Hi guys,
My FRP status on fastboot is always locked.
I tried these but I can not make It unlocked
-lock bootloader, enable develepoers settings, open oem unlock from developers, unlock bootloader, factory reset obviously
-downgrade to emu4.1, factory reset, play with bootloader and oem unlock option with multiple combinations
-did search all xda and googled lots of forums.
I can't flash recovery, boot or anything from fastboot since FRP lock is ON.
Any ideas, what can i do?
Same here, no one can help ?
go to Settings > About Phone then tap Build number 7X. Go to Developer options > click on OEM unlocking and USB Debugging.

tap the "build number" repeatedly, it will enable your developer option. in developer select the option "enable oem unlock" , it will unlock your frp lock. thanks.

Hi pophores,
Try to unlock bootloader again.
hello guys
first off all there is no "oem unlocking" option in developer options menu
i tried to unlock my zenfone 4 max boot-loader in 2 ways
first i tried asus official app which didn't work
and then i tried to unlock it with "fastboot oem unlock" command then i got this massage " unlock boot loader" i select yes
but after a reboot a pop up came which said encrypting and nothing has happened
is there any other way ?
Look inside here:
https://www.getdroidtips.com/unlock-bootloader-zenfone-4-max/
- install using this guide
- then i relock the bootloader
- no Google Play, sim not detected, phone become RELOCKED instead of LOCKED
- enable Developer Options but OEM Unlocking greyed out(it says 'Connect to the internet or contact your carrier')
- phone connected to WiFi, can browse, but still no luck
- try to relock but i cant since OEM Unlocking cannot enabled
- so yeah, I'm stuck with bootloader locked i cant do anything
Any help here? Im running out of ideas. Please help.

open you phone and connect to internet
Enable Developer Options: go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging options ( Settings -> Developer options )
Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phone Drivers ( ignore this if you have installed it ) Drivers Download
Enter Download Mode ( Connected USB Cable to PC, Turn Power off the phone, Press and hold Volume Down + Volume Up keys together then while pressing these keys connecting the phone to PC with USB Cable Data, release all keys when Download Mode appears ).
In Download Mode you see the long press Vol Up option to enter Device Unlock Mode. Unlock the bootloader ( that will wipe your device so be sure to backup of your data )
After Bootloader unlock, the phone will reboot and make sure the phone connected to the internet
now repeat (1) and go to devolper options you will found that OEM unlock is checked with gray and you cannot change it
now your bootloader will be unlocked successfully .
Its not possible to unlock OEM on my onplus 8. I red that this might be because of a simlock. Afaik there is no simlock on my phone.
As i try to swipe it i got a request for my PIN. After that it just goes back to the previous screen.
You forget to mention about his carrier is it Tmo vzw eu what?
Ups sorry, i guess its eu version. IN2013
Solved by just disabling and enabling developer mode ... Now its possible to enable "OEM unlock"
