Reading contacts from soft bricked LG-D325 internal memory. - XDA Assist

Hi,
I have my LG-D325 bricked, it boots but the problem is it's not responsive at all and keeps displaying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped".
I got in the download mode by turning off the phone then press the volume up key and connect the USB cable. I got the mobile recognized by the laptop and have been able to get the internal memory using the tool HXD, the memory is about 3.64GB. My problem is I couldn't find a tool that can parse and browse the internal memory although I believe it's something should be trivial to be done and I'm missing something.
What is I'm trying to achieve is getting all the contact details by grabbing the contacts2.db file.
Any ideas how I can achieve that?
N.B: USB Debugging isn't enabled and I can't enable it as it's not responsive.

Hi !
Does it gets recognised by the PC ? What do you see in the My Computer ?
Search on google for the LG D325 drivers , download and install the LG suite app
Good luck !

Pc doesnt recognize my device ?

My laptop doesnt recognize my device. It all happened when i checked an option in development (application option - in settings) with usb connected .... Also tested on another laptop... not working ... is there any solution ??
Charging happens ... but driver installation fails. . .
Dear cldwar,
Same here and i did everything to solve even back to stock but no chance; just charging but usb not recognized... At last i found the below solution by myself... Still i am very confused that what is causing this issue; hardware or software failure?
Solution:
1- Download " Usb Mass Storage Watcher " from market. Install and run then choose " auto mount usb " option and save.
2- In telephone screen, 3845#*920# to enter hidden menu. Go to port setting and set " AP USB " then check retain after reboot and save-reboot
3- After phone reboots, choose mass storage from settings-sd card or applications-development-usb debugging...
4- plugin usbcable and connect phone. Wait a few seconds and then u will see that phone is being recognized by the computer.
5- In phone screen, usb mass storage watcher application may prompt several times so just press save to exit...
6- To disconnect, either disconnect cable directly or deselect mass storage mode or usb debugging... Phone may be unstable temporary while disconnecting usb...
Hope all these helps...
Kind regards,
Sent from my LG-P920 using XDA App
You have the drivers on the phone itself, on the LGE folder.

[Q] USB connection related problems

hello,i have several problems that are making me very angry.i use updated windows 7 32 bit.
1.i have samsung kies and my device was working normaly, but then today when i connected my phone to pc i got code 43 error device not recognized.i tryed reinstalling kies uninstalling drivers re installing nothing helps i cant even connect when i am in download mode same error.I NEED SOME ANSWERS ASAP COZ IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY.
2.this one is bit smaller but also annoying,it was happening while usb connection was still working, when i connect my phone(any mode kies or mass storage),then when i copy files from pc to phone it working fine, but when i try to copy something from phone to pc i get random disconnects (connection loss) there is no logical explenation coz its totally random, lets say i copy 100 pics i get dc after 10 then i reconnect phone and click retry he copy 15 more and dc again.
Any1 will any solution plz help coz my phone is at mess atm and cant flash anything.
the source of the usb issue may be your computer.
1) did you always use the same usb port for your phone?
2) how old is your computer?
3) do you live in a humid environment?
I live on guam, and on my older laptop (only two years old!!!), running winxp, 3 of 4 usb ports are no longer usable due to corrosion. they give errors and even when working, sometimes I could lose the connection by moving the cable slightly. also, the last usb port is now getting difficult to use because it's hard to plug in anything
so, if you answered yes to #1, try another port and be prepared to install the drivers again.
if you answered yes to #3, be prepared to replace your usb if they are indeed corroded
well thnx for answer, but my pc is new like 7 months old,usb ports are working just switched mouse and phone mouse working phone not.its driver relater before i had that error and some1 from xda told me to delete everything(kies drivers) related to phone and his drivers and it worked i also see that error(code 43 is common) but fix with uninstalling driver(worked before now doesnt).thing is that something at that moment didnt work well on phone(last time it was my external sd card had to format it)and now pc keeps repeating same error.simply even tho all drivers are installed i get device not recognized, and under device manager it unknown device, also when i tick option to see hidden devices i see omap 3630 but state is unconnected.

When transferring files to and from pc, do you use the original USB cable that came with the phone? Because when i use other cables, i have this issue, when i use the original cable, no probs at all.
if that also doesnt work, try formatting internal and external SD cards

i use original cable and also i did format both external and internal cards several times my first problem is kinda more important atm.
ok i tried connecting my phone to secondary pc running xp gave me same error but simple uninstall of driver and reinstall made it work cant fix it on win 7.
Edit: damn phone wont connect when in download mode cant flash anything -.-.
Connect the phone and go to device manager
If you see the i9003 driver uninstall it then connect the phone to pc again
now windows 7 will download the driver automatically
that's how I fixed my problem

