Hello XDA! I'm pretty new to rooting, flashing, etc. and I have a question for you guys. Today I successfully downgraded my LG G3 D852 (Telus) from MM to LP - 1st step from installing different ROM (LOS). I want to install TWRP recovery menu, but on their website there is only one for LG G3 D852 (Bell Rogers). So I'm going to ask here, if this recovery menu is going to work on the my exact model-carrier phone. I really appreciate any help you can provide!

I tried this today with broken TWRP menu, but it soft bricked my phone. Used LG PC Suit to repair the OS and the recovery menu. Should I try it again now with stock-working recovery menu?

I tried it 2nd time and now it works without any problem. I just want to ask you, if I can install Lineage OS on my phone? And I'm a bit confused which version of LOS to use, since the TWRP menu I have downloaded with the GUI program was for D852G (with G).

I don't see any LineageOS for your phone. Only for Canadian LG G3 D852.

Exactly what is it doing when you try to boot. If you didn't actually flash twrp, it should still boot from your normal bootloader. If you're just seeing the dead Android on the screen, hold down the power button until you see the "Bootloader Unlocked" screen.

At the point your at if your okay with a custom rom do this. Install kingroot, it is known as bloatware but you will flash it after. Use flashify to flash twrp after that. Flash a custom rom like lineage and you can get the latest version of android and you can root that.
I have LG G4 AT&T H810 running Android 5.1. I have not rooted it. It has all kinds of preinstalled bloatware about which I am not happy. I am looking to root the phone and install a minimum and smooth custom rom on it but a little research on Google and XDA Forums does not give about rooting and custom rom for LG G4 H810 variant so I am needing to ask in a post for same reason. Can someone who is using the same phone give me a good place to start and a link to well made custom rom. What are steps should I take before moving to install any other rom?
Sorry about title: G4 not G3.
Thank you to anyone who replies and helps this little guy.
Regards, Ahmad.
You can't install custom roms on the H810 variant, only on H815 and H811, because it requires to unlock bootloader and H810 can't be unlocked.

So to give more of the backstory I have an unlocked one +7 pro 5G that I flash the European firmware to and what I’m trying to do now is flash a custom ROM onto my 1+7 pro 5G. When I brought up TWRP any time I try to flash any ROM, whether it be lineage or something else I get that error saying that the ROM I selected failed and I exactly sure what’s causing that to happen.

I would try a deep clean:
Complete reset with deletion of the internal storage
Stock firmware reinstallation via fastboot, here you find everything.
Unlock bootloader and root with latest magisk release and twrp 3.3.1-79
Installation of the crDroid rom
I have no other ideas also because I cannot see the images with the error that appears when you try the flash.

The kind of error seems to indicate problems accessing the system partition, as if root privileges are missing.
I believe that with deep clean it can be solved.

Stick with OOS... There's practically no ROM out there made to work with the 5G version of the the OP7Pro.
Only 4G version works with all ROMs , that's probably your issue.
A guy was trying to flash RR in his 5G not too long ago and he ran into issues too.
