Hello everybody,
First of all, I am using:
OnePlus One
SultanRom -> Unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 with 3.4.0 kernel (https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...m-kernel-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3242700)
I have a really weird problem. By chance I went to the data usage settings and saw that on the first place the Stock Messaging app is, with f*ng 7GB!! I cannot explain how the SMS App, which doesn't needs any kind of Internet access, has used so much data! It's also weird that ProxyHandler is also on the very top with 1.2GB. Can someone explain? It also says, that the app was in the foreground, it wasn't!!
Screenshots in the attachments..
Thank you all,
Dogi-

Rooting a device doesn't impact the performance so first off, what did you install/uninstall/disable after having root access?

Clear data and uninstall them: "chinfire3d,custom ram pro,bug fixer" There's no reason to have low performance after rooting so these apps or one of these apps had a bad impact on your device.

Anybody know how to change floating notification's setting in the newest carbon rom nightly release?
I want to put some application notification to a "blacklist"
I'm using internet speed meter and touchpal x. So everytime I type the IME notification always appear taking some space up on the screen
I know that the floating notification can be turned off but I want it to be turned on but without those notification from those apps I mentioned before. Is that possible?
Looking forward for your reply. thank you

Unfortunately I don't think you can, at least not yet. The duration it appears on screen is affected by how much you're tapping on the screen and if something is in immersive or not.

Uninstall it and reinstall. If the problem still persists go into recovery and try wiping caches. If it still doesn't work after that then I have no idea.

I installed the X version of antutu and it works fine. Thank for your help
Hi,
Recently I tried installing the Cyanogenmod using 4 different versions. The first one by the installer given by the website and the next 3 using ClockWorkMod app with the last 3 snapshot versions starting from the 16 Sept one and moving downwards.
All installations failed to connect to WhatsApp when I am on mobile network even though I can still surf the internet on my web browser and access Play Store. Once I am connected back to wifi, the WhatsApp will be working again.
Anyone experiences this and have a solution?
Thanks!
Looks like the problem is with your network provider rather than the Rom itself ..
See if whatsapp works on other ROMs for you like purity or slim. I use lots of ROMs and have never had a problem with whatsapp

Hope this clarifies the situation.

Just to confirm. The change in kernal takes place during the unlocking or rooting process?
Hello. When i flashed lollypop i had almost at all times 1Gb free ram. For some reason during last few days i am having only around 200mb. What happened? How can i check what system things are taking up so much memory? The settings in lollypop only show usage for user downloaded apps. I have tried restaring phone and closing all apps using some app closers.
Another issue came up. The home launcher, original one. Now restarts itself each time i leave some demanding app like chrome. Really annoying. It also glitched out a bit due to massive loss of ram for unknown reason. Anybody has any ideas what to do?
Im completly stock, no root, no custom rom or recovery. Locked bootloader and everything stock. No tamper flag.
Are you using the release version or preview/custom ROM? I have no issues personally
Yes this is a big problem for many. Check it out here.

'Stock' can still be the preview build, always best to clarify the build you're on, e.g. LRX21O (the factory image)
That is the exact one i have LRX21O. Sorry for the lack of clarification. Really forgot to mention the build number.

Hi guys it's almost been a month since I installed the OTA update for CM12. But even since I did that, I haven't been able to use my mobile data connection and it never connects. Please help me out, what shall I do? I was thinking of sticking with the CM12 as it drains much less battery than the previous update.
