[Completed] Rooting a tablet device with Intel Atom Sofia 3G-R processor - XDA Assist

I have tried numerous rooting tools including all the favorites both PC based and tablet download.
One forum I read suggested that it was impossible to root Intel devices.
Is this true? or does any one have the answer please?
The tablet in question will not support WiFiMulticast. This tablet will have one job in a hospitality environment. I just want to load a ROM that supports WiFi Multicast.

Hi there and welcome to assist,
Unfortunately there is only few info's about that, but not specifically for your device:
Teclast X70R - C7F9 - Tablet - Android 5.1.1 - Intel SoFIA Atom X3-C3230
Teclast X70 3G SoFIA Atom x3-C3130 Quad Core 7 Inch Android 4.4 Tablet PC IPS Screen
Or try some general methods from here: How to Root Any Device
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums if you have any other questions.
Good luck

[Completed] custom rom noob help needed

Hello I'm new to this forum and I'd like to ask some questions.
I have one of the most unknown phone on the market I guess, it's a Nuu Z8.
I believe there isn't a single thread about the Nuu Z8. Anyway to my point I was looking for a custom ROM (like CyanogenMod) but of course it doesn't support my phone.
Then I started to ask myself and now you guys, could it be that I can use a CyanogenMod ROM that isn't meant to be for my phone but possibly could work because it is made for the same architecture and stuff? (I found a few ROMS made for my architecture)
further specs:
cpu:
- MediaTek MT6752
- ARM Cortex-A53
- 64bit
- ARMv8-A
- 1700MHz
- 8 cores
GPU:
- ARM Mali-T760 MP2
- 2 cores
- 700MHz
RAM:
- 2GB of LPDDR3 800MHz single channel RAM
storage:
-32GB
DUAL sim and sd card
5.5" screen with 1080x1920 pixels
if more specs are needed you have to google:" NUU Moblie Z8 - Specifications devicespecifications . com
Edit: There also isn't a cwm or twrp custom recovery menu made for my phone but I can flash ROMS and ZIP/OTA files using flashfire.
I believe this also means that when I brick my phone I can't install the default ROM because I don't have an custom recovery menu.
Hi Gimly161
Thank you for using XDA Assist
I was able to find only one XDA thread regarding your device:
NUU Mobile Z8 Unboxing & First Impressions - Budget Phone - Great Specs (Joshua Bane)
CyanogemMod as well as every ROM, Custom Recoveries and Root scripts are developed regarding each targeted device. It would be difficult (dangerous indeed) to use other devices development onto your device.
So, as we do not have an specific forum dedicated for your device yet, our experts at the below forum may be able to help you. Please be welcome to post over in there.

Nice regards and good luck.

[Completed] Help for an impossible overclock thanks !!!

It happened in his hands a Deco77x with Andorid 4.4.2, not to throw it I put it back to life with a custom ROM, a Andorid 5.1.1 porting a Galaxy A3 currently installed. I tried the Lollifox, the CyanogenMod 12.1, I have tried several kernel including the "Franco kernel", adapted as one its appropriate there. I have traveled far and wide. But going to the point, the terminal mounting a MediaTek MT6572 CPU, 2 Cores, ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.00GHz, I can not in several GHz overclock to bring in more 'of 1.00 ... even if the operations are all going cheap end more 'of 1.00 just does not go. Putting the chip no longer 'of the power holders, perhaps limited by the producers themselves in a specific version for this phone, I've found on the website of MediaTek these data, "Dual-core chip (1.2GHz) ARM Cortex-A7 processor" so just do not understand because 'more' of 1.00 can not go there. I arrived to the extreme and I address you. Here I write some data that might help.
Info Deco77x
-CPU MediaTek MT6572 ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.00GHz
-GPU Mali-400 MP
-root KingRoot
-Flashify
-Recovery "Philz Deco recovery"
-Chamelephon 1.0
-no-Frills CPU Control
-Trickster MOD Kernel Settings

Update Android on Elcano 2 (MT8389)

Hi everyone! This is my first post so..first of all I apologize for my grammar, I'm Spanish.
A few days ago I found at home a BQ phablet model Elcano 2 Quadcore. After charging and turning on the device I realized that it currently runs android 4.2.2. I managed to root my device so that I could update it to a more current version of android. The problem comes when I can't find any TWRP recovery or support on Lineage OS.
I have read that you can use the recovery of another device with the same specifications as mine but I have not found anything on the internet either.
Hope you can help me update my phablet. I don't need the latest version of android, by making my device useful I'm satisfied.
I downloaded the Aida64 application to know what processor I have:
MediaTek MT8389
4x ARM Cortex-A7 @ 1508MHz
1Gb Ram
32Gb ROM
7inch
Thanks dudes
