Back Covers - What's Your Favorite Color?

Hi Guys,
I had the atrix last week and I was going to paint the back cover (professionally). But I now have the galaxy s 4g, so I want to paint these instead.
I would like to know what colors do YOU think our phones would look great in?
I don't want to do 2 tones because the price would be higher.
I'm going to try to charge $18.00 for the labor with paint and clear coats and shipping included.
I'm thinking if I get enough interest I'm going to buy some covers ahead of time. This was you can just tell me the color you want and either pay for the cover or send your own.
If you decide you want to keep the cover, I will charge you for the cover than refund you the money once I have received your cover.
For now I just want to see which is the most popular color. Than I ill paint mine and post pictures.

Btw, the clear coat I will be using is TOP notch quality. It's really thick and shines very nice!
It will help hold the phone better as it wont be as slippery. And with a different color, the phone will look really nice.

I hope you get a bunch of people interested. . .

that looks nice. If only they have white decals that work with the galaxy s 4g. with the one he used, the ffc is covered.

I had a fluorescent green cover ever since I got the phone. Today my black cover arrived and I'm super impressed how nice this color looks
on my phone. All the colors suddenly are pooping out of the screen even more.

I believe it is. All the reviews on the iPhone 6 which is basically the same glass are positive. I think the aluminum might look cool but I'm in the same boat. I'm going to wait for some reviews and when the white version comes out

I like the look of this lots but wonder how the crown will effect the fitting of a case, I'll also be waiting for a black version and seeing if they post to the uk

One of the reviews I watched mentioned that the taper of the crown where I case would meet is approximately .1 mm. I would imagine it depends on how much the case wraps around the front of the screen. The one that's on my phone right now actually doesn't even get to the glass.

I'd agree it will depend on the case and my current one a spigen neo hybrid over laps the glass I would say by about 1mm or possibly 2mm, still very tempted once the black version arrives.

Op will you also update when they make the black variant available?

Bit vague unfortunately.

Why they would only have silver when the phones are either white, black or gold is beyond me.

They have the "Crown" for the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Note 4 in Black & White. I believe that they should have the color process down pat by now.

And I believe you are also 100% correct.

So all this is really doing is using the "silver crown" to hide halos, right? It doesn't sound all that revolutionary, but I guess its one way to get rid of the halo problem.

Correct. Basically the same idea as the tempered glass screen protectors with colored borders. Both are just two different ways with dealing with the halo. The good thing about the crown is that it actually curves with the actual glass. Whereas the edge to edge tempered glass screen protectors have a small gap between the edges of the tempered glass and screen that tends to build up dust.

I bought one for my Note 4 and to be honest I was very dissapointed. After installing the glass and the crown piece (they are seperate) I still ended up with a very slight halo that can be seen all the way around the glass - it was small but you could see it when the screen is off.
The "Crown" piece isn't as smooth as you would hope and my finger catches on it - particuarly around the home button -(at the bottom of the phone)
The concept sounded good - but the execution was slightly off - I complained about it to Body Guardz and they sent me a new one - same thing happened.
I still have it on the note - but I would never buy it again and I won't be buying it for the S6 - but that is just me. Others may have different results.

so my last phone broke with a very small drop in a case, so i decided to just go the skin route for scratch protection and customizability. I Just put it on, it was a long process but I like how it came out. Let me know what you think. Feel free to ask questions

The word nexus is actually a black carbon fiber look, but its hard to tell in the picture

I was torn too, I have the black on the edges and I like it too. But that white though

Does the color of the Honor 8 fades up?

Honor 8 Sapphire Blue is awesome to see. But since it is bright, I would like to know from then previous users of Honor 8 that will the color fade ?
Will the glassy look disappear after some months ?
How is the quality of materials used in it ?

Hi, I am using the Sapphire Blue version for more than a month without using any phone case and screen protector. I did not notice any color fading as the color is beneath the glass surface. The color at the side of the phone is nice to look and nice to hold too, and it did not seem to fade as well.

Thanks for the update. Hope so it will glow as it is for the upcoming months.

Since its a glass backed phone (like s6 and s7) I don't think color will fade,my friend have 1,5 year s6 in white and color didnt fade

White and Black is Ok. Even it fades, we can't find it easily.
This one is blue that's why I'm asking.

I don't think so, since the colour source is under the glass

From our experience, we haven't heard of any color fading on the device. We highly recommend purchasing one of our third-party cases to protect the device from accident damage or color fading. We appreciate the concerns and will forward your information to our product development team. (NS)

What about scrathes? Glass on both front and back mest mean more scrathes? Or?

If you get it all scratched up I suppose the color won't come through as well anymore?
For general use I don't think it will fade as others have said.

What's the point of getting a beatiful device and put a case on it just to prevent scratch? I wish back glass was more durable

Definitely mate, better glass, instead of better covers I hot a flipcase in leather for mine but I rarely use it cause it hides my beautiful phone:laugh:

Yeah I definitely agree.
I don't get why they market the beautiful design and then also suggest putting a case on it. I guess the clear case is a good middle ground.
It's probably all about the numbers. Will they make more money if the device was more scratch resistant? I suspect it takes more research and engineering and possibly materials to achieve that. Maybe the device would have to be more expensive to cover this extra cost and fewer people would buy it?
And if it scratches easily they can sell more cases too.
Looks like a typical business decision to me.

The main reason for buying this phone is to show off the people around us the excellent colors in the mobile. If use the case then I could for other mobile with normal plastic and get a great case to show it off..

Transparent Oneplus 7 Pro

I just want to share with you my favorite modification to the OnePlus 7 Pro. I love transparent phones and this is what I did with mine.
I am going to replace the tape for glue but I wanted to show you how it looks.

Zhanlida T-7000. It is black and it is very similar to the original. I prefer black because it does not turn yellow with light.
Do you have one to recommend me?

This guy used double sided tape but only mentioned dust, never said liquid. Ballsy move.

No. It is not waterproof anymore, but if I apply the glue very carefully I can seal it as much as possible. I just love the way it looks.

Yes. It is the 12gig model. I tried to resist my impulse but at the end I couldn't. I am really happy with the final result. I looks fantastic.

My Note 9 has glue and I was very careful applying it. I can not assure you that it is 100% waterproof but it has received humidity from rain, wet tables, etc and I have not had a single problem. I gave it to my brother and he loves it. I think that being carefull it can be waterproofed.
Jerryrigeverything and the other guys who make transparent phones just do it to show but not for daily use. I am confident that my phones are sealled. Time will tell but the note 9 has been transparent por months and is perfect.

Yes. I saw it but I preferred the original look. It would be great if the original battery color was red but I do not want to touch the battery.

OP, I have a quick question. Isn't there some sort of black "card" that covers the motor for the front camera? I think it contains the NFC antenna.
Did you lose any functionality (other that waterproofing) by doing this? I only ask because, once I break my back glass (and I'm sure I will eventually), I'll probably do this as well.

I removed the black cover to be able to show the camera motor and the board. I just lost NFC which I never use. Everything else works as expected.
In a couple of days I will post new pictures with the back glass glued and I think that I can make it waterproof again or at least splash resistant.

It was never water proof.
It was mildly water resistant. An not now.
