLTE service is enabled. Try to move on 3G only or just stop Volte under 4G and it will be ok. Unfortunately Xiaomi are using some specific technology for volte sms sending and the your network provider does not support it. The phone is trying to send SMS through SS7 instead of SIP protocol when VoLTE is enabled. I'm trying to find a hidden menu where I can eventually switch or choose a protocol but without success.
I have the same problem too. did you find the solution?
Disable the chat feature in the messages app. That worked for me.
unfortunately it does not help, only after turning off the volte and restarting the phone it starts sending

Device: Poco X3 (indian)
Hi, i just upgraded my phone from vivo y19 to Xiaomi Poco x3 Pro. One thing i noticed about this phone is that, it works fine in almost every department except for one thing. The SMS messaging. I notied that whenever i send sms to some one, it takes too long to send and the result is they keep receiving my text multiple times. Sometimes 10x somtimes 12x, and its really annoying especially when i send sms to my higher ups at work. My network carrier has good connection, all apps are updated, even the firmware is up to date, but the problem still persists. I already tried using 3rd party sms app, hoping to fix the problem but its still the same. Already tried factory reset but the problem is still thesame..
anyone having the same issue? Im kinda frustrated lately because of this..
I have different issue on Poco M3. SMS works except that *some* incoming messages are eaten by MIUI and never arrive in inbox. Have disabled chat option and spam protection, tried with Textra too. Biggest problem on that issue: it is not reproducable, every time we try make some test it works. Have disabled VoLTE now, not sure it has any effect

This is not the right place to post, the problem may be similar but the phone is different.
There is a thread for your phone here or here .
if you want help it is necessary to give basic information such as rom etc ...
And the first thing to do before tinkering is to reset the phone.
I don't think phone model matters as this is some issue with MIUI 11 and 12 (also on Poco F1 and M3)

Question OP9+Google Fi+intermittent outgoing call issue

I have an unlocked originally-T-mobile OP9, with Android 11, and I have an issue with Google Fi that I couldn't find online references to.
Every so often, I can't make calls: the dialer starts to dial and then stops within a fraction of a second. A reboot always solves the problem, but then the problem comes back eventually. Data works fine.
Update: I can't receive calls in this state either.
I tried using the beta Google Phone dialer, and maybe even some third-party dialer, and the issue is the same.
killing the com.android.server.telecom:ui task solved the problem without a reboot, and now I have a Tasker shortcut to do that on my home page, but that's not really a viable solution given that incoming calls don't work when the issue happens.
Does someone maybe have a version of Telecom.apk from a different firmware that I could try?
A bit more experimentation: When the phone is in the bad no incoming/outgoing calls state, if I turn off mobile data, or switch it to 2G, everything works again. Then when I switch back to 5G, calls don't work (but data works). Is it a VoLTE issue?
Bump... Am I really the only person on XDA using a TMO OnePlus 9 on Google Fi? Is anybody using an international OnePlus 9 at least? I might want to change to international firmware then.
Well, I think I've solved it by installing international firmware. My guess is that the problem had to do with VoLTE support in the T-Mobile firmware.