[Q] SE Xperia Mini X10 - Serious issue - appless phone

Hello guys!
This is the first time I'm ever asking for an advice online so don't judge me too hard, I'm out of options, been googling for hours.
I have SE Xperia X10 mini (not pro). A while ago I rooted it and removed some annoying system apps. Removed the apps that were labeled as safe to remove by people who have done this before. As a result market stopped working, been trying to fix it but nothing seemed to help. Last option was a factory reset. Did that. Now I have a phone with no apps, cant access web, don't have a file manager, no music player, no nothing And market is still not working.
Only good thing is that now market is just stuck in "Starting download" position as before it had this annoying error message popping up.
I'm wondering is there a way for me to reinstall the phone completely with market not working and not having a file manager either?
Thanks in advance
P.S. I use ubuntu, but will figure out how to run win files soon. BTW might this thing with adb.exe + usb debugging help me install apps through USB, so I can atleast install file manager and then it would be easier to figure out what to do next?
Have you tried fixing with Sony PC Companion? I had a similar problem where I deleted some things I shouldn't have and PC Companion fixed it for me.
did you use sd-ext? because i have got the same problem which is i have to do partition again to ext3
Market is stuck whenever i try to download multiply files, but it was solved once it's upgraded to Play Store
and yes you can install applications via USB, just be sure to activate USB Debugging in Development menu, there is an windows application that allow mass apk installation, just search it
Thanks guys for your responses. School is intense now but once I'm done with all that workload I'll get to fixing my phone You really calmed me down by confirming that it is possible to install apps via usb Really much thanks, from this point on I'll manage

unfortunately, com.sonyericsson.usbux has stopped

Hi All,
Looking for some help after searching around on the error message of "unfortunately, com.sonyericsson.usbux has stopped" when ever I try and connect my Sony Xperia E via usb nor does it recognise my SD card (which works on other devices)
A quick bit of background info on how I ended up with this error. I have rooted my Xperia E and its been working perfectly well so I could use Link2SD to move apps to my SD card due to the phone memory being miminal on an Xperia E.
It looked like I had partitioned the SD card incorrectly (by that I mean what I wanted to use as my primary was actually my secondary with the least space) so it resulted in the card filling up very quickly.
So I moved all the apps back to the internal memory and formatted the SD card and then partitioned it again using Mini Tool Partition.
The next step is where it all went wrong. When I launched Link2SD I assumed it would pick up the fact that the card had been reformated/partiontied again and run set up as such from scratch but it didnt.
So I went into the Link2SD menu > settings > more > then quick reboot. The device rebooted but then just hung on the coloured Sony splash screen and sat like that for about 10 mins before I turned it off and back on again.
Since then I get the error of "unfortunately, com.sonyericsson.usbux has stopped" when ever I connect the phone via USB and that no SD card is found (its formatted and working on other phones)
So two things are I cannot connect the phone by USB to repair it for example with Sonys software nor can I write anything to the SD card.
I have started it in safe mode, factory reset it and also found it under Apps > All and cleared cache , forced stop and rebooted in the hope it starts back up again correctly.
Is something like this most likely going to require a reinstall of the Android OS? Its first my Android
I noticed another user posted the same issue with an Xperia J of that message and being unable to connect via USB or his phone recognizing the SD card but after reading the responses it all went above my head on what was needed to fix it!
Thank you all, the other post is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34576872

u said ur phone was rooted ryt?...on your device check if usb debugging is enabled.if not do it. connect ur device to ur pc using usb. install the adb drivers and get the android sdk on ur pc....after that go to
where u have put ur sdk/platform-tools/adb .
then 'adb devices' in the terminal .if your device comes up then, the drivers are ok,if not install the drivers again properly
then 'adb logcat'
then while connected try to reproduce the problem. go to /dev/null on your device and post the stdout file here.
or you if all this is too much for you, search for a logcatting app,and post the logfile here

Sorry been on holiday. ok so I got as far as running adb devices (I simply double clicked "adb devices" which seemed to just launch a cmd prompt that ran through a whole load of text before dissapearing and doing nothing.
I tried the app aLogcat and when I launch it and it starts to read the logs it comes up with the error of " E/Trace (2824) error opening trace log file: no such file or directory (2)
I also get a similar message when trying it with the app Log Viewer error when running Read Logs of " 22:44:00.609 Trace error opening trace file no such file or directory (2)

those errors are because there are no logs now to read...u have to create one first.ur specific app is unfamiliar to me, but u should be able to configure it to take logs and save them at a specific place easily. Keep in mind though that,u have to reproduce ur prob while taking the log for it to be of use.

I managed to fix this in the end.
Loaded a new ROM on the device, worked all ok via USB until I put the SD card back in and got same error each time when connecting with USB.
Tried with another SD card and all worked ok via USB etc no error.
Re formatted the faulty SD card using SD Formatter and phone now working and recognizing that original SD card and connecting with USB
Thanks for your help anyway

[Q] Clone Korean Galaxy S4 i9500 Fail to identify chipset and usb drivers

Hi,
Have bought a clone Galaxy s4 i9500 phone. Korean Made
Can connect to pc as usb storage device but not as a phone.I am not able to see the operating system files via usb storage just ordinary files. The phone has not any app buttons just a few games preloaded. When connecting to the internet the Baidu page comes up (Chinese)
The phone has limited settings ie Phone settings, Display, Security, Call settings and Connections
Due to this I am unable to check phone components in order to load drivers to connect or to enable usb debugging mode.
Did reset phone and tried many drivers and connection managers.
Phone memory apparently 1.2M? Memory file use presently 884.01k/1.2M
The phone does not have a file manager.
When connecting to a pc the following settings come up, Charging, U Disk and PC Connecting. PC Connecting under under other devices show as Two Usb Devices when connected. I use xp sp3 on the pc.
Downloaded apk programs to pc then to sd card on phone but unable to open them.
The phone built is as below
Can anybody on the forum identify the phone by the pictures.
Thank you
