After restart PIN - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Hey Guys,
Sry for my english. I have got a problem with my honor 8.
the phone wants to have a pin after the restart. i already hard reseted it but the phone wants to get the Pin further on... Oh yes for all the people which think it is the PIN code.. no it isnt. -.- i even tried to connect to the android device manager and change the PIN there on my device but it wasnt this pin eather. now i dont know what pin it is. i eaven dont have a conformation button. there is just emergancy calls and the delete button.
please help me

Isn't that the pin numer you used to set up fingerprint sensor?

komakino76 is correct, when you set up fingerprint unlock you needed a pin to confirm. That pin is required when you restart the phone--it won't let you unlock it for the first time with a fingerprint.

After you filled in you sim card pin you will need to fill in the pin code you have set when you set your fingerprint id. This is a safety thing. So after you filled in that pin code everything should work again. If not then we need to figure something out.

The Pin Number after a Restart is an Android Security Feature.

Got the same problem. Tried to restart it to today and there was no "go" button (u know what i mean?) so the screen just went off and it told me my PIN was wrong even tho im pretty sure it wasnt. And a few min ago my phone blocked me for the 4th time for one hour. So if anyone got an idea why this happened and how to undo it kmp

reboot your phone to fastboot by pressing power and volume down when the phone is off, and type this command in cmd " fastboot erase userdata "" or "fastboot format userdata" ,this will clean your internal storage and won't ask the pin

i managed to do exactly as above till step 12 , i lost it after that
how do i setup fastboot and get those images from ?
help out a noob please !
Here are all images (make sure you use the proper images for your device. If you are unsure, remove battery and check label):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1063664
For fastboot, you basically need to follow the first part on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007782
It basically setting your machine with the proper drivers for Nexus S and installing SDK tools so that you can use fastboot and install bootloader, boot and recovery.

Are you using a i9023? Are you sure you didn't update to ICS with it and just can't see it because the backlight bug in that release? If that is the case, it is possible you just didn't clear your cache before upgrading.

[Q] Unlock pattern Sony Xperia E (c1505)

Hi i searched for days the forum but didnt found a solution to my problem.
I have a Sony Xperia E (c1505). I did let my little brother used it for some days cause his phone was broken and he entered a pattern lock which he does not remember anymore. I cannot unlock it with adb cause the Usb debugging is not on. I cannot use my Google Account cause it only asks me a question where i was born, which my brother also dont remember what he actually wrote there. Also i cannot fastboot to hard reset the device. I would prefere to somehow unlock the pattern without loosing my data, cause of the contacts and documents i have in the device.

Then I guess it is not possible to go any further..
Atleast, if you had your Bootloader unlocked, we could flash a kernel with recovery and would have tried to break the pattern..

Look I had somewat d same phone but while unlocking boot loader my phone stuck in a boot cycle.
So wat I did was flashed the stock Rom with the help of flashtool by androxine(or like that)
All u need is
1. Stock firmware (ftf file)
2. Laptop or desktop
3. Flastool
Open flashtool click on the thunder button, select flashmode, now select the ftf file.
Now connect the cord to pc and now the important part
Turn off ur phone
Remove battery
After 5 sec insert battery
*** HOLD VOLUME DOWN KEY AND INSERT THE CORD INTO PHONE ***
Notification light will glow green this means u have entered flash mode ( in ur phone)
Now flashtool will identify that u have connected a phone into flash mode.
It will flash the file and u will see ur phobe factory reseted

There is a post somewhere on here that tells you how to go from ColorOS to CM11s..
I had some problems also.. I went from CM11s to ColorOS back to CM11s and got reboots and FCs...
You need to manually reflash all the files through fastboot and not through recovery... after I did that, worked no problem...

It is nothing but common issue now-a-days with OPO,don't know why.
Sol- Just dettach the back cover of the device then wipe it and reattach it.
Start with upgrading TWRP , that version is highly outdated.
Download the latest img from here: https://dl.twrp.me/bacon/
And flash it from fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp_xxxxxx.img
Also is it COS or CM?
Either way I suggest you a full wipe and flash stock cos13.1 from fastboot. Then go flash whatever you want.

You can use a flat screwdriver if you don't have to appropriate tools, but be very very delicate. Search on the Internet there are plenty of disassembling OPO tutorials.

The only solution is which I told you,it's a common issue on OPO after it gets old.Just dettach the back cover, clean it with a dry wipe cloth(micro fiber) or it's better if you have isopropyl wipes and also clean the power and volume strips that are on either sides(BE CAREFUL NOT TO USE WET WIPE ON IT!!),then attach the back cover.
There are many disassembly tutorials on Youtube, just follow any,it will show you how to remove back cover very easily.
Ps-Make sure to remove sim tray before dettaching back cover otherwise you'll end up breaking sim card slot.
Good Luck!

You mention it was on airplane mode , no wi-fi so your phone boots up , right? usually when it first boot it should ask you introduce the password of your associated email ( google most cases).
But explain what happened , how you got FRP without reseting the phone ?

Reading is hard, mmmkay?
It sounds like you're dealing with an MDM lock. FRP doesn't prohibit stock firmware from being flashed, but MDM does. And an MDM lock would also prevent it from being factory reset via the Recovery menu. I was asking for the Download mode picture in order to confirm the MDM status

Might be worth a few more tries. If you're timing or sequencing is off, it doesn't take. Unfortunately this skill isn't made better by stress. I miss 1-2 out 3 attempts at times.
