Dont know whats wrong with this but I rolled back to jan18 build...
This is the best ever ROM I have come across. Guys, go for it. Among the plethora of roms such as lineage, mokee posted on the forum, this one is the best. Smooth, buttery and fast as well. Scrolling is awesome, comparable to the very high end phones including iPhones. From the moment I flashed it, this has become my favourite. Plenty of beautiful features, surely you will be exhausted testing all of them.
Guys, you try it, it is worth it.

As an avid flasher and big fan of 3rd party software (not a dev) I have to ask this.. what is CyanogenMod doing?
It seems to me like they are running on a treadmill going nowhere. The latest problems are with introducing this new kernel, taking stability back to the stone ages. All this time and we still have general bluetooth errors, random reboots, weak cell coverage (yes, I know it reports lower, but it's actually LOWER). So, I have to ask, with the upcoming release of Android 5.0, the Galaxy S4 and after 8 months of CM10.1 development, why don't they produce a stable product?
CM 10.1 is so freaking awesome! But it sometimes can't be a DD for me cause I need reliability. The last stable release was from Nov 2012. I really want to donate and cheer on the CM team, but it's hard to when I don't know what they're up to. Samsung's software sucks, and CM really delivers on overall user experience, if they could button up the quality and reliability I feel it would have a lot more adopters.
BTW, the latest nightly (31 Mar) is doing really well.
youre wrong on alot of levels here.
1. signal is the same for me as TW. compared to my mothers AND brothers stock S3 over the holiday weekend at various locations.
2. Ive only had ONE random reboot running AOSP. ONE. Thats over 5-6 months.
3. Feel free to develop your own ROM instead of crying. These people put hours into their work and do it for you to download their ROMS for FREE.
So you're not a Dev yet your crying about progress from the most popular Android rom?
Maybe you should learn to Dev yourself so you can satisfy your own needs.

I have been trying out a lot of ROMs recently and among the ones I tried,I found Resurrection Remix and Dirty Unicorns to be one of the most feature packed ROMs,but can't decide which one is better.
Although Resurrection Remix is official for Moto G3 and DU is unofficial,I would like to ask in general,which ROM works better for you?
I generally like feature packed ROMs which offer lots of tweaks and wouldn't settle for simple ROMs...but it is only my personal opinion.
If you have tried any other ROMs with more customizability than the ones mentioned above,do let me know.
The only thing that makes me prefer RR is Live Display, which wasn't present in DU when I tried it some months ago. But apart from that, I don't find anything else, they both offer a lot of customization. And there is an app in Play Store that does the same as Live Display, but I prefer having that option baked in the ROM.
And being official or unofficial doesn't change the way the ROM works, they are both excellent ROMs in my opinion

Back in the days when I owned the op3, development was pretty good, some developers ported and supported the op3 cam in other roms which had manny features compared to oxygen roms.
I noticed that it was something special, because people were looking forward to have an identical cam experience on their device with a highly advanced custom rom such as resurrection remix without having compromise for the cam quality and performance.
Honestly I hope to see such development for the op6. I am also curious what you guys think.

Hello, I am a new here but I recently got into modding my galaxy s8+. But there are so many roms out there and every one of them has something different. I am looking for a fast rom with many options to personalize the os. While also having nice features. I have checked out Havoc OS and I quite like it but I am open for suggestions. Thanks for helping a new here...
I personally use bliss Rom for s8+. It's the best for me. The customization is super rich! Battery is good. Have a few minor bugs here and there but it's nothing major. Havoc is also good.
Honestly, havoc or bliss are the best. Tried both and both were running perfectly but bliss is a winner for me because it has more customization features.
what about a camera, it is good or bad in custom roms?
So far there was plenty of choice between roms with each android version as the years went by. Android 8 got a lot, 9 a bit less but still plenty, 10 a lot again but 11 seems to be largely skipped (at least by the major big roms). As far as i know, there is only Lineage, Graphene, Tugapower, Kali Nethunter and that's it. (there is Havoc-OS too but it's not official and has barely any features)
Of course it's still better than nothing at all to keep the opo working so i'm very thankful to the devs for that. Even android 10 will be useful for a few more years (i'm currently on RR android 8 and no issues so far even now). TWRP had an update in may 2022 which was a nice surprise, so that's pretty cool at least.
Is there any indication at all that someone is working on android 12 for the opo?

Correct me if i'm wrong. Maybe i missed something completely. Perhaps you guys have some interesting opinions aswell.
edit: not sure why mod moved it to here(i posted in general on purpose). it's not a technical problem but whatever, i guess knowing context is hard
edit2: even the galaxy s2 and s3 got android 12 now. If those devices can boot it, the opo (which is comparable so an s5) surely has to be capable enough. i hope someone out there is developing someting..
