Has anyone rooted and tried force doze or Greenify to help with battery drain?
if you have wakelocks or the phone doesnt go into sleep then yes greenify will work

Since I updated to KitKat 4.4.4 carbon ROM
I've been facing battery drain while using WiFi mostly not during sleep
I tried doing everything I could to stop it
Disabling Google play services from time to time... Using greenify
Freeing up ram ...battery saving mode
Disabling wake up for apps from app ops
Now I use it for 2 hours and it uses 40 percent of the battery with the lowest brightness though
Please give me suggestions or fixes
Thnx

20% a hour isn't a to drastic drain of battery if your gaming or heavy programs ?
I got extemely good battery life from 4.4.4r1 CARBON ROM was your battery life the same on the previous ROM before you came to CARBOM ROM ?
I would go to the dev section and ask if this is normal for all the issues your are having
So, using the pc version of wakelock detector, I was able to find that those three services were keeping my phone awake and draining my battery like crazy. What should I do? Anyone with the same problem?
Hello guys
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia L and I noticed that the battery drains very fast compared to stock. I searched this problem and it appears to be a deep sleep issue, but i don't really found out how to solve it. My battery stats show a great consumption on Google Play services and Display, so I guess it fits the deep sleep problem. I tried disabling some services, but i don't really know which one since i am kinda noob at this.
If anybody could provide a clear and detailed solution, that would be great. Thank you.

Use the greenify app from playstore
I don't think that would solve much. I installed better battery stats and these are the ones causing battery drain:
Awake
Wifi On
Wifi Running
No Data Connection
No or unknown signal
All these have 100% at battery consumption. Greenify only allows me to put to hibernation apps like Facebook, Messenger or so.
So... any other ideas?

Come on cm12 the battery's much better over here!
Hi,
I saw here some pepole getting 5H SOT and I get only 3H-3.5H SOT.
I dont have root but I disable most of bloatware apps, also I use Greenify and Doze.
Any tips for getting more battery life?
Thanks!
Thank you for the Doze app.
Instead of Greenify, Hibernate seems to avoid the need for Greenify.
There are ways to disable the selected bloatware (Knox, etc), but I cannot locate the app that does this just now. Root is not needed.
so even when i disable all bloatware using the bloatware disabler , GSAM battery analyzer still shows that the android system is consuming 50% of the battery including all the services that is supposed to be disabled!
anyone know how to fix this crazy standby drain ?
