S6 Screen Broken - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, getting a bit desperate here, just checking before I nuke the phone from orbit using the "Samsung Find My Device / Wipe" .... my partner has dropped her S6 and the digitizer is broken and the screen *was* visible but deteriorated quickly, the glass itself is perfect since it had a glass protector on it....
I can't get MTP access because the screen notification asks for "Allow MTP access" - I put an OTG adapter in it with a mini keyboard/mouse combo whilst I could view the screen but it was having none of it. I checked that the OTG set up worked on my own S6 and it worked perfectly, just not on hers... so touch screen is no use, and no way to click "Allow MTP" via mouse.
So, are we saying it's game over because I can't use a PC to access the phones data since I have to click the MTP message on the screen? I've read that the S6 has dropped the MHT cable access (great?!) so now the screen is inaccessible and I can't access MTP (USB debugging is seemingly disabled since I can't access it via ADB)
Any help appreciated

Data Recovery Galaxy S7 with broken screen

Hey guys and gals, so my brother has broken his S7, the LCD and touch are gone, the phone still turns on and it can connect through usb no problem for backing up music and photos, but he needs his contacts, sms and call logs, something usually done with superbackup or similar apps, but obviously they aren't available,
I've tried the official Samsung apps like smart-switch, but they require me to click yes to a pop up on the screen which I obviously cant do, my idea was to use a USB OTG cable with a usb hub, plug in a mouse and use a home made USB A to USB A cable to connect it to the pc at the same time and click randomly to hopefully hit yes, but frankly that sounds so stupid and doesn't seem likely to work (but I will try it if I have no other option)
my next idea was to use one of the many data recovery apps, however despite what almost every page states, none of them support the S7, just the S6 and lower and a few of the tab and note devices, so at this point im out of ideas, the phone doesnt have Root or usb debugging enabled so no hopes of ADB or anything,
any ideas here?
Thanks guys!
Use SydeSync or app like visor (Chrome add-on) to cast your phone screen to PC.
If you needed to install these apps to your mobile phone, you can install them via google play store on PC.
When you connect your mobile phone to internet, it will automatically be installed to your mobile phone.
Then you can cast your screen to your PC.
Sorry, I did not read the last sentence you wrote "No USB Debugging enabled".
Sorry...
Seen this asked quite a few times, doesn't seem like many solutions, basically if it's deadly important, fix the screen
Contacts should be on contacts.google.com

How to accept adb connection w/ broken touch (display works) - USB debugging enabled

Hi,
I hope this is not a cross-post; I've read a few other guides and suggestions on this forum already but my problem seems to be the opposite of what many people have.
I've got an Xperia Z5 Compact (not rooted) with a chipped screen. Touch does not work at all, but the display works fine.
I plugged in a mouse via OTG adapter and enabled USB debugging, then plugged it into my PC to attempt connecting with ADB. However, once I plug in a new device the phone wants me to confirm to "allow" the connection coming from my PC. But since my mouse is no longer plugged in, I can't accept the popup.
I tried to connect with AirDroid as well to try to accept the popup via screen share, but in order to allow WiFi screen sharing, it needs root (or an adb connection).....which makes the problem kind of circular.
Any suggestions or tips (or resources I might have overlooked?)
Thanks,
Rafael

Remote Access / Screen Mirroring with broken screen (Galaxy S6 SM-G920F)?

Hey,
some days ago, I dropped my phone so that the screen is broken (black) now.
The other functions work fine though, for example I can still connect the phone via USB to the PC and access to the files.
Nevertheless, I have some important files which can only be accessed via Private Mode. But in order to activate the Private Mode, I have to see the display (unless you know another way how to activate Private Mode?).
I think the best way for that would be Screen Mirroring on PC. Unfortunately, Samsung's SideSync does not recognize my phone although it's connected via USB. Probably I have to open SideSync on the phone as well but with a broken screen, this is difficult (Or do you have any ideas?)
I have also checked out other programs like MirrorGo, but this one needs USB debugging enabled on the phone. Again, that is not easy with a broken screen.
So do you have any ideas how I can either mirror the phone on a PC or enable the Private Mode in a different way? (Apart from replacing the whole display for 200€)
Thanks a lot for your help

How do I transfer data from Galaxy S9 broken screen

Hi I am struggling to get data off my old galaxy S9, I have the 2 phones connected via USB but cannot authorise the old phone to transfer data, the screen is FUBAR and as such cannot press" allow" I think that presently the USB mode seems to be charging only, can anyone help? thanks
Use ABD and it comes with the the android SDK from google. But it requires a couple of your phones internal software switches to be set in order to access your phone via the USB interface. If you have not already set these switches before the screen got broken you may be out of luck.

how to access phone with a broken screen?

I have a Oneplus 5 phone with a broken screen from about 4 years ago, the screen is entirely black and does not show anything, touch also does not work.
I want to mirror the device's screen to a monitor so I can set it up as an IP camera to record my cat giving birth.
I'm pretty sure I have usb debugging enabled since I last used it, so far I have tried:
1. connecting to a usb-c dock with HDMI to a monitor, but apparently Oneplus 5 does not support MHL.
2. tried using Vysor and Scrcpy, both work on my Galaxy Note 9 (main phone) but I have to unlock the phone and allow permissions to use ADB, since I don't have a working screen or touch on my Oneplus 5 this didn't go so well.
additional info that might be helpful:
I tried connecting the phone to a keyboard and entering the PIN (I'm pretty sure I remember it correctly) but I can't tell if it does anything.
the phone is functional, in fact, a tiny corner of the screen (bottom right) responds to touch and I can draw V gesture to turn on flash.
Vysor recognizes the phone, but upon clicking "view" it says: "The connected Android device requires pairing confirmation. click the "allow USB debugging" prompt on your android". but again, I don't have a working screen, and I cant have a keyboard connected to the phone and PC at the same time (unless there is a way I don't know of).
Is there any way I can get screen mirroring working on this device? it's been sitting in a drawer for 4 years waiting for this moment, I don't even care about recording my cat giving birth anymore... I just want this to work!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
