Root Galaxy Star Pro S7262 by my experience

Hi to everyone i was found it and want to share with you (-:
first you need download kingoroot and vroot
http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root/download.htm
http://www.mgyun.com/en/getvroot
connect your phone with usbdebugging enabled
run kingoroot click root let it do his work after a moment device must be restarted and kingoroot say root failed OK
close kingoroot then run vroot and reroot and DONE (-: (-: (-: (-: (-:

It means flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER in Odin. Here are the steps I did, in detail.
Make sure you have copied the superuser.zip to your SDcard before you begin.
- Flash the recovery as PDA (I unchecked the autoboot, just to keep everything in control)
- Remove data cable
- Remove battery for a few seconds and put it back
- Go in download mode again, and flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER (This time, checked the autoboot option)
- Phone starts in CWM recovery
- Flash the SU
In case you're still having trouble, go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and search for s7262, download the kernel for YOUR COUNTRY and flash it as PDA through Odin. Then follow the above steps.

Ok so now that we've installed SU, how can we get the old bootloader back? Cu's the phone is just going into recovery now and not booting.
So I'm back on the original kernel. Which doesn't have SU

No progress. The screen goes white as soon as the samsung boot sound starts. Any chance you have a copy of the original bootloader? We can flash that after installing SU.

Actually I think it's the bootloader. Just worked fine the first time.. After second boot I'm getting white screen (same thing that used to come previously when I flashed recovery). Let's see if this gets fixed, otherwise this whole operation would just die.
Lesson here is: Cheaper android phones are crap . I'm using an HTC amaze, and it was one hell of a task to root it! But at least it responded to logic.

Ok in Samsung-update.com site search for this rom
S7262JVUAMK flash it
And then try root your phone by my method

Or if you have your old kernel you can now flash it
And still with SU

i don't know how to root my htc one x.
i got android 4.2.2 on my phone.
i have seen many methods but no one works or i don't know how??

Yes.. Click on Gain root.... If not works then first click install twrp... Then after this click gain root

yea but when i click the superuser it says that it will push some superuser.zip file in the phone and reboot/
i click ok but when in reboots and try to open i get a phone with on it a red triangle and a ' ! ' ???/

OK.. 1st flash twrp...... Then flash superuser.....
After flash twrp. Restart your phone and make sure to put superuser.zip (not exactly same name)
To your SD card....... I didn't used this tool so far... But it should put that file in your SD card.... If not than you can download it (search chainfire super user in Google) and put in your SD card.... Then switch off your device.... And press home lock volume up key together..... Until you get a screen of twrp recovery...... Then by volume button scroll to update from SD card and use power/lock key to select that file (superuser.zip) and install...... After installing your device will automatically restart..... And your will gain root

You have that tool mentioned in the first link..... Connect your device with that to pc
And there is an option flash recovery... Twrp..... Click on that to flash... After that tell me what happens

in the bootmenu up in the left corner there is unlocked and i had the screen with 'are you sure that you want to unlock bootloader? i did yes

i flashed it with TWRP!!
butt when i do recovery in bootmenu i get to the screen where i need to do something with the supersu file!

i flashed trwp and tried booting into it and its just will not do anything and my fastboot says this. AP_S_ABNORMAL.

i did but twrp will not boot up and i used this twrp-3.1.1-1-frd and i was running stock android. right now im using fastboot to flash boot recovery cust and system to the device.

also when i try to enter twrp the phone vibrates then it vibrates again and gets stuck at your device is booting.

okay good news after successfully flashing BOOT, RECOVERY, CUST, and SYSTEM. when i go into fastboot it says cold-boot now so i have made progress

whatever is wrong with my phone it is weird. okay so i can flash the stock stuff with fastboot then let it boot and it will boot into stock but when i flash twrp i cant boot into recovery and the phone fails to boot up and when it boots into stock it says my phone is a fdr-4 but mine is fdr-14

Yes bro format data reboot again and flash rhe stock firmware.
Stock firmware got 2 zips first flash the updae_hw_full.zip big name zip , next the update.zip and then reboot
Now got to recovery and do a format factory once

now the phone starts and asks for a password. i tried 12345678 but it continues to say wrong password...how can i unlock it? for the phone there was no password set...

I tried to download it. To do so i have to install BaiduNetdisk. but after installing it, i still cant download it. It seems that i have to create an account or so...could you please upload it to a source, that offers at least an englisch version of its site?
update: found a workaround. I am using jdownloader. Start jdownloader, copy the url of the directory at baidu from browser. jdownloader asks for provided password "dnjq". Files are then added to jdownloader automatically. Start download and enter the capchas.

I used your patched_boot.img, but now the phone asks for a password and I didn't have one.

you can use magisk APP patch boot.img
I guess 128G and 64G's BOOT.img are different.

I found another way around:
Restored the factory image.
Set a PIN code.
Installed the patched boot img again.
Now the phone is unlocked and I have root.
Thank you for the instructions and the img file!
Do you know if it is possible to install custom recovery?

Some Chinese netizens are doing this, but nothing has been done.

Mine is also 128G version. This ROM is brushed in local update mode. It is not painted with TWRP.

Need to unlock your boot-loader first . Need PC (obviously)
Go to settings - About Phone - Build no - tap 7 times continuously to enable developer option.
After Developer Option Enabled -Go to -Settings- Developer Options- toggle OEM UNLOCK to on

After setup adb & fastboot -Boot Device in Fastboot Mode (bootloader)
shutdown device then Press and hold power button(first) + volume Up key for some second until fastboot screen shows up.
connect phone with usb cable.
Steps For Unlocking Boot-loader
open CMD in windows then type this command

fastboot flashing unlock
if successful then return with ok finished second blah blah..
Instruction for flashing twrp

patched boot
extract all files in somewhere in pc for example root of c drive
then type this command

whatever named
if one is not working then try another twrp.img
For fixing of bootloop flash patched boot.img too (attched in link)

Ya definitely . Can be use without jio sim and also net for both sim.
I already made 360 os but not tested on any device for bugs. I m searching on olx to buy one . To build and test bugless rom. I will upload 360 os rom soon.

I'm too interested in testing the ROM.
I flashed Custom ROM of Q402 plus that's ported by you (Q Mobile ROM) . It's working fantastic. Now my friend wants me to flash Custom ROM in his Q440 too. When i searched on internet, to my shock i didn't find any custom for it. But there's a hope from you that you will provide it for us. Please provide us custom rom soon. We are here to test it.

Bro the rom data is encrypted.. use android kitchen to unsign the data...

The rom system.img is signed and whenever I was tried to unsigned it with hex editor it got corrupted.

You can also use the twrp backup of that rom...

Did you tried for Bharat 4 system-sign.img
Is it working?.
Because it's failed to unsign system.img earlier and I have to manually remove it.
