download any .tar ROM like kyrillos rom and flash it via odin
connect the phone to download mode and then open odin and select the .ops file and tick one package and select the .tar rom you have downloaded and then click start
once the download is complete, wipe data in the recovery (it automatically enters it)
and then reboot
enjoy
Thanks alot ill try it out
my friend gave this link i flashed it accourding to this

-- delete app data.....
Delete files,please wait.
i tried going into recovery but same thing happens.
Im not familiar with androidadvices.com so cant say why that would happen, I know that there is stock firmware available on here is you search STOCK FIRMWARE you will find it. download one you want to unzip it, flash the .tar file via odin and factory reset and wipe dalvik cache. this should solve any problems you have.

download JPU and flash it via odin
My gti5801 is stuck on recovery menu and i dont know what to do...
pull out the battery and reflash your rom with odin

tried to install a 6.0.1 rom and ****ed up my phone so bad.

downloaded twrp 3, was running 5.1.1 on my phone and rooted it. tried to flash a rom and got stuck in a bootloop, now I cant boot into twrp, or anything for that matter. All i can do is hold volume down and power and home and try to ODIN a new bootloader or such and it just fails. what do i do? but when I try to boot into TWRP it goes into a blueish screen with a White exclamation mark saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software. I tried to do that but it didnt even recognize the device. At this point i dont care about the data, I just need a working device
Okay, so I attempted to unroot and flash the stock 5.0.2 software and I got a error on the download screen. It says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3. BINARY: 1.
If you have no knox install MM official then flash this kernel tar file (AP) https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B40ItdHKfkyQcTA5bnRPWDg0X28&usp=drive_web#list it will boot to mm 5min :good:
Btw you cann downgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 you just go up not down

Happened to me a lot of times in the past few days trying to get MM, for some weird reason flashing Unikernel always works for me (takes me to recovery screen after, then i select 'reboot now'), and all my data, apps etc are still there

Okay guys so now I need a ROM to flash using ODIN. I tried to download from sammobile but the speeds are too damn slow. What I tried to flash was this file " G920TUVU1AOCG_G920TTMB1AOCG_G920TUVU1AOCG_HOME.tar.md5 " and i got the error 3 to 1.
Download Samfirm from here, XDA itself.
Run samfirm, enter model as G920F and your region code.
It will download from Samsung servers, so high speed.
Now flash using Odin the downloaded file by putting the phone in download mode, (vol down+home+power on).
How did it happen?
Did you try to flash the VOD 6.0.1 and got stuck towards the end at hidden.IMG failing the process?
If yes, then its a two minute job. Just open the 6.0.1 tar archive and look for hidden.IMG extract it anywhere and rename it from "hidden.img" to "hidden.img.tar".
Note flash this hidden.img.tar as AP in download mode, your phone should boot.

after flashing boot_logo.zip phone not power on.

hi,
i've done something very stupid. I downloaded one boot logo.zip, then i extracted it, then changed the logo.jpg file with my own photo, zipped it back to .zip format and I flashed it in recovery. Since then the phone is not booting to recovery or system. I can boot it only to "odin mode". what should I do??
HELP

I have a Note 5 from Tmobile. I installed deodexed EQK1 from Metabolic. Well now I am trying to go back to stock. After wiping everything, and trying to install any stock zip from Sammobile, it keeps saying the zip file is corrupt. Can someone please help?

The zip you downloaded from sammobile can only be used with Odin. You can't flash that in recovery. Download Odin on your pc and be sure to enable usb debugging in settings. Move the zip from sammobile to your pc and extract the zip. You should have one file that extracts from the zip. Boot your phone into download mode and plug it into your computer, open Odin and you should see a connected device. In the AP slot of Odin open the file from the zip and let it confirm your md5. After it verifies the md5, open options and turn off auto reboot. Turn on bootloader update and F Reset time. Flash the file and once it completes hold the download mode buttons until the screen turns black. Now you MUST BOOT into recovery TWICE. After the two recovery boots it should boot back to stock.
DUH. I am on pain meds, and was not even thinking that all files from Sammobile are for Odin. Thanks very much Metabolic, and thanks for your hard work as well

Funny how the brain can completely stop you from being able to find info stored away in there just from a little demerol LOL. And then you get frustrated and make it worse!

My g386w is stuck on Downloading.... do not turn off target

I wanted to install a custom rom using twrp. i rooted it and selected the twrp file then i recovery rebooted it took me to a screen that says Downloading... Do not turn off target. I have tried everything i could find online to fix this nothing has worked.
Any suggestions?
Try pressing down power + volume down for a few secs to try a force reboot
mine did the same as well
Flashing ROMS using TWRP on this phone would typically require a re-flash after the first flash to work properly. After wiping and flashing for the first time, reboot into recovery again and then do the same wipe and flash once more and it should now work. If that fails, then try re-flashing stock then start again...
Connect phone to your PC then download stock rom file form Internet. I suggest using sammobile.com. MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD RIGHT FOEMWARE VERSION MATCHING YOUR PONE MODEL NUMBER! Download Odin3 and flash stock rom using AP option in Odin3. Hope this will work!
