Updated to Nougat. Only the apps on home screen are accessible. Apps tray is empty although going to apps in settings shows all of them installed. AT&T and Samsung spent and hour combined with remote connection to no avail. Did a restore from backup made before updating. Apps as essential as banking and gallery unusable.

I was able to remove the AT&T bloatware using Titanium Backup but for some reason AT&T Maps and AT&T Navigation (which now lists as com.telenav.app) are still listed (although they are shown as having been removed), while the others are no longer in my Applications box. Any idea how to remove these last two? I've tried rebooting the phone to no avail. Thanks!
I have a rooted S6 Edge SM-G925T running Android 5.1.1. I have Information Stream turned on in settings, but when I try to download feeds I get "unfortunately Galaxy Apps has stopped". I can't get time or weather on the edge bar either.
I had previously backed up Galaxy Apps with Titanium Backup, and thereafter removed Galaxy Apps. When I later tried to restore Galaxy Apps using Titanium Backup, I got the "moving bar" for a long tome, and I'm uncertain if it restored correctly.
Sooo ... is there a way to reinstall Galaxy Apps and/or get my edge bar working?
Thx, Gus
I had LAGGING issues with my ATT S7 EDGE. This might help some of you.
I observed the below things on my ATT S7 EDGE:
1. When I first bought the device, I used google's app backup restore from my previous Note 4. I setup everything and but I felt a lot of lagging.
2. Later I reset my device and setup my device as a new Device. Installed all my apps. Phone works like a charm, No lagging at ALL.
3. Unfortunately, due to the multiple attempts on the fingerprints, my phone got automatically reset to factory settings. ....Then again I had to install all my apps. So i used Google's backup again and restored everything. I see too much lagging again.I tried clearing all the caches from recovery but no luck
4. Lastly, I reset my phone again, cleared all the caches and set it up as a NEW DEVICE...installed all my apps one by one....Setup everything phone WORKS LIKE A CHARM. NO LAGGING AT ALL!!!!!
My Conclusion - ""By Setting up as a new Device. I see no LAG AT ALL.""
FYI, in all the above steps I did use package disabler pro and disabled most of the att bloatware. Attached Screenshots of my disabled apps.
I have around 100+ apps running all the time in the background and I see NO LAG AT ALL.
I have 8 gmail accounts and 2 work Emails lol....NO LAG AT ALL!!
I also use Greenify widget to hibernate the apps sometimes.
LOVING MY PHONE !!!!!

My phone was domestic unlocked. I was having a weird bug so I thought a software reinstall with Samsung Switch (PC) was a good idea...Worst decision I've made in 2016 so far! After the phone restarted, all Sprint apps were gone, and some others disabled like Facebook, Lookout and Instagram and the Hotspot and Tethering settings no longer appear. I went to a friend asking for some help: Various reinstalls with Odin yielded no results. GT idone needs root. A rooted phone is a no no for me as Banking apps and even Pokémon can't run. Factory resets and another "repair" with Samsung Switch are useless.
Where did the carrier apps went? Also, all the Sprint APNs no longer appear. Is there a NON ROOTED way of getting it back? We tried RTN, then reflashing with Odin with no results. I'm on the latest Marshmallow update (Came out yesterday)
Who is your carrier TELCEL?
Not sure what that is, actually I just look at your profile. What is your fw version?

i have the same problem. some one please help. i miss my hotspot...# unlock sprint note 5 no root. 6.0.1 T_mobile is my Carrier
New-to-me refurbed Galaxy S7 Active problems with some apps
Just bought a refurbed S7 Active from an on-line retailer.
Some apps won't download (GasBuddy), another, Gas 'Guru, installed, but whenever I tap on the listed, the app quits with message 'Gas Guru has unexpectedly stopped'.
Moved the app from system to SD, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, and checkd all settings that I thought could interfere. Nada. Any thoughts on this? Is it the phone? Other apps seems to work, but the problem apps load and run fine on S3 & S4.
Should I return the S7 Active?
