Ghost Touches start only when I touch screen, If I don't touch screen its normal but when I touch for example center screen it start ghost touches all over screen.
But it only happens when battery is under ~35~40%. Now I have 65% and it normal working using for debugging apps, watching YouTube, browsing, ... also when battery drop below 40% and start crazy touches when I touch I connect phone to charger and it start normal working, no ghost touches when I touch screen.
I bought a used phone with broken touchscreen and replace it with new one, it doesn't have original battery. Here is picture of battery:
I also try different charger and usb cable, but its the same problem.

Screen Burn

Hi all,
I have noticed that my screen seems to get the burn effect at the bottom (where the menu is in TouchFLO) most the time its not really noticeable until you slide the keypad. It dissapears if the phones been off for a while but considering the phone goes into standby and the screen doesnt stay on dont really know why this is happening.
Would you consider RMA'ing? just cant really do without the phone
I think I have noticed the same thing... it's a bug, not a hardware issue... try to softreset the phone and then look closely to that area
Same here
indeed, soft reset works. There is also an uglier version of screen distortion - when I browse to internet page that contains many flash applets (displayed by Adobe Flash Lite plug) Then I have a full screen flooding/chaotic/psychedelic (maybe more adjectives ) effect similar to my pre-previous laptop with broken lcd cables. I can stop it by turning off screen/suspending by the top button and turning it on again. It might appear then again but usually doesn't. Weird, not a problem for me though.

Need help identifing reason for strange and frequent freezes

Hi guys
I have this strange behavior going on in my Sentation.
Out of nowhere my phone started to have strange screen behavior... Didn't light up after pressing the power button (had to phone my self in order to get screen on).
The next thing was that suddenly the screen goes to maximum brightness or goes to minimum without any explanation (tried both auto brightness or manual).
After that I noticed that the screen went off when I was using it but when I pressed the left side of it it lighted up and off again... making me think of some kind of bad contact underneath. As I already had changed a broken touch screen for t3 times, and let the phone fall for several times I thought it had to do with some plug out of line...
I disassembled the phone completely and mounted up back again. The thing is that the phone started to freeze every 5 minutes (screen on but completely freezed. I have to pul out battery). Sometimes it freezes even in the recovery menu. I've tried several rom's with full wipe and not installing anything and its all the same.
Some times I still not that the screen goes off during the freeze but when I touch the left side it goes on again, but that doesn't change the freezed state even that I let down the phone for several minutes.
I disassemble the phone again, tried different back cover and different battery (one stock and other extra strength) I tried also all the suggestion related to the small pin in the back not connecting well with the back cover (adding an aluminium foil, pulling the pin out, etc..)
Nothing seams to resolve anything so I have clearly an hardware problem... but I don't know what to replace or where to look the damage!!!
Can anybody help me please?!
Update
I have an update on my problem:
I noticed that when I leave the phone on top of some kind of metal part and don't touch it it works all day without any problem but, as soon as I start to touch the phone, it freezes within minutes!
Could it be some kind of static electrical problem? How to resolve it?
I would apreciate any help
Thanks

[Q] Touch Screen Unresponsive plus White Horizontal lines

Hey guys and gals,
I have nexus 5 that is just about a year and a half old. Every now and then, when I wake up the phone from sleep, the touch screen becomes unresponsive and I see white horizontal lines running across the top. I have tried restarting the phone, resetting the phone to factory. The problem still persists. The only way I get the lines to stop from showing up and get the touch screen responsive again is pushing down on the screen hard at random location.
I have attached a video of the problem I'm getting. https://youtu.be/CzgZ1bcN1Lk
I'm suspecting its a screen issue and I need to replace the LCD panel, Digitizer, etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
You need to replace the digitizer (if I'm not wrong), I've encountered this issue before on my older phone.

Touchscreen not responding after getting wet

Hello
My phone accidentally got dropped in water today (for less than 1 minute).
I took the back cover off and removed the battery and SIM card. I wiped everything with a dry cloth.
I put everything back together and the phone did turn up. Touchscreen display is working but unfortunately screen is not responding to touch.
I took a friend's phone and called my number. I could see caller ID on the screen and three buttons - for accept, reject and message - however touching them does not work.
I sent myself a message on WhatsApp and I did get a notification on my phone (lock screen) that a message has come - thus WiFi is also working
I connected the phone to charger and I could see the battery icon on top-right turned green, indicating that the phone is charging.
I can however see a headset/headphone icon on top-right as well, even though no headphone is connected - although I am not concerned about this as I don't use headphone at all.
My issue is that touchscreen display is not responding to my touch, which makes the phone unusable. Note that the display is there and the clock is updating the time.
Is there anything that can be done please?
When I first restarted the phone after wiping off the wet parts,
I received a screen with following buttons.:
Chinese
PCBA Test
MMI Test
MMI2 Test
Hardware Info
fastboot
recovery
download
Power Off
PCBA test: FAIL
MMI test: FAIL
MMI2 test: FAIL
Finish(==VolUP+Power In==)
However, after a few restarts, this above screen went away and I was getting a normal lock screen (which I could not unlock because the screen is not responding to my touch)
Also when I press the power button to shut down, I get 4 icons (as usual for shut-down, flight mode, restart etc). But I cant interact with them. I have to remove back-cover and take battery off to shutdown the mobile phone.
So, seems like it is the responsiveness of the touchscreen, which is dead.

Taking out the battery was the right thing to do. But you should have left it out for longer. Put the phone into a bag of rice or silicon desiccant and leave it for a while to ensure all the moisture has been removed. Its highly likely that your phone is still wet internally which will definitely screw around with the touchscreen. Right now you should just hope that your touchscreen controller hasn't been shorted out permanently, which can happen when moisture gets in.

SM-J737T1 Screen black, but unit is running

Screen is black and no combination of button input will do anything. Unit will charge and CPU is running since it's sending battery and location data. Unknown if unit may have been damaged/dropped. Have ADB. Help!
The phone is making normal notification and ringing sounds. I managed to locate and run Scrcpy.exe, a "carbon copy" program that lets you remote-in to the unit using a computer keyboard and mouse and ADB over a USB connection.
Invoking Scrcpy.exe I was greeted with an image of the "normal" phone screen (what I should be seeing on the phone's display if it wasn't black.) After about 10 seconds the phone-screen on the computer turned black and I was back to square one. Tried again and quickly used the mouse to trace my unlock pattern, this worked. Using the computer keyboard, mouse and display with Scrcpy.exe I was able to read email, check voicemail, I presume I could do anything I would have been able to do on the phone's touch screen (unknown if the touch screen still works).
Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to coax the phone's screen into displaying anything other than black.
It's beginning to look like the screen is FUBAR -- or is it?
E: The home key, power key, and the touch keys to the left and right of the home key all work. Ran Samsung diagnostics by pressing *#0*# . All diagnostic tests passed except for display and touchscreen.
Will attempt to drain the non-removable battery and try again.
Cured it by draining battery!
The battery was allowed to completely drain and was reconnected to a charger, resulting in the screen coming back to life!
Hooray beer!
