Stuck on "Your Device is Booting Now...." screen - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been following somboons' guide to root. The first time my phone went into TWRP, I tried to root, but it gave an error saying device not found so I reboot the device. I tried it again, but this time, it's stuck on that screen. I can't even turn off the phone. Any help?

You can't get into recovery right? And.. You have flashed recovery?

Actually, I can enter fastboot. When i try to get into recovery mode, I get into a screen that says "Huawei eRecovery". There's a button that says "Download latest version and recovery", should I do that?
EDIT: Rebooted the system from eRecovery, everything's OK somehow.

[Q] Can't unlock bootloader anymore

Tried to update my i9023 to ICS with a OTA update. It starts unpacking the firmware but somewhere it stops and gives a triangle with an exclamation mark. Tried to reboot but then its stuck on the google logo. I can acces the bootloader but when i try to unlock the bootloader to flash a other rom or CWM the phone hangs on the 'unlock bootloader' screen(where to choose yes or no)
Any solution to this problem???
I've got exactly the same problem. Restored to stock. It said there was an OTA update, I applied it. It tried to reboot and I'm stuck there. Can't boot into anything, stays at google logo indefinitely(greater than 24 hours) or I can go to the bootloader screen, recovery takes me to the triangle/exclamation and if I hit the power button then it'll reboot to the boot loop. If I try to unlock the bootloader with fastboot(Mac and Windows) it'll get to the yes/no screen, I choose no it bootloops, I choose yes it freezes indefinitely. What'd I do wrong? More importantly, how do I fix it?

[Q] Rooted, bad recovery, and stuck in bootloop

I scoured the forums, but have not been able to find out what I can do to solve my problem. So here it is.
I rooted my phone (to play around with some settings, what have you) and flashed TWRP recovery onto it. I got an error msg when booting up, so I decided to push an original recovery back onto the phone, because it wouldn't go to TWRP. I followed a guide (which I can't find now) to push back a stock version of recovery and it failed. My phone would boot normally just fine, but when I tried to go to recovery it would loop.
The OTA update came today, and dumbass me pressed continue (not thinking) and now I am stuck in a boot loop, and cannot get out of it.
Cannot get into recovery.
Cannot get into download mode.
Got any ideas?
Thanks
Same Problem
I have pretty much the same problem. Please help!
well without recovery/download mode working or the phone being in fastboot mode there really isn't much that can be done, you can always try to claim on warranty
boot loop
So, let me get this straight. If it failed when you tried to install the stock recovery, then you still have the TWRP recovery right?
I ran into a boot loop problem earlier when I tried upgrading TWRP. I just couldn't access my recovery so here is what I tried:
Code:
Turn your phone off.
Press volume down and power button until the LG logo comes on screen
Let go of both buttons
Hold the volume down and power buttons again until you see the "hard reset screen"
Press power once and then power again to confirm. The screen says it will reset your device but it will not as long as you have a custom recovery installed.
Your custom recovery should appear on screen.
Try the steps above and see if you can get into a recovery. Once you do maybe try resetting. Hope that helps.

Phone broken?

My phone keeps restarting. Black screen -> Warning bootloader unlocked -> Black screen... etc. I also cannot access the recovery, gives me a black screen only.
Is the phone broken, or is there something that can be done?
What phone do you have? What caused this to happen?
XT1032
Installed PhilZ Advanced Recovery. Made a backup, rebooted devices, and stuck in this bootloop. When enter Bootloader to get to recovery, all i get is a black screen.
Can't even shut the phone off, because it keeps restarting.
Flash Philz again but don't reboot the phone. When Philz flashes successfully, use the phone's volume buttons to go to recovery from fastboot.
The problem here is i cannot get the phone to show up as an attached device, unless i do it "manually" where i reboot into bootloader from the standard android/phone interface.
You need to be in fastboot mode on the phone to flash Philz. Re-booting to bootloader from Android is fine.
After a little tweaking and some work, I managed to get it working.
Thank you for your help.

[Q] Hardbricked?

Background info: (My volume buttons broke while i repaired my phone screen after dropping my phone)So i tried flashing a new rom using twrp, but the install somehow botched (it would always go back into recovery). So i wiped everything, and tried flashing a different ROM, again, a botched install. I wiped system, and decided to flash the official version of twrp through fastboot (i had multirom version on), and then in my panic of bricking my phone, i forgot that i had no ROM installed and no way of getting into recovery. and put "fastboot reboot". (oh yea... i just noticed i flashed the oldest version of twrp.. not the newest... god... this is probably why my phone is hardbricked... :'( )So i was stuck with no way of getting into recovery to flash a ROM onto it. So i read online that if i plug in my device, eventually it would return into recovery. I plugged in my phone, and got a "Low battery" warning, but every now and thenit would go into recovery. I tried "adb push *RomFileName*.zip" and it would start working, but after a while, twrp would just disappear, and i would be shown the "low battery warning" Then i tried adb sideload while the phone was in twrp, and it completed, but when i clicked "reboot system" at the end, i was shown the "Low battery" and would return to twrp,, but now it would only show the "Teamwin" splash screen, and it would show a black screen after that, with the "Teamwin" screen flickering everynow and then.
Ps: "adb reboot recovery" and "adb reboot bootloader" both cause a "low battery warning", and then back into the flickering twrp splash screen.
Am i perma****ed?

Stuck on Firmware Error screen. Can't boot into recovery or download mode.

Cannot boot into download or recovery mode
Hi, my samsung Tab2 is stuck at the "Firmware upgrade encountered an error" screen. No matter which combination of buttons I press, I cant get into download or recovery. I've tried flashing with Odin, it shows successful but nothing has changed. I tried the ADB command but it says "Waiting for device". When I plug in the tab to the charger (or when I connect it to the PC) it comes on automatically with the "Firmware upgrade encountered an error" screen. Is it a power button thing or is it something else ?
Thanks.
Sachin
Flash the CWM recovery via Odin, and restart. now you can go to the recovery mode and install ROM from sd card.
Dont try to flash any other recovery file, working with CWM only.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I've already tried that, Odin shows it is successful but when i restart, nothing seems to have changed, the same upgrade error comes back.
